Warnings: Mummies
Summary: After discovering a map to a mythical treasure, Rapunzel believes that holding a race to claim it will be just the pick-me-up the people of Corona need.
Everyone is in the throne room. Rapunzel climbs on her hair which is tied to the ceiling as Eugene spots her. Cassandra and Lance hammer the wall with wooden hammers. Edmund and Frederic pick up one throne. They move it off the steps. Kiera is holding a wooden board as Natalia saws it with a saw with a red handle. Varian, who is now wearing an aquamarine shirt paints the wall yellow with a wooden paintbrush with black bristles with Catalina. White buckets of yellow paint are beneath them. Sara and Matthew sweep.
Natalia accidently saws the wall, knocking it over to reveal a brown, concrete wall with a treasure map carved into it.
"NiCe GoInG NaT!" Kiera tells her. She should be nice. Rapunzel thinks.
"Kiera, be nice to Natalia.". Rapunzel notices the map. We can have a treasure hunt!
"Hey, hey, hey! I know we're all upset about Mom not coming back and the Serpents of Saporia taking over and to take our minds off that, we can have a treasure hunt!". Everyone cheers.
Rapunzel goes to Eugene. Cassandra goes to Lance. Edmund, who has a raven on his shoulder, Hammul goes to Frederic. Kiera goes to Natalia. Varian goes to Catalina. Sara goes to Matthew.
Rapunzel and Eugene are in a meadow with trees. Eugene pulls out a dirty yellow map. He's cheating! Rapunzel thinks.
"That's cheating!" Rapunzel announces. It's using an unfair advantage. He thinks.
"Sunshine, this isn't cheating, it's using an unfair advantage." He replies. She rolls her eyes.
Cassandra and Lance are in the forest.
"So where do you want to check first? The forest, the meadow, or the beach?" He asks. It would be easiest to stay in the forest. Cassandra thinks.
"I think we'll stay in the forest.". He nods.
Frederic and Edmund walk along the beach.
"It will be on the beach! The treasures in the Flynn Rider books were always on the beaches!" He explains. Frederic nods.
Kiera stands on the back of Natalia's chair as they roll down a grassy hill. They scream in delight.
Varian and Catalina are in the hot air balloon in the sky. He has light blue wings. Varian imagines. "I'm free as a bird." Varian cries.
Sara paints a wagon. A puff of rainbow sparkles appears with rainbow sparkles. Matthew and her get in. They roll down a grassy hill.
Rapunzel and Eugene are by the river and oaks with orange leaves. Since we have the map, we might as well use it. Rapunzel thinks.
"Eugene, what does the map say?". He reads the map.
"Whoever shall find the treasure shall be turned to… banana?" He reads aloud. What? Rapunzel thinks. She just looks at him. That can not be right. He thinks.
"Whoever shall find the treasure shall be cursed." . We need to get there before the other people. She thinks.
"We need to get there before the others." She announces. How? He thinks.
"How?". They see a draft horse with white hair, a blonde mane, brown eyes, wearing a brown saddle and a golden sun medal, Maximus and a brown cydlestail with a black, braided mane wearing a brown, leather saddle, Fidella. Rapunzel gets on Fidella and Eugene gets on Maximus.
Fidella and Maximus race to a marble dome with a metal wheel handle and a grassy roof. The others follow. They dismount. They have a map! Kiera thinks.
"You cheated!". Yeah, the others think. They grumble. I better explain myself. Eugene thinks.
"Yes, I did cheat and I'm sorry. But, it was to save you! The map says that if you take the treasure, you will be cursed.".
"Oh," The others reply. Just then, Hammul flies on the handle and opens it. Thousands of tan skeletons dressed in white robes come out of the opened gray, stone vault.
Rapunzel grabs a cast iron frying pan from her dress and hits one on the skull. It falls apart. Eugene punches one. It falls apart. Cassandra stabs one with her sword. It falls apart. Lance kicks one. It falls apart. One approaches Sara. She waves the brown wooden paintbrush she is holding in front of her. A puff of rainbow sparkles appears and pushes it back. Catalina punches one. It falls apart. One grabs Kiera, and she drops to the ground and sweeps her legs under it, planting her hands under her for support. It falls apart. Frederic kicks one. It falls apart. Edmund grabs one by the arm and swings it. It falls apart.
Everyone is in the throne room. It now has round tables with lavender table cloths and gold chairs. The treasure hunt didn't go as planned, but it turned out well. Rapunzel thinks.
"The treasure hunt didn't go quite as I planned, but it all came together.".
"You know Sunshine, it all turned out well for everyone." They put their arms around each other.
