"...and field spells," Alexis finally ended her speel about what spell and trap cards were and sat back down.
Soon as she finished, Crowler clapped his hands once, "Perfect, well done Alexis, of course, I would not expect anything less from one of my Blue Obelisk students."
My mind was half in a chemistry book and half on what Crowler was saying. Needless to say, I was being a dumbass trying to multitask in the middle of a class but in my defence, I just could not take a class about Yugioh seriously and instead focused on what I could, hence, chemistry, furthermore I had studied this shit before and I was just revising. Reenergizing mg neurons if you will.
"Now who should we question next?" The good doctor's eyes ran through the class eventually or perhaps inevitably landing on the younger Truesdale.
"You, Syrus Truesdale, explain to the class what a field spell is," And I proceeded to tune the whole thing out.
Alas, my peace was not meant to last. My newly minted blond friend elbowed me, at her polite gesture I returned a glare, but I was unable to even do that well as Crowley's voice picked me out, "Mira," I turned to the man and stood up, "Yes Doctor Crowler?"
He shot me an amused smile, "While I can understand that you can get lost in the book I would rather you pay attention to me," Giggles rang from around the room, they were suppressed but not enough to go unheard, "Sorry Doctor," I ignored them all and apologised.
He shook his head, "Well, yes, now would you tell us what Equip cards are?" I nodded, "Cards that attach to others while providing a wide plethora of effects."
"Types too, Miss Mira," Right those exist, "Spell, Trap, Monster," He nodded, "Examples?" Well…fuck, "Spell: [Dragon's Treasure, Trap: [Kuni with Chain] and Monster…" I paused, I did not remember a single one, so I would have to try and reach for this, "Any monster becomes an equip card with certain cards like my [Relinquished]."
Crowler let an amused smile show, "Mira, points for creativity but please try and remember the relevant content. When I checked your entrance exam paper I saw a distinct lack of hard knowledge. While I do understand you are a very practical player, the theory part is also important."
"Yes, Dr Crowler," I told the man and sat back down, "Pay attention to class Mira," this time it was the blonde who scolded me, I rolled my eyes at her, "Yes, madam Roads," She shook her head as she turned back towards the professor.
"Mira," I turned to the voice, it came from further down, my eyes moved to the source, Bastion, "Yeah?"
"Pay attention to the class," He said with a wide smile—the bastard had heard Alexis—and giggles permeate my surroundings, especially the blonde next to me, to which I mumbled, "For fuck's sake."

Syrus was late, very late. He rushed past the girl's gym and was now running into the boy's locker room. He was huffing from the sprint, and there was more to come for the physical education class, at least the teacher was good eye candy allegedly.
"Damn it, lousy girl's gym, they should make the sign bigger!" He vented his frustrations to an empty room as he slid in.
Rushing over to his locker he pulled the door and kneeled, seeing Jayden's sneakers in the place that was for his own he wondered aloud, "Jayden's sneakers? Guess he's still borrowing my locker," Not paying it much mind he pulled them back and an envelope dropped with it.
Pulling the envelope up he saw a lipstick print on the envelope!? "Huh! This Isn't Jayden's!" He said a sense of excitement started building in him. He nervously eyed the room, it was empty, still not taking any chances. He pulled the letter into his jacket, only opening it up after he reached a concern in the room.
"Since the moment I first saw you…" His hands shook, "I have been in love with you!? Meet me tonight behind the girl's dorms endearingly Mira Heylel!?" The shock was enough to send him falling on his ass, "Man this sure is a lot better than my mom's…" His voice trailed off as his mind shifted to delusions. Of him and Mira in a flower garden, 'Oh Syrus,' Her deep red lips moved, her crimson eyes reflecting only him, 'Please be mine…' He could almost hear her sweet voice, "Oh baby I am all yours."

