Be My Valentine.

It was yet another fairly mundane day in South Park Elementary, with many students going about their day like they usually would've and seemingly giving zero fucks about what day it was.

However, that would've been expected if it had been any other day, but since today also happened to be Valentine's Day, it meant that quite a lot of students had been actually losing their minds over how to approach their crush and not make a complete fool out of themselves in the process.

Stan Marsh was definitely one of those people who belonged in the second category, often having trouble with talking to his girlfriend without getting nauseated in the process and unfortunately expelling the contents of his stomach on her or near her in some frankly disgusting way, shape or form.

The dark haired boy was currently standing near his own locker, gulping nervously and trying his hardest to ignore the queasiness that had been unfortunately bubbling inside his stomach ever since he had laid his eyes on Wendy. The bright red color of his cheeks also didn't seem to make things much easier for him.

''Dude, what are you waiting for?'', Kyle spoke up.

''Dude, it's Wendy.''

''So? You two have been together for like forever.''

''I know, I know, but today is Valentine's Day and I've wanted to surprise her with something sweet.'', Stan revealed.

''With what?'', Kyle teased. ''Not vomit on her the minute she says hi?''

''Hey, I've gotten much better at handling my vomit whenever she's around, but it does come up every now and then!'', the dark haired boy retorted, the tone in his voice becoming noticeably softer. ''I just hope it doesn't happen today though.''

''Well in that case, good luck!'', Kyle said as he patted his super best friend on the back and gave him a supportive thumbs up, eventually walking over to his own locker and grabbing whatever books he needed for their next class.

Shooting his best friend a thumbs up in return and making his way across the hall towards his girlfriend, Stan could already feel himself growing even more nervous the closer he got to Wendy. He awkwardly tried to conceal the rose he had bought for her, opting to hide it behind his back for the time being.

''H-hi Wendy!''

The girl in question turned around on the spot almost instantly, shutting her locker and allowing her lips to wriggle into a cute smile as her boyfriend appeared right in front of her.

''Hi Staan!'', she chirped.

''So, what's up?'', Stan asked, scratching the back of his neck nervously and opting to look anywhere else but into Wendy's chocolate brown eyes. ''You know, there haven't been a lot of chances to talk to you today…''

''Yeah, I know!'', Wendy groaned disappointedly. ''I'm so sorry about that, but girls dragged me to hang out with them during the recess and Tweek later asked me to help him out with picking a Valentine's Day gift for Craig.''

''No, no, it's okay.'', he smiled, feeling a bit more confident now. ''Those are your best friends and I would honestly be the last person to give you shit for hanging out with them.''

''That's really nice to hear from you Stan.''

Simply shrugging his shoulders in response, Stan then remembered the real reason why he had even decided to walk over to his raven haired counterpart in the first place.

''Uhm Wends, I got you something for Valentine's Day.'', Stan said as he handed over a beautiful red rose to his girlfriend, making her nearly squeal in excitement.

''Aww, Stan!'', Wendy replied, her cheeks now starting to match the color of a decorative pom pom Stan had on his hat.

Feeling eager than ever to show him just how much this simple romantic gesture meant to her, the noirette stepped forward and wrapped both arms firmly around Stan's neck, pressing her lips against his and letting out a tiny giggle as she felt him reciprocating the kiss just as eagerly and devotedly.
