Authors' Notes: after a while we decided to just insert our clan, but it won't get too much of the spotlight except for one specific character.
- Limbo's Resdents
.
.
-We're going to die...-
-Don't be so tragic, we're not going to die.-
-Sister, they are going to kill us all!-
Taking deep, calming breaths, Brunhilde picked up her little sister and let her wrap around the paw like a trinket.
-Göll, stop panicking, I have everything under control.-
The Spiral looked at her unsure.
They challenged a clan pretty notorious for it's ruthless actions, Göll could already imagine their corpses laying on the ground along with those of their sisters.
-You know they will never play by the rules.-
-I know, that's wh-
-Yo Brunhilde! What you did back there was really something else, uh?-
The dragoness held back an annoyed growl as she turned to look at the Nocturne coming behind her.
-I don't know what you're planning, but you should be careful...-
Said the dragon as he went to block her path, grinning widely.
-... those dragons are cruel and brutal. Bunch of self-centered assholes.-
Incubus, this was the Nocturne's name, carressed her chin, whispering:-But if something bad happens, I'll make sure to protect you, okay? Brunhilde- in a sweet tone before grabbing it as his tongue slithered between his fangs like a snake.
-Though it depends on your attitude.-
The dragoness forced herself to remain still, ignoring the wet sensation of the Nocturne's tongue on her cheek before spreading her wings and, after he let go of her chin, letting her head fall on her paws in an elegant bow.
The Nocturne started laughing in delight, not noticing the small grin on the Pearlcatcher's muzzle as she gazed at the corridor they were standing in.
-That's a nice attitude you have there. I've been very interested in you for a long time you know... I wonder what kind of voice would come out, from the prideful, mighty Brunhilde~-
-I didn't start kneeling because of you.-
Said Brunhilde, shielding her sister and her pearl from the blood as a giant hammer came down on the Nocturne, reducing him to nothing but blood and some piece of meat on the wall.
-It's been a long time, Lord Thor.-
Göll's jaw almost touched the ground as she stared at the big and powerful Ridgeback which red scales sparkled with the electricity running trough his veins, while his stare held no expression at all, she could feel that he wasn't there for a friendly chat.
"I should kneelz or else..."
She tried her best to unwrap herself from her sister's paw, but it was like she had caught herself in a knot and was starting to think of the many ways the other dragon could behead her for such a disrespecful posture.
Would he use the hammer again, or his sharp claws?
Prehaps he would just electrocute her with his element.
-Brunhilde... What are you scheming?-
His voice was so cold she had an hard time believing he wasn't from the Ice Flight.
-I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about.-
Thor's sharp claws carressed his weapon, like he was deciding between using it on the dragonesses or not, before he turned around to leave them alone with a plain: "Whatever".
-Don't disappoint me...-
He added before disappearing in the shadows.
-... or else I'll kill you.-
Göll finally came out from under her sister's wing.
-Sister, they'll never let us work in peace.-
-That's why we're taking our sisters and getting in a safer spot, somewhere we can avoid those bastard's claws and train our fighters.-
-Are you sure they'll accept to come?-
-Our sisters would never turn their backs on us.-
...
-... to make this short: we're all at risk and we don't have much time to find our warriors. I'm not saying we're wanted criminals, but some of the Olympus Clan probably think so.-
Said Brunhilde as her and Göll's sisters stared at them in silence.
-Say what?!-
Asked a reddish Fae.
-Perfect! We need a place to go, somewhere we can be safe.-
-Well, there is that powerful clan, in that small island near the Tangled Wood.-
Suggested Thrud.
-You mean the MS? That clan where they spend time indulging in sinful temptations?-
Asked Göll, not exactly sure of how good that idea was.
-What if they ask too much in return?-
-Beggers can't be choosers.-
Answered Reginleif.
-Come on sisters, they can't be that bad if they have lived in peace for so many years without having problems, nor being a problem for others.-
Smiled Randgriz.
-And we still have many other choices, we're not just going there to ask for help without talking with other clans first. Right?-
...
-... and that's why we're here, asking for sanctuary and to study some of the beasts living here as your familiars to choose ours. I know we have no rights to pull you in our conflict and we understand if you prefer avoiding it.-
They didn't have to try many clans, none of the others let them finish the talk the moment "going against the Olympus Clan's wishes" was mentioned.
-Your heart is in the right place and so is your body right now.-
Said a white Skydancer who looked as small as a Spiral near his three Imperial wives.
-If you wish to, you can stay as long as you need and use our training fields for your fighters. Don't esitate to ask for our help in case it's needed.-
-Oh, we don't know how to repay your kindness.-
For a brief moment, the smiles of the four dragons turned into grins full of desire, but they were really good at hiding it.
-We like to help those in need and you're giving us the chance to help kicking those pompous bastards in the oblivion they deserve. We need nothing more.-
Brunhild smiled and nodded as she went back to her sisters.
She clearly heard one of the queens murmuring: "Yet...".