The water temperature was just right as I, the blonde and her two lackeys soaked in the outhouse bath, I relaxed completely in it.
One of the two sideshows spoke up, "Can you believe how Jayden spoke to Crowler in class today?" He did? It must have been when I was tuned out, "He had some nerve to talk to a teacher like that, completely disrespectful, don't you think Alexis?" She poked her overlord who was at the moment rubbing a warm towel on her cheeks, "Actually I thought it was kinda cool," Her mind immediately got dragged elsewhere, perhaps to that noise outside. Wait…it's that love letter thing, isn't it?
"He would be if his skills were real…" Lackey number two added. "What do you think Mira? Was he cool?" The other lackey asked me, and I shrugged, "I was not listening, you see I find chemistry a much more mystifying subject than most," I lied.
"So you stopped listening and only started when Crowler asked you a question five minutes before the class ended?" Yep, I nodded, "Now about that…" I was cut off by screams, "It's a boy! A boy!" Well as the saints have said, 'Not my problem.'
The three rushed out wrapped in towels and I sighed, 'Fine,' I did not want to go but I did not want to be wrapped in just a towel when Jayden got here.
I stood up and wrapped my towel and headed to my room. I was tired from the day and most importantly not bored because I had finished setting up my PC in the room, so, I was not going to be involved in this shit besides, ''Counter-Strike time baby!" I hummed to myself in a very good mood.
As I got dressed a knock came at my door, "Coming," I said as I slipped on a pair of trousers and a shirt. They were brought midday with blonde and company. Duelling points could be used to buy a lot of things on this island. Who knew?
Anyway, I pulled the door back and it revealed a generic girl who I had never seen before, "Alexis wanted you to go meet her, in the common room, careful the midget pervert is there," She said before scampering away.
I shook my head as I pulled my holstered deck around my thigh and tossed the blue blazer on.
Walking out into the common room I spotted the trio holding the midget pervert …with a rope? Seriously? They had a leash connected to a rope wrapping around his arms. Had I walked into some kind of role-play?
Shaking the thoughts out of my head I heard the cheerful yelling of the pervert, "Mira! Mira! You have to tell them!" I looked at the fool up and down and said, "What should I be telling them?"
"That you love me—" I cut him off, "What? You guys are not eating weird mushrooms at Slifer right?"
He looked like a betrayed puppy as he fell back on his ass, too bad I am more of a nothing person myself so I didn't feel an ounce of sympathy.
Then a burst of energy slipped into him, "I even have the note with me!" He dug a piece of paper from his pocket which was promptly snatched by me, I read it aloud, "Since the moment I first saw you I have been in love with you, meet me behind the girl's dorms, your endearingly Mira Hyel? Haha! My name isn't even correct." I laughed, "Some made you the but of their joke," I said as one of the lackeys stanched the letter.
"Yep Syrus, someone's pulling your chain," and the other lackey laughed even harder, "This is addressed to Jayden Yuki."
He fell back down deflated, "I can't even get a fake love letter," I smiled brightly, "Don't worry perverted-blue-midget, this sort of thing happens."
Syrus cried as I said those words, and Alexis glared at me and chided, "Don't say that, he has already had a bad day."
I scoffed and with as much cheer as I could muster, "Oh don't worry I am not calling him that, the entire rest of the girl's dorm is calling him that!" Though to be fair the middle part of that is all me.
"What!?" Syrus almost screamed between his tears and curled up into a ball, "It's over…it's over, I am never going to have a girlfriend," Oh you won't don't worry.
Alexis' glare hardened even further, "Oh don't worry Syrus. They will all know it was a cruel joke by tomorrow. No one will hold it against you, especially since no real damage was done." I comforted the midget.
He stopped curling and looked up at me with pleading eyes, "Really?" Oh, my boy, the truth is yes, they will but then you will become the laughingstock of the school for falling for such a trick, "Yes they will."
"Okay, what is going on down there?" The conversation stopped as we four zipped around to hide the boy as we heard Fontaine's voice. The blonde's two lackeys pressed the boy into the ground and sat on him as I and Alexis hid them with our bodies.
"Sorry, Miss Fontain, we were just playing," I replied as she came into view from her balcony-enabled room, and Alexis nodded, "We will keep a lid on things Miss."
"Oh, you two? Keep it down, I have class tomorrow," She did not spare us much more than a glance as she turned back, otherwise our shoddy attempt to hide the boy would have gone up in flames.
"So what now?" Lackey number jhun asked, Alexis, went into thought, "You two wanted to know if his skill were real right?" She turned to her two sidekicks and both of them nodded, "Then why don't we use Syrus here as bait to force him to bring out his best? That will prove it right?"
Is she trying to defend his honour here? She already knows his skill—whatever the fuck that means—from the last night, so that must be it. She wants to show them that he is cool, are you kidding me?
"And how do we do that?" My voice was completely flat as I asked her and she smiled, "You know it. You are going to duel him, we get to see your skill too," She had a very determined look in her eyes.
"And why not you?" I shot back at her, she paused, "...Why not both of us?"
"In a Two Vs One?" Well, that could be interesting, I had never done it before.
"Sure?" She asked, this girl was keen on defending his honour, wasn't she? Well, you are gonna get cucked by a duel spirit so, good luck, "You know what? Let's do it."

