Warnings: Theft and Gaslighting
Summary: King Edmund arrives in Corona to give his son, Eugene, a family heirloom; when the heirloom is stolen, Eugene and Frederic reluctantly join him on a journey to retrieve it.
Arianna is in the Dark Kingdom. A muscular man with tan skin, long brown hair, a brown mustache, a brown goatee, brown eyes, and eyebrows, wearing a black suit, a brown fur cape, and a purple crystal necklace around his neck, Edmund stands in front of her. An Asian woman with white braided hair tied with golden ribbons, a little black triangle earring in her right ear, and a golden hop in her left, Adira stands beside him. The left side of her face is covered in red war paint. She is wearing a black kimono with a golden lining. Over that, she is wearing red shoulder pads with a golden lining. Over that, she is wearing a gray, sleeveless dress with a fur collar and golden lining. She is wearing a black belt with a golden bear paw symbol on it surrounded by columns of silver buttons. A red scarf is thrown around her waist. She is wearing white arm guards with three gray buttons. She is wearing black pants. She is wearing black boots with fur lining and a black line running down and three lines running across.
"We should get Sunray back to her family," Adira announces. Edmund nods.
"Arianna, time to go home." He announces. He takes her hand. He guides her out.
Arianna and Edmund arrive in Corona at the beach. She runs off.
Rapunzel, Eugene, Frederic, Cassandra, and Natalia sit at a white table with a tablecloth with white chairs surrounded by bushes with yellow flowers drinking tea in porcelain cups with golden lining. Edmund walks up. Dad?! Eugene, who now has on a purple shirt with yellow lining and a sun patch on the shoulder and brown pants and boots, thinks. He spits out his tea. That was disgusting! Cassandra, who now has a purple dress with yellow lining and a sun patch on the shoulder on, thinks.
"ThAt WaS lOvElY, FiTzHeRbReT." She tells him.
"EDMUND!?" Eugene questions, startled.
"Hello, son." Edmund greets him. Why did he call him son? Frederic wonders.
"Son?".
"Edmund's Eugene's father." Rapunzel, who now has on a purple dress with pink lining, explains.
"Oh! Edmund, nice to meet you!". He stands up and holds out his hand for a shake. Edmund shakes it.
"What are you doing here?!" Eugene questions.
"I came to give you this," Edmund tells him as he pushes a wooden box with a golden lining to him. Eugene opens it and pulls out a leather sash with a metal bear paw symbol on it. "It's a family heirloom, passed down for generations.". I don't want it. Eugene thinks.
"Thank you but, no." He pushes it away.
It's a gift from his dad. Rapunzel thinks. "Eugene, it's a gift from your dad." She tells him.
"It's a gift from someone who claims to be my dad." He corrects her. She sighs.
"Eugene, give him a chance. He's lonely.". He sighs.
Later, the Stabbington Brothers, twins with muscular bodies, fair skin, red hair, light blue eyes, big eyebrows, big noses, and big jaws, sneak into Eugene's room. Their haircuts are almost similar (their fringes are combed in different directions). They have dark rings underneath their eyes, and scars underneath their mouths.
Sideburns have a slightly curved scar on the right side of his face. He wears a sleeveless green shirt, his weapon is a long sword on his back. Also, his ears are edgier. Sideburns does most of the talking for both of them.
Patchy, on the other hand, wears a dark, sleeveless shirt similar to his brother, but also wears a long-sleeved shirt underneath. He has round ears and an eye patch on his left eye, and a scar underneath it. They steal the sash.
Rapunzel, Eugene, Frederic, Cassandra, Natalia, and Edmund go to Eugene's room. Red and green books and purple and white clothes are scattered on the floor. What happened? They wonder. The sash! Eugene realizes.
"The sash! It's gone!".
"Let's go find it, then," Edmund announces.
Frederic and Eugene give each other disappointed looks.
Eugene, Frederic, and Edmund are in the wilderness. Frederic sees Gothel from afar. Oh no, he thinks. He taps Eugene's shoulder. Oh no, he thinks.
"Edmund! Hide!" Eugene announces as he pulls them into the grass. Frederic jumps in the grass. "ThIs Is FaNtAstIc! First, Arianna, and now, flower lady's back!". I take it they are not friends. Edmund thinks.
"I take it you are not friends.".
"NOPE!".
Just then, Patchy and Sideburns come up. Eugene and Frederic punch them. Edmund kicks them. Eugene and Edmund high-five and Frederic pumps his fist. Eugene, Frederic, and Edmund get knocked out.
Rapunzel and Natalia sit at the fountain. Rapunzel pulls a golden coin out in Natalia's hair. Natalia claps. Catalina and Kiera run up. "We said the Stabbitons in the wilderness." Kiera announces. Oh, great, Rapunzel thinks as she stands.
Eugene, Frederic, and Edmund wake up in a gray stone cave near a wooden dam. "GrEat you got us trapped in a cave!" Eugene announces. They're tied up with rope. They wiggle. 'YoU DeFiNeTlY GeT fAtHeR oF tHe YeAr NoW!". Suddenly, they see the sash. The sash! They think. We can run apart. Eugene thinks.
"Run on three. One. Two. Three!" He announces. They run apart. The rope breaks. Eugene sees the sash. The sash! Eugene realizes. "The sash! We found it!". Eugene flips it. A white book with golden writing, a copper coin with Edmund's face, red dice with white dots, a small wooden horse, and a hand mirror falls out. He has been keeping tabs on me. "You have been keeping tabs on me!".
Edmund nods.
Rapunzel arrives. "Guys, are you in there?" She questions.
"YES," Eugene, Frederic, and Edmund call. She jumps on a red log in the dam and slides down. She loses her hair on the stone cave and pulls on the entrance. Eugene, Frederic, and Edmund jump on the log. Everything falls out of the sash and it falls off the cliff. No! Eugene thinks. He reaches down. "He's going to get hurt!" Edmund announces. Frederic grabs his shoulder. They slide down.
Rapunzel, Eugene, and Frederic sit on the floor of Eugene's room. Rapunzel is playing with the wooden horse. Eugene is playing with the mirror. Frederic is playing with the dice. Edmund comes in. They stand. Tell him we weren't playing. Eugene thinks.
"We weren't playing. We were reminiscing like adults do.". Eugene tells him. Edmund giggles.
"I had a new sash made for you." Edmund announces. He hands Eugene a white and gold sash with a golden sun symbol. "White and gold, just like the Flynn Rider books.". Eugene hugs him.
Arianna is in the evergreen forest at night, standing in front of a black rock. The black rock goes down. She visualizes. She holds out her arm. It shakes. "You will never be able to control the black rocks." Zan Tiri tells her from behind an evergreen.
