{Greetings from beyond the screen my fellow readers writers, Draco, Slifer and Rex here with a new chapter with a few things;

1st- This is another plot bunny I've only recently had and decided to put to the field real quick.

2nd- Although these are labeled under Dungeon and Dragon this has elements of previous additions and a bit of homebrew.

3rd- Don't expect this selection to be updated very regularly, if fact even less then my other ones.

So to the story.}

Alex "Shieldbiter" Rexford was a half Steel Dragon employed by the town guard. He was highly respected in his job especially since he loved to volunteer at the homeless center.

The town he called home was hosting several interesting events; from Goblin raids to the north, to a cereal killer in the city itself. These events led to him meeting her.

Kira "Cloudjumper" Valet was a Half Silver Dragon adventurer. For years she struggled to control her magic until she released it all at once.

The event started out as a standard day for the town's guard; from breaking up bar fights to finding lost children. That was until a massive explosion erupted through the south east district.

Rushing to the area Alex found adventurers fighting against a band of Fire Dragon Cultists. The apex of the battle was reached when an adult Red Dragon appeared. The half Silver Dragon Sorcerer transformed into a dragonoid as well.

It was then Alex joined the battle.

After a fierce and quite terrifying battle the day was won. Alex went home in exhaustion and began to sluggishly cook himself dinner.

Knock Knock Knock

"Excuse me," A beautiful voice Alex vaguely recognized came from outside the window.

Curiously he poked his head out the window and came nose to nose with that very half dragon.

"Can I help you," Alex asks with a raised eyebrow.

Kira smiles and says, "Whatever you're cooking in there smells absolutely amazing. Is it possible that I can have some?"

Alex blinks in surprise before replying with, "Sure the door is over there."

He pulls himself back into his house before walking to the door. He opens it to relive the beautiful half dragon from earlier that day.

He gives her an almost nervous smile, "Hey there, I'm Alex Rexford, come on in."

She smiles gratefully and says, "Thanks, my name is Kira Valet. If you don't mind me asking what made you agree to let me in?"

As Alex guides her to the table, "It's part of my creed: To offer assistance to anyone who needs it."

Kira stops mid step and says, "Actually I don't really need the assistance, I just like eating new food."

Alex stops while grabbing a pair of bowls, "In that case, it's the simple act of sharing a serving of new food to a stranger."

"You're too kind," Kira says and unconsciously licks her lips. "By the way, what exactly is it?"

"Spiced grilled chicken mixed with wheat based noodles, boiled in a creamy cheese based sauce," Alex explains as he scoops the food into a bowl and places it in front of Kira. "The original creators call it Chicken Alfredo."

2 Hours Later

Kira walked out of the house with a full stomach and a smile on her face. She and Alex had talked all through their meal, it was actually after the third or forth mouthful that she forgot about the flavor itself and simply started to enjoy the conversation.

"You know." She turns back to see Alex in the doorway, "My home is always open to you whenever you need it."

"Thanks I may take you up on that offer," Kira says, before walking away in satisfaction.

For the next few weeks Kira came over to enjoy both the company of Alex and his excellent cooking. This came to a head when Kira was more or less forced to bring her team of adventures to his house.

Alex was pretty much forced to create a large meal for them, he reluctantly accepted due to the fact he liked Kira and partly to thank them for keeping the town safe.

In a matter of hours the rest of the adventures were full and falling asleep. Kira only pretended to sleep and woke up to see Alex finishing the dishes. She snuck up to him and grabbed his warm wet hand.

"Kira wha-" Alex was silenced when Kira pressed a clawed finger against his lips.

"Please Alex just stop talking," Kira whispers before pulling him into his bedroom.

A new relationship was formed that night. Little did either of them know that Kira's team would break down his door in an attempt to find her or the fact that Alex's house would become their unofficial base.