I sat comfortably in my boat with Alexis as her two lackeys sailed in a separate boat behind us carrying our hostage.
Then cutting the calm currents of the river Jayden came sailing on his little white boat.
"Alexis, Mira," He stopped as he saw us, all dressed in Obelisk blue uniforms. Well, except me, I just had the blazer over casual clothes, "Hey Jayden. Guess what? We caught Syrus sneaking into the girl's dorm," I said with a palpable cheer in my voice only to hear a sharp voice of complaint, "Hey! That's only half the story!"
"Really Sy?" Jayden shot him a surprised look and then looked apologetically at us.
One lackey from behind added, "And now that you are here Jayden, you are trespassing too," Wait that's our story? You guys sent him a recording of how his friend was kidnapped, you think he will get in any trouble for that? Jesus girl, you are brain-dead. I mean even if we are completely winging it, you should have thought of something better!
Then Alexis stood up, pulling me up along with her, "And now you are going to have to win your freedom by beating us both in a Duel! If you lose we will turn you two in."
Syrus then stood up on his boat abruptly shaking the two captors out of balance, "But if you do that we will be expelled!"
"Don't worry Sy, I will beat them both! Now get your game on Mira and Alexis," He said as he and Alexis both deployed their disks.
I sighed, "You two, hold your horse. Let me explain the rules first, Alexis goes first, Jayden second and Me third. Mine and Alexis' life points are halved. Now, She can't attack her first turn but afterwards, she can. You can't attack me on your first turn, and after that, I am fair game. Got it?"
He nodded, "So I can attack you on my second turn but Alexis is okay?" I nodded. It was to let me at least play a card before getting bonked.
"Alright! This is going to be good! Go!"
Then I activated my disk.
"Duel!" All three of us echoed at the same time.

"Alright! I draw," Alexis swiped the card from her deck, "First I summon [Etoile Cyber(1600-def)] in defence mode! Then lay two cards face down and end my turn," So depending on her traps then? Alright.
"Alright! My turn! Draw. Looks like I have to go big or I will go home! I activate the field spell card [Fusion Gate]! It allows me to fusion summon monsters and I fuse [E-Hero Burstinatrix] and [E-Hero Clayman] to summon [E-Hero Rampart Blaster(2000 Atk/2500 Def)] to the field, in defence mode. And I lay down one card face down!" He smiled, "Is that all? I expected more Jayden," Alexis said from beside me.
But Jayden kept smiling, "Oh you say that but you don't know the heat Rampart is packing. I activate Rampart's special ability when he is on the field in face-up defence mode he can attack your life points directly, even though his attack damage is halved. Now go Rocket Barrage!"
Rockets burst forth from the monster's arms as they landed all around us blowing up in puffs of smog.

