A/N: The blip happened several years later. Shuri and K'uk'ulkan are already in a relationship.

Talokan joined the battle of Wakanda. Talokan and Wakanda were allies now. The King of Talokan, K'uk'ulkan, fought hard with Wakanda and the Avengers. He ripped through several members of Thanos's army.

K'uk'ulkan saw something fall from the lab. He couldn't tell who it was. There was a second form that went after it. K'uk'ulkan killed the alien he was holding before flying toward the lab. Shuri was up there, trying to extract one of the infinity stones from an android.

K'uk'ulkan entered the lab. "Shuri," he called. To his relief, Shuri sat at her desk, appearing to be uninjured. He rushed over to her, collecting her into an embrace.

"We were ambushed, my uthando," Shuri explained. "I tried to stop them from taking Vision."

"I'm just happy you're okay," K'uk'ulkan whispered. He pulled away from the embrace. He noticed something out of the corner of his eye. A giant purple man had entered the battlefield. Thanos. It was time for him to rejoin the battle.

He kissed his intended bride on the head. He flew to the ground. The battle had come to a halt. Thanos approached a crying woman. The android lay dead on the floor, the stone no longer in his head. Thanos did something that K'uk'ulkan had never seen before. He turned back time, reviving the android.

He revived the android only to rip the stone from its head. K'uk'ulkan was about to attack, but an ax entered his chest. Another man flew over to Thanos. The man was muttering something to Thanos. There's no way he's going to survive.

Thanos disappeared after a few moments. There was nothing for a few moments. Then, people started to turn to dust all around them. The dusted included a man K'uk'ulkan recognized as Bucky Barns. He knew him as the man Shuri unbrainwashed. He acted almost as much as her elder brother as T'Challa.

K'uk'ulkan flew to the lab. "What's happening down there?" Shuri asked. He cupped her face.

"People are turning to dust down there," K'uk'ulkan explained.

"He did it," Shuri muttered. "He whipped out half the universe."

In a matter of seconds, K'uk'ulkan's hand was empty.

"I used the stones to destroy the stones. No one will ever undo what I did."

Weeks passed from when Thanos whipped out half of the universe's population. K'uk'ulkan spent most of that time doing damage control in Talokan. When he learned the avengers found Thanos, he joined them. No man who killed his children and lover deserved to live.

The man who threw the axe, who K'uk'ulkan learned was named Thor, approached Thanos. No. You got the last hit during our previous confrontation. Before Thor could land a finishing blow, K'uk'ulkan stuck his spear into Thanos. Due to his weakened body, death was almost instantaneous.

Five years past since Thanos whipped out half of the universe's population. K'uk'ulkan never left Talokan. He pulled himself together for his remaining citizens. Things seemed to be getting better for everyone but him.

It took him a while to realize it at first. Slowly, those who got turned into dust came back. People started appearing before his eyes. He didn't have time to celebrate. He immediately flew to Wakanda.

There she was. Shuri was right where she vanished in front of his eyes. "My uthando," Shuri said. K'uk'ulkan rushed over to her, pulling her into a tight embrace. He allowed himself to cry. He never did that in front of other people. Shuri was that special to him.

"I love you," K'uk'ulkan said.

"I love you too," Shuri responded. She let go of him. "I have to go. We have to go. The battle of Earth is happening. Has it been five years?"

"Yes," K'uk'ulkan sighed.

"I'll deal with the implications of what that means later," Shuri said. A portal opened behind them.

In the end, Thanos lost, yet there were losses on both sides. K'uk'ulkan didn't know him well, but even he showed respect when Tony Stark gave his life. He bowed his head in respect.

Everyone celebrated that night. K'uk'ulkan didn't wait any longer. He waited five years. He presented his mother's bracelet to Shuri as a betrothal gift. She accepted his proposal with glee.
