Chapter Five: What next?
Thomas looked up from the phone in his hands and locked eyes with the dude holding a gun on him.
"So, what happens next?" he asked the other man.
The gun-holding thug motioned with his head, prompting the two men who had been restraining him to immediately release him and head towards, and then out, the damaged front door.
"We leave, and you answer the damn phone when it rings," the man replied with a sneer on his face. Gesturing with his gun, the thug continued, "Turn around. Get on your knees."
As Magnum began to comply, he considered fighting back in an attempt to gain some control over the situation.