"Egh," Both of us groaned as we felt pain shoot through us, fuck I forgot that these disks doubled as torture devices.
"How do you like that?" He said and I retorted, "Not at all," I went over the cards in my hand, [Mirror Force, [Monster Reborn, [Pot of Greed, [Mystic Tomato, [Card of Sanctity] and in my "Draw," [Solemn Judgement].
"Alright, you two, first I play [Pot of Greed," I didn't say what it did as I drew cards, [Chaos Emperor Dragon] and [Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands]. From the former, I felt a desire to be thrown onto the field and crush everything. But I held it back, "Come on boy, we will crush the sacred beasts with you, not him," I mumbled to it, "I play [Manju of the ten thousand hands(1000-def)] in defence mode since it was played it allows me to add a ritual monster from my deck to hand. And I choose [Relinquished]. I said as my disk shot the card into my hand. Now, I play [Card of Sanctity, draw three and drop two." I drew [Black illusion ritual, [Witch of the Black Forest] and [Sonic Bird, "I drop…" I was cut off, "Will your turn ever end?" Syrus cursed, "Will you sneak into the girl's dorm again?" He grumbled as one of the Lackeys yanked the rope, "Anyway, I drop [Mystic Tomato] and [Mirror force] to the grave, and place a card face down," and my [Solemn Judgement] appeared face down.
"Now guys tell me, what card has black and illusion in its name? If you guessed [Black Illusion Ritual] then it is absolutely what I am playing! I sacrifice my [Manju] to fulfil the requirement and I summon [Relinquished," a shadow rose on the battlefield as [Relinquished] came to view, "Eat that [Rampart 2000/2500]." I said as tendrils emerged from [Relinquished] at [Rampart] and its card became equipped to mine. "Now [Relinquished(2000 atk)] all-out assault!"
Jayden recoiled as from [Relinquished] stomach rockets burst forth smashing into him.

"Ugh!" He said as he took a knee on his boat, "Oh no Jayden!" Syrus cried and I laughed, "Having fun Jayden?" He stood back on his feet, "Hell yeah! This is all I wanted when I joined the Academy, all the trash talk, all the challenge and more! This is amazing. Yeah Mira I am having loads of fun!"
"Glad then!" I shouted, "I end my turn…" Jayden shouted, "Not so fast, I activate my trap! [Hero Signal] and I chose my second copy of [E-Hero Clayman(2000 def)] in defence mode," I could end it here with [Judgement] and let Alexis go for the game, but no, I did not want to look too good after all.
Now all eyes turned to Alexis, if she had any sort of removal and could do two thousand damage then this game was over. But as I looked at her eyes that alternated between me and my [Relinquished(2000 atk)] and that glint forming in her eyes I knew she was not going to do that. After all, her goal was to prove him, not watch him lose.
"I draw, then I tribute my [Etoile Cyber] to tribute summon [Cyber Gymnast]..." I cut her off, "No you don't, I activate [Solemn Judgement] to negate the summon and destroy Gymnast, and since you already did it, you can't normal summon again."

Everyone froze as [Cyber Gymnast] went to the grave, everyone other than Alexis, "So you knew?" She said and I shrugged, "I saw the eye you were giving [Relinquished, I could almost feel the howling laughter of [Chaos Emperor] even though I really couldn't hear anything.
"What? Mira why?" One of the Lackeys asked and I obliged, "[Cyber Gymnast] can discard one card and destroy one attack position card, take a guess as to what she was about to destroy."
"Wait, really Alexis?" Jayden asked, and she nodded, "You saw that card right? [Solemn Judgement]? It could negate your summon and leave you open, it seems she was counting on me betraying her, instead opting to use it on me."
"Holy! Shit! Let me get popcorn!" I blinked as my eyes turned to the source. Behind me, half the flipping dorm population, hundreds, were there, even Crowler and Fontane. Well, who knew playing Duel monsters in front of the dorms with holograms and sound was a bad idea?
"Don't mind us," Crowler shouted. "Keep going!"
"Sir there are three parties there but only two boats," A student spoke as three others lied up behind a boat there, and together they pushed, sending the boat to us, inwardly I wondered if they would able to do that if we were in the middle of the lake not near one corner of it. Still, I smiled at them with a wide smile as I jumped my boat onto the new one. Doing a graceful landing was difficult but I managed, though barely.
"Jayden, you wanted to have fun right? Let's!" I shouted as I glanced at her to continue her turn, she smirked, "Since I can't do normal or tribute summons anymore, I will have to rely on specials then, I use Jayden's [Fusion gate] to fusion summon, [Cyber Blader] with [Etoile] from the field and [Cyber Skater] from my hand! Now rise [Cyber Blader(2100 atk)]! Normally she would have counted two monsters and doubled her Attack but since they are separate fields, we count them separately. Disappointing I know. [Cyber Blader(2100)] go attack her [Relinquished(2000 atk)]
Her blade-using skater jumped the water and stuck my [Relinquished]
But nothing changed.

