Yo Friends of fanfiction, I'm back, with a love day special. This is the third and last installment in "the wanna spend it with me/Breaking Free verse."

It was a normal lonely day in the library studying, that was until, A boy with messy black hair sat down in front on the boy with dark purple hair. "Yo." The new comer greeted. Paul briefly looked up and asked. "What do you want?" The Boy known as Ash shrugged. "What's it look like? studying." He peaked over to see what Paul's book said and pulled out his own history book. "Yeah. You're smart, so help us out." Another voice, this time feminine, sat down at his table. Paul let out a sigh seeing the cheerful girlfriend of Ash's. "Hello May." She gave him a energetic wave. "Hey!" She then gave Ash a kiss on the cheek.

The trio studied history for about an hour until, May, let out a groan. "Can we take a break?" She pleaded. "Sounds good to me." Her boyfriend leaned back in his chair, stretching his arm. Paul shook his head. "You were the ones that wanted to study!" Ash smirked. "Well for us to effectively learn, we need breaks." May nodded her head. "AND SNACKS!" She pulled out a candy bar and chowed down. "Oh yeah! Seeing candy reminded me." May talked with her mouth full, much to the boys dismay. "It's four days till valentines day." Ash's eyes went wide. "That's right!" His girlfriend shook her head. "You forgot..." Ash Just laughed a nervous laugh. "W-what about you Paul!" He looked to the other boy as a way to get away from the girls death glare. "I bet you have plans with that Dawn girl. Am I right?" He nudged Paul's arm. "Huh? Huh? Am I?" Paul blushed remembering what happen with the, in his humble opinion, blue hair angel.

May tilted her head in confusion. "Dawn girl?" Ash let out a small chuckle. "Paul's lover." He said as bluntly as possible. May gasped and turned a bit flush. "I-I didn't know you had someone Paul." The purple haired boy wanted, first to kill Ash, then the world to eat him. "She's not my 'lover'..." Ash was now the one confused. "But you two were all nude in bed." May looked at Ash in anger. "She was what?!" Ash, realizing his mistake, waved his hands all over trying to defend himself. "I-I didn't s-see anything! Promise!" Paul sighed at his roommate. He really was an idiot sometimes. After calming down his girlfriend he turned back to Paul. "So..." He began. "You two just 'did it' and that's it?!" The one of question looked down acting like the table was the coolest thing ever. "I... I just don't know what we are..." He answered truthfully. "Have you talked to her since?" May entered the fray, thinking she knew enough. "You know, A 'Hey!' In passing or we lock eyes! Then look away..." Paul explained, once again, truthfully. "Hmmmm" Ash hummed to himself in thought. "Well we have four day's till valentines day..." He stated looking Paul in eyes. "Y-yeah?" He was a little nervous because of the intense gaze.

"Four days till you ask Dawn to be your valentine!" May exclaimed clapping her hands together. They got kicked out of the library after that...

Day one!

Now the next day, the unorthodox trio was now sitting at a table for lunch. May was working on something and was unusually quiet. "Whatcha doing there, May?" Ash asked trying to sneak a peak at her project until he was promptly swatted away. "You don't need to know!" Paul smirked at the defeated Ash. The boy turned his interests away from his girlfriend to his buddy. "Paul, look over there." He motioned with his head to what he was talking about. Correction WHO he was talking about. Paul saw his blue haired angel holding a tray with food looking around, most likely, for a table. "Go invite her to sit with us." Ash whispered into his ear. Paul flinched. Was he ready for this? He asked himself. "Don't worry." Ash once more whispered sensing his uneasiness. "If you mess up just give me a thumbs down behind your back and I'll tag in. Alright?" Paul let out a sigh. "Okay..." He stood up and walked over to Dawn.

"H-hey there." Paul greeted, mentally cursing himself for stuttering. "Oh, Hi Paul." She gave him a warm smile that almost melted his heart. "What's up?" She asked, now staring at him in question. "Oh, Y-you know, do you want to sit on me? WITH ME!" He prayed that she didn't notice his slip up as he gave a thumbs down. But Ash just smirked at him. "I hate him! I really do!" He screamed in his head. She slightly laughed, she heard. "Sure... Where are you sitting?" Paul smiled. "She has such a cute laugh..." He thought. "Over there with my friends." He pointed to Ash, who was hiding his face, and May, who was waving her over. Dawn just followed Paul was he lead her over to the table.

Before Dawn could even fully sit down May grabbed her hand and shook it. "I'm May! It's great to meet you!" The blue haired girl was taken aback by the girl and she looked to Paul. His face said "You'll get used to it." Dawn cleared her throat and said. "My names Dawn, It's nice to meet you too." Paul noticed, thanks to her arm being stretched out, that her arms didn't have fresh cuts away more. That him happy so he smiled. Her gaze turned to the other boy who was still hiding. She slightly frowned. "You're the one who walk in on us..." Ash rubbed the back of his neck while laughing nervously. "I-I swear I didn't s-see anything..."

After introductions things actually went well. Dawn and May seem like they could be fast friends, both having an interest in fashion. It was little awkward between Ash and Dawn but they both agreed to hopefully forget their unsightly first meeting. Paul and Dawn were able to easily talk to each other. Why didn't they talk sooner was what the two of them thought. They didn't bring up what they did but if it came up neither Paul nor Dawn backed away from the fact of it.

