Mall time thanks for the help Ben
Lincoln woke up as he noticed in a test tube as Lisa was doing tests on him
"Blood samples for research purposes." Lisa said.
"Okay. Wait where's lucy?" Lincoln asked noticing she wasn't in the room.
"She's in the living room watching tv." Lisa said.
Lucy was watching her favorite show vampires of Melancholia.
"Sigh I wish I was a vampire." Lucy said to herself,
" Move it" Lola says snatching the remote as Lucy looked nervous and fell off the couch scooting away and sees Lynn come in as she got even more nervous not used to the attention
" Here let me help you up " Lynn says before Lucy finally got up and runs upstairs nervous about all this looking for Lincoln
Meanwhile
" All done " Lincoln says.
Lucy came up to her brother.
"Man this is harder than I thought." Lucy said.
"I know Lisa just took some blood from me for 'research'." Lincoln said.
"Well it's better than that orphanage." Lucy said.
Meanwhile at the orphanage nurse sally was helping kids with bruises caused by Mrs bosswoman.
"Man mrs bosswoman shouldn't treat you kids like this. First thing tomorrow I'm reporting her to the police." Nurse sally said.
" the Lola girl scares me though " Lucy says
"And Lynn has it out for me." Lincoln said.
"Don't worry I'm sure you two will fit right in eventually." Leni said passing by.
Lincoln and Lucy were convenient that leni is right.
Meanwhile nurse sally was in her room at the orphanage as she herself was a orphan after her parents disowned her for her sexuality and was never adopted by any couple and eventually became the orphanage nurse after shadowing the previous nurse for years.
"I hope lincoln and Lucy are doing alright." Nurse sally said.
Later " Ok Mom said I should take you two out to the mall to get school supplies and new clothes since let's be honest you literally look like slaves " Lori says
At the mall Lincoln and Lucy got new clothes.
Lincoln got an orange polo shirt and Lucy got a sleeveless black dress.
"I feel like we wore these things in another life." Lincoln said.
"I know they feel iconic for some reason." Lucy said.
Meanwhile leni was working on a surprise for Lincoln and Lucy.
Meanwhile the police arrived at the orphanage
"Thank you for coming officers as I told you Mrs bosswoman treats the orphans like slaves and makes them work till they are exhausted." Nurse Sally said.
"Okay is there any proof of this?" One of the officers asked.
"I have a list of medical records in my office that has the incidents caused by Mrs bosswoman." Nurse Sally said handing the officers the records as they leave.
"Thank god Mrs bosswoman was out or i would have been fired." Nurse sally said.
Later Lori sees Bobby " Oh boo-boo bear " Lori says as Lucy looks nervous
Lucy then heard flapping and remembered a documentary she watched back at the orphanage and followed it and saw a bat flying around the mall and watched it land on her shoulder and made her feel calm.
Lincoln saw this and later at home Lucy convince her adopted parents to let her keep the bat.
Later Lucy feeding her new pet bat.
"I'll call you fangs." Lucy said knowing that the two will be great friends.
That night
Leni came to see Lincoln and Lucy
"I made you two something." Leni said.
Lucy was handed a bust of Edwin and Lincoln was handed a stuffed bunny.
"I'll call you bun bun." Lincoln said as the two siblings went to sleep.
Leni looked at her new siblings with tears in her eyes.
" That was amazing " Luna tells Leni
Bosswoman spies through the bushes glaring
"Those two brats will cause me my job. I'll need to think of something to get them back." Mrs bosswoman said leaving.
Mr grouse saw the whole thing but shrugged it off.