Alexis demanded, "Ahh," Jayden shouted at the same time, Alexis looked confused before I spoke, "If my [Relinquished] were to be destroyed in battle, it can destroy the equipped monster instead and all damage goes to the original owner of the card," so I pointed to the kneeling Jayden. "Nice hit by the way!"
"Heck yeah! Mira! Mira!" I heard cheering from behind which I ignored.
"I place one card down and end my turn," Alexis said as she ended her turn.
Jayden stood back up and we all caught his quivering lips, "Man you guys are good, but I can't fall behind, now can I? I draw! I summon my [Winged Kuriboh] in defence mode, go, buddy! And end my turn."
"Awwwww," The girl part of our spectators lit up the noise metre as they saw the little monster.
"My turn then? Well you lads should not have let me have it! I draw," [Sonic brid, "I summon, sonic bird in defence mode and since it was normal summoned, I get to add a ritual spell from my deck, I choose, [Black Illusion Ritual] and now go [Relinquished] eat [Blade Skater]..." Alexis interjected, "I active [Hallowed life Barrier, now I take no damage by your monsters this turn," I shrugged, "But I still eat your [Blade Skater., and since you are not a valid target, sorry Jayden, you lose [Clayman, attack," I watched as [Relinquished] deleted [Clayman].
"Mira! Mira!" I turned to my cheering audience and did an accepting bow before spinning around again to face my two opponents.
"And with that my turn comes to an end," This was fun, really fun. Watching them squirm was amusing as hell.
"Alight, my turn now, draw," She smiled as she nodded, "First I activate my spell card, [Warrior Returning Alive] to bring back my [Cyber Gymnast] and then activate my trap, [A Rival Appears] It allows me to target a monster my monster controles and summon a monster with equal level from my hand, and I choose [Sonic Bird, It allows me to summon [Cyber Gymnast] with the effect and normal summon, [Etoile Cyber]. Then I activate [Cyber Gymnast]'s effect by discarding a card that allows me to destroy one face up attack position card, I discard, [Ritual Weapon] and it destroys, [Relinquished]" I blinked, she had a ritual monster in her deck? I did not remember that. Well, whatever.
My Relinquished vanished from the field and then, "[Etoile Cyber] break her bird, Cyber Slash! And then [Gymnast] go attack her directly!"

The sliding blades woman slashed me across the arms and I bit back the pain, "Now I end my turn.] How did you like that? Ready to give up? Come on? Before you lose too badly, no one will doubt your skill now," She said and I laughed, "Oh really? Well, we will find out."
"Alexis! Alexis!" She mimicked my bow and smirked at me.
"You two know, you two will not beat me, because me and my cards have a bond, I trust in my cards, Draw! Alright!" He shouted, "I use my [Fusion Gate] to fuse, [E-Hero Wildheart] and [E-Hero Bladedge] to fusion summon, [E-Hero Wildedge(2600 atk)]. Come on out and wreck shop," I facepalmed, he really got the exact card he needed, didn't he? Oh well, I am not even mad, this was fun.
"[Wildedge]'s effect allows him to attack monsters on the field every battle face, go [Wildedge] Thousand Cuts hurricane…" I was at this point expecting the game to be over only to realise, his entire attack on all monsters is considered to be his attack, so he had a choice of outing me or Alexis, "Attack all of Alexis' monsters," He chose me, the fool.
Alexis just sighed as she watched Wildedge tear apart her monsters and her life points but the smile she showed after was radiant.