Day one was a success!

Day two!

Paul was just walking in the hallway, minding his own business, until a arm wrapped around his neck. "Yo, Paul. Where you headed?" Asked Ash hanging off Paul's shoulder. "Library." He replied unfazed by his friend. "Good!" Paul looked at him in confusion. "Good?" Ash was now looking away. "Yeah. What's good about the library?" May asked walking up to the two boys. Ash let go of Paul and they all just made their way to the place of books and study. "Well... I happen to know Dawn will be there today." Ash revealed with a smirk. "How do you know that?" May asked resting her head on his shoulder. "Well... I asked around... And found out she would be there today." Paul sighed. "He stalked her..."

"WHAT!?" May yelled looking Ash dead in the eye. "I did not!" He looked to Paul. "Why would you even say that?!" Now it was Paul's turn to smirk. "I wouldn't be the first time." Ash blushed thinking of the days you would follow May around. "S-SHUT UP!"

The trio was now in the Library and Ash was franticly looking around. "She should be here..." He mumbled. His eyes lit up when he spotted her sitting down, with books in hand. "There she is! Let's go." Ash practically dragged Paul over to her.

"Hey there!" Ash greeted with a smile. She looked up and returned his smile with her own. "Hi." She waved to May behind the boys and she she waved back. The three sat down with her. "What are you studying?" Paul Asked. "History." He shrugged. "I already did that." Ash leaped in to help. "Then, how bout you help her?" Dawn face lit up. "Can you? I suck at history." Ash smirk at May, who was sucked into what ever she was working on.

Day two was a success!

Day three!

Paul and the others were sitting eating lunch until... "C-can I sit with you...?" The three looked up from their meals to see Dawn with her own food. Paul smiled at her. "Of course, please, sit." He gestured to the seat next to him. Her face lit up and gladly sat down. "Thank you!" Ash leaned over to his girlfriend, who was still working on something, and whispered into her ear. "I don't think I'm needed anymore..." May lightly giggled. "Maybe not..."

The four all talked about varying topics until May let out a tiny groan. "Need something?" Ash asked. "Yep. I'm would like a drink and I'd bet Dawn would to." She winked at Dawn. "So you and Paul should go fetch some." Paul frowned. "Why me?" Ash walked over and patted him on the shoulder. "Just go along with it..." So the two walked away on a quest for drinks.

"Why did you do that?" Dawn asked with a head tilt. May laughed. "To get them away." The blue haired girl was now a little scared. "W-why?" May looked at the girl with a warm gaze. "What do you think of Paul?" Dawn turned into a strawberry. "W-what?!" A laugh was heard. "Well do you like him in anyway?" Dawn looked away. "Of course I do..." She mumbled. May nodded her head. "That's all I needed to know!"

Day three. Mission complete!

Valentines Day!

School was over for the day and Paul rushed to his dorm and put on a nice suit and picked up some flowers then rushed back before Dawn left. "Well. You ready?" Ash asked. "No. But yes." May laughed. "That sounds about right." She looked him up and down. "This is a little much." She looked to Ash. "Right?" Ash nodded. "Maybe lose the suit coat?" Paul nodded. He did wear this to his brothers wedding. So, maybe, it is to much. With the coat gone. May did another once over. "Maybe unbutton the top buttons?" Paul nodded once more. "And now?" He slightly posed. May smile and Ash nodded. "Perfect!" They both said.

Before Paul walked up to Dawn. May slipped something into Paul's hand. "What's this?" He asked. "Just give it to her on the date." She said with smile. "Kay?" She winked. "R-right..."

"Do you think it's gonna go well?" Ash Asked. "Of course! They're meant for each other!"

Dawn was sitting under a tree in full bloom reading a book. "Hey!" Paul called out, thanking any god he could for he did not stutter! She turned and waved with a smile. "Hi!" Paul breathed in and out. "Would you like to go on a date with me?" He pushed the flowers into her maybe a little to much. Dawn blushed but smiled and took the flowers. "YES!"

Ash and May were now at the Maple house and it was empty. "Huh..." Ash looked around. "What?" May asked. "I thought you were working on something for our valentines day." He admitted. May let out a laugh. "Oh no! Sorry." She smirk. "So what did you get me then?" He asked. "N-not that you HAD to..." He blushed in embarrassment. "I did." She nodded her head. "Okay. What?" She batted her eye lashes "Me." She bluntly said. "Huh?... HUH!?" Before long May jump onto Ash and that was that.

Paul was nervous he and Dawn were at a nice place eating a nice dinner. So far it was going well, he thinks, she's smiling, laughing and it seems she's having a good time. Of course he is too! He looked to his side to see the heart shaped box May him. "Maybe now?" He thought grabbing it. "Is something wrong?" Dawn asked looking at him with eyes full of life. They weren't those dead eyes he saw on Christmas. "I want you to have this." He passed the box over the table. Dawn eyed it but open it and gasped. "It's... Amazing!" Paul was confuse and looked over to see a big slab a chocolate with. "Will you be my valentine?" Written on it. Paul was to in shock. "May..." He mumble and smile. He'll have to thank her later.

Valentines day? Success!
