Near the Dragon Realm, a miniature castle resided in the Ghost Zone. Not as big as some castles seen all over Earth, yet still as grand. It even had a well-kept garden with a small pond within the courtyard.

Inside the castle, a pretty blond princess ghost was overseeing several people setting up the dining room. She looked a bit exhausted, which wasn't surprising for Dora. She'd suffered years of abuse from her older brother Aragon and her special amulet drained her every time she transformed into a dragon.

The young medieval maiden took a moment to put up her feet. Then she heard a kind voice say, "K2 for your thoughts?" the princess turned to face two female half-ghosts. Magdalene Masters and her best friend, Leta.

Mag's entire family were hybrids. Her best friend, Leta, had been transformed into a half-ghost by the Ancient of Magic, Enchantra, to serve her purpose as her apprentice better. Dora smiled to see her friends.

"Good day, my lovely ladies. What brings you here to my charming castle?" she asked politely.

"Well, we figured you could use some help preparing for Dora's School for Charming Ladies and Gentlemen fundraiser ball. Considering how far human society fell apart from lack of manners and so much craziness?

Your charming school would do wonders for both ghosts and human teens. So they can become proper ladies and gentlemen. So that society could progress instead of regressing," Mag informed the princess.

"I also loved to help set up for the fundraising ball. I, too, feel both realms could use a refresher course on how to be respectful and well-mannered members of society." Leta added.

"Well, I'm very thankful you don't find charm schools a thing of the past. I've been running this charm school for the past two decades. But, unfortunately, it's not easy to escape my brother's abuse.

But once I was finally able to stand up to him? I'd my own private castle built. My dream is to help all individuals become the best they can be. Also, like yourselves? We can teach this generation to regain what has been lost. We want people to know respect, manners, and how to treat people like equals."

"Well, Vlad and I think anything that prevents people from engaging in violence or other self-destructive behavior is critical."

"Yes, you've seen how much violence and hate rages worldwide. I mean, the Ghost Zone news channel always has a portion dedicated to the troubles of Earth," Leta pointed out.

"Yes, so why don't we have some tea first? Then we can work together to prepare for the charity ball."

"Sounds like a splendid idea," Mag replied graciously. So Dora brought out her finest tea set so they could chitchat. It appeared the three ladies knew how to behave appropriately. None of them interrupted the other. Instead, they kept eye contact and enunciated their words. Plus, they all talked a little about themselves.

"So please tell us, Dora? What have the children been learning this week?" Mag inquired. After all, her three children attended the school.

"Well, first off, I'm extremely thankful all middle and high school students agreed to attend classes. Second, I hope we've raised enough funds to keep the school running by the time of the charity ball."

"We both are hopeful as well. So again, how are my children progressing?"

"This week's lessons covered proper posture and conversation. A majority of the students are progressing well when it comes to their posture. However, I do have some problems with one student."

"Which student is that?" Leta asked curiously.

Dora took a deep breath before answering. "As you know, this year's ball consists of more then ghost children. We also are allowing those with Ghost Genes and the few trustworthy humans.

The one I'm having problems with is the human girl named Sam Manson. She's refusing to follow any rules. Instead, she seems determined to undermine everything to be an individual. Everyone has been trying to correct her inappropriate behavior. Even Discord's son Draven has been attempting to get his girlfriend to behave."

"We're both familiar with the girl. Since her parents work alongside my husband and me. However, I've noticed her rude, hypocritical, and toxic behavior for years. She claims she wants to be an individual.

However, she knows how inappropriate her behavior is. She continues with it to spite people, showing she gets pleasure from it. By being a problem child to get a rise out of others," Mag expressed her thoughts.

"I understand some children and their parents have conflicting personalities. But even I agree this young lady goes out of her way to cause problems. I rather not see her destroy your hard work because she wants to continue her toxic behavior," Leta answered.

"I do agree with both of you. I've been thinking of removing her permanently from school. Including uninviting her from the ball. I won't stand for that type of behavior."

"Truthfully? I strongly believe Sam has some mental issues that she needs to work out in therapy. I hope my children aren't misbehaving in your class," Mag remarked.

"Oh, they're among my best students. Danny has made tremendous progress since the start of the semester. He's truly becoming an extraordinary gentleman. During yesterday's class, he had the best posture. Jazz needs to work on conversation topics slightly. Also, learning to speak with a bit more feelings. Otherwise, she's doing quite well. As for Danielle? The only thing she needs help with is proper table manners. Other then that, she's perfect."

"Well, Vlad will be thrilled to hear that," Mag replied happily.

"Anything else we should know?" Leta wanted to know.

"Well, if you could provide some accessories to go with their formal clothes, I'd appreciate that. It will be hard enough for the children to finalize formal attire. However, free accessories would certainly be welcomed. If that's not too much trouble.'

"I'd be happy to help our charming young ladies and gentlemen accessorize for their big night. I'll even provide you with some extra candles and a few other decorations to help enhance the atmosphere."

"Yes, Vlad and I will even help with the food. If some people can't afford formal attire, we'll pay for them. No one should have their night at the ball ruined."

Dora smiled. "I greatly appreciate all you're doing to help this school continue giving students an alternative from more destructive distractions of life. Anything to help this generation to provide the next with a more respectful and kindhearted life."

"We'll all be looking our best. So shall we get things prepared?" Mag replied, to which Dora nodded. So the three ladies hoped for a very successful charity ball.