Jayden scratched his hair, "Sorry Alexis, you had way more than Mira so I took you out," She shrugged as she sat back down, "Beat her for me or…" She said as she showed her fist to him.
"Well I end my turn, Mira, your last chance to turn this around!" I took a deep breath as I showed my brightest smile possible, "Jayden, hahahahaha, you picked the wrong one to knock out! I draw! The card in my hand roared, it wanted to tear apart the board. I barely managed to hold it back from throwing him in.
"Mira! Mira! Mira!" I heard the cheers and nodded, "I draw!" And would you look at that? [Senju of the thousand Hands].
I could use it to take [W. Kuriboh] and crash into Wildedge too but [W. Kuriboh] did not have his OCG effect i.e when this card is destroyed and sent to the GY you take no damage for the 'rest' of the turn. It is that if [Winged Kuriboh] is destroyed and sent to the GY you take no damage for the turn. There is no 'rest' in the text. So it would have been pointless to eat it.
That being said, I had five options
1. [Monster Reborn] the [Relinquished, since it has already been ritual summoned, the ruling says I can.
2. Ritual summon the new one on the back of [Senju].
3. Summon [Chaos Emperor]. And out my best card? Nope.
4. Do the top two and end this game. I was not going to win, nope. I was always going to throw the game.
5. Do all the three and out myself. No way.
Number one it is.
"I play [Monster Reborn]. Since [Relinquished] has already been summoned I can revive it. So come on back! My Ace, [Relinquished]!" I laughed as I saw Alexis' face twist up, I never had any intention of winning, and especially after the entire dorm coagulated at the lake? No fucking way. And now that there were Yellows and Reds mixed in with the Blues and the fact that I saw Banner standing there too? Yeah no way fuckers.
"Eat his [Wildedge, Jayden groaned as he [Relinquished] ripped the [Wildedge] from his control and into his stomach.
"Mira! Mira! Mira! Mira! Mira! Mira!"
"Attack his [Kuriboh]..." I was cut off as I heard a thousand high pitched, "Boo! Boo! Boo! Heartless! Heartless!" The girls were booing me for trying to make the game look legit? Fuckers.
"Well played Mira! Well played! Now I draw. And would you look at that? I draw and would you look at that! I activate [A warrior returning alive] to get [Elemental Hero Clayman] from my graveyard and I use my fusion gate to fuse [Sparkman] from my hand with [Clayman] to summon [E-Hero Thunder Giant(2400 atk)]! And when he is summoned he can destroy a card whose original attack his lower than his own! And since [Relinquished] has zero attack! I get to destroy it and attack your life points directly! Go! Static Shockwave!" I welcome it, good job Jayden, your deck is really behind you one hundered percent of the time. I head the card in my hand roar in indignation, perhaps complaining that I let him win, at least that what it felt like, "We have bigger fish to fry, you know?" And when the shock approached I took stance as pain surged through my arm, fucking torture device.

"Alright!" He jumped on his boat, "That was amazing! And it looks like that's game!"

"Jayden! Jayden!..." I tuned it all out as I sat back down on my boat, "That is game Jayden. That most definitely is."
"Mira, your Relinquished is terrifying. If I hadn't drawn into Sparkman I would have lost," I nodded at him not telling that his last draw, heck his whole turn was irrelevant, "Yeah, yeah, a deal's a deal," I turned to Alexis' lackeys. They nodded and boated the midget over to him.
"You guys realise the entire school population was watching us right?" I asked the five fools there and then the looks of realisation washed over the midget and the two lackeys, "Oh no," Syrus curled up again, that pervert, "I was too absorbed in the duel to notice," Alexis looked at her watch and then nodded, "We are two hours past the curfew we are both done for," I rolled my eyes at her as I grabbed the paddles of my boat and gestured towards the crowd watching us, "So it the entire school population."

Had Doctor Crowler not stopped me…" Crowler stopped Fontaine with a wave of his hands, "While I do agree with your dorm manager, let me be the first to say, you two are stars of Obelisk blue. Very well played. Do not do this again," He said as he walked away, likely to avoid giving any praise to the guy who defeated us, who was still paddling over. And if he did punish us, I would have kind of been annoyed, he was the fucker who had sent them to us right?
Anyway, I moved my thoughts away from the professor, "So, Miss Fontaine, the good Doctor said we are…" She sighed a hand over head, "Yes, yes," I cheered and so did the many kids who were hearing the exchange, "Be in the dorms within an hour all of you! You have classes tomorrow," Fontaine chided all of us as she walked to the dorms.
"Yay!" I cheered as she left my sight, which was echoed by all the kids there.
We were all swarmed immediately after, with Bastion being the first to approach me, "Mira! That was a game well played. But I have to say I saw a distinct lack of trap cards, and your first combo to bring out [Relinquished] was crazy. I must say I am excited to face you."
I narrowed my eyes at him, "I had traps, I drew half of my traps in this game in fact," Yeah, two cards out of the four I have in my deck, "As for that match, you cracked my deck's formula did you?"
He shook his head, "Not yet, while I need more time for that, your duel today has manges to fire me up more than enough. I must say that though, the fact that you did not let Alexis' betrayal harm you was amazing."
I smiled bitterly at him, "It did damage, it cost me two thousand life points to play my [S' Judgement]." His eyes widened, "Right, if you had those points you could have taken the hit from [Thunder Giant]."
I shook my head and lied, "I would've used it on something else if not that, my two thousand Life points were going down the drain regardless of Alexis," That was one more thing to consider, in the eight thousand format, [Judgement] is very good, so good that it was limited when I last saw but here? When one direct attack could just cut your life point in half? It was not such a good option anymore. And another card to consider, [Magic Cylinder]. If I managed to cylinder a [Cyber End Dragon]? Or a [Blue Eyes Ult]? That was game right there wasn't it?
"Mira, you really should look in a mirror," Alexis' voice snapped me from my thoughts, "What?" I frowned at her, "You look like a maniac with that smile and your eyes you know that?" She said as I realised that I was too lost in my thoughts.
"Ah I was just thinking about an upgrade of my deck, don't worry," I smiled at her a thousand watt smile of innocence, she then gestured towards the dorm with her head, it took me moment to process her meaning as I realised that people had moved a few steps from us, some even had excited faces like they expected a fight, "Alexis, Three."
She smiled, "Two."
"One."
We bolted. Our destination: The dorms.
[A/N: How was this chapter? I cleaned up the previous chapters and somehow wrote a 6k worded chapter. This was insane. Tell me if you liked the duel. It had twists and turns to keep it interesting. And as I said no cannon duels.
Also for the cards drawn I just used a forty sided dice, (forty two for Jayden) to draw cards, except the last two draws for him which I made up.
And about Mira's cards I manipulated the results because she drew two pots of greed in the first randomiser. That was not fun to write. Because when you have a deck as consistent as her's, Relinquished Spam becomes a bit too easy. I mean come the fuck on, most of her deck exists to draw it.
I mean the fifteen obvious cards- 3xManju, 3xSenju, 3x Sonic Bird, 3x Relinquished, 3xBlack illusion ritual.
Then there are the six two step cards- 3xWitch, 3xSangan
Then the three three-step cards- 3x Tomato
That's twenty four cards that work to add ritual cards to your hand.
Then the Three Pots and Two cards of Sanctity.
That makes 29 cards that help you make Relinquished. It is an absurdly gimmicky deck that works because the anime has funky rules.
