Chapter 5: Mall Outbreak
A few days later, a blond-haired pop idol Ren-Ren is doing a show at the Kanto Regional Mall Complex with fans cheering for her on stage. A cute 21-year-old Ren-Ren wearing a pink frilly dress is surrounded by her adoring fans. "The sweetness of the heavens. I love you, Ren-Ren," a male fan said as Ren-Ren sported a cutesy smile to melt his heart.
"Thank you, sir. I am very grateful you like my music. Remember everyone I am doing a charity concert in Vermillion City within a week. I hope you support me along with my employer Lex Media. With your help, we will make the Pokemon world a better place to live. After we deal with the bad guys of course," Ren-Ren gives her fans a cute little wink as the crowds go wild.
"We love you, Ren-Ren," a female fan shouted.
"I know, I know. I need to go," Ren-Ren said as she speeds through the crowd to go into her dressing room. She lets out a fat sigh along with her fake happy smile disappearing. "Gee, good grief. I am finally away from those losers," Ren-Ren said as she turns on the TV screen to contact her boss Maddy.
"So how did the meet and greet go?" Maddy asked to broadcast herself on the screen.
"It's all coming together boss, they are eating my words out of my hands like the degenerates they are," Ren-Ren feels dirty from being around so many desperate men.
"Well, they can sell their lungs if a pretty face tells them to do it," Maddy said as she can feel her profits soaring from her number one pop idol to help sell his products.
"I know right, show them a pretty fantasy wife, and they each drop 50,000 Poke dollars per order. It's insane how crazy these weirdos are. So how are operations going right now?" she asked.
"Perfectly, the whole region is on edge after that attack on the Pokemon Regional HQ building and the death of Sabrina. Our partners are working their magic," Maddy said.
"Yep, yep. Dealing with Cipher and working with them to make a new world would be good on our end," Ren-Ren said.
"Yes, I know the grandmaster is quite the visionary and his new world is quite promising. We will be the leaders in molding the mass with my deep pockets in the entrainment industries," Maddy said.
"Indeed, I and the girls will be there to aid along the way," Ren-Ren said.
"Of course. You and Star Girls are my tips of the spear in twisting this world with your voices to our own devices," Maddy said as she cuts off the screen to speak with Lovrina. "Hello, my friend," Maddy said as the pink-haired woman is on the screen to greet her.
"Hey there Maddy, good job drumming up the media with our performance," Lovrina said as she looks upon a woman in her mid-30s and standing quite tall and thin like a model. She is wearing a red business suit which goes well against her fair skin tone, bright green eyes, and long dark hair.
"My pleasure, our relationship with Cipher is going to be quite fruitful," Maddy said with a naughty smile on her face.
Elsewhere the group of Michael, Leaf, Lyra, and Kendra all went to the Regional Mall Complex to relax to see digital billboards of Ren-Ren and the Star Girls all over them. Leaf wants to gag at the sight of them. "I hate these girls," Leaf said as Kendra nods her head in agreement.
"They are not my style in terms of music. Too loud and bright," Kendra said.
"What do you like," Lyra asked.
"More calm and soothing type music or more experimental stuff like gothic rock," Kendra said.
"Gothic rock, too dark for my taste," Lyra said.
"I like one of the Star Girls. Melody," Michael said as Kendra looks at one of the Star Girls Melody to see she has a curvy figure with big booty and large breasts.
"I can see why you would like her," Kendra said as Mike grabs onto her hand.
"But I like you way more and you are curvier too," Mike said giving her a big wink with Kendra's face glowing red.
"Gee, thank you," she said.
"Okay lovebirds, we got a bunch of stuff to do here. Let's enjoy ourselves," Leaf said as the four go down the hallways to see crowds of people wanting to get to the concert taking place in the main lobby.
"The place is getting quite packed," Kendra said as she got close to Mike.
"Are you feeling uncomfortable?" he asked as she shakes her head.
"A bit, it feels so excitable," Kendra can feel all the people only have one thing on their minds which is Ren-Ren. "I don't get out there often, especially to places like this," Kendra said.
"Don't worry, we are here," Michael said as Kendra nods her head.
"Thank you," Kendra said as they see a spooky shop. "Oh my, that looks interesting," Kendra goes up to the shop to see all sorts of gothic and horror-based items she is deeply interested in.
"You two enjoy, we can meet up later," Leaf said as Mike heads over to see Kendra interested in a plush of Mimikyu.
"Oh, it's so cute, always wants to be loved despite looking odd. I can relate to that," Kendra said as she presses the creepy doll against her ample bosom to hold it tight.
"Speaking of cute, looking good Hexy," he flirted for she is sporting a blue top, a black knee-length skirt, and brown boots along with her thick long hair tied in a high ponytail.
"Thanks, you look nice too," Kendra said as he is wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and red sneakers.
"Anything for my favorite girl," Michael said as she smiles at him to kiss him on the cheek.
"Such a sweetheart, I am going to reward you for being so nice to me," Kendra said as she has a big blush on her face.
"Can't wait for that," Mike said with Kendra's mind flushed with lewd thought.
"Goodness, I want to ride him so badly," she thought as she has a pervy image of her fucking him while Mike is lying on his back in her bed taking all the love she can give him. She snaps out of her lewd mindset to continue looking for some interesting items for her to buy.
"Look at this, very interesting," Kendra saw a book called haunted legends of the seas.
"Abandoned ships?" he asked.
"Yeah, there are all sorts of sightings of ships just floating in the middle of the ocean and no one is left on board. Without a trace in sight," Kendra said as she adores these scary mysteries.
"Sounds exciting but I rather avoid it," Michael said as an older woman appears.
"Hello there, enjoying our spooky selection?" the woman asked.
"Oh yes, this place is very lovely," Kendra said.
"It got some interesting things here," Michael said as there are more items to be looked out for.
"Well seems like you two are a lovely couple. I got some things that would draw up the juices of love," the shopkeeper said as Kendra is intrigued by this.
"Oh really?" she asked as the shopkeeper pulls out some candles which has strong smells.
"These quite good in giving in the primal urges of the couple to awaken their inner beasts in the bedroom," the shopkeeper said as the couple blushed at this.
"Oh my, that sounds interesting," Kendra said as she makes a note of this for later.
"How about this for the special lady," the shopkeeper shows off a black corset with deep blue trimmings.
"Is that lingerie?" Mike asked as he can imagine Hexy's huge knockers showing a lot of cleavage in that while fitting her beautifully shaped waistline.
"Yep, knowing how big her sweater puppies are. These will show off the goodie bags, she will make all the women around her envious of her figure," the shopkeeper said.
"I will consider it, it looks very cute," Kendra said.
"Yeah it would look cute on you," Mike said as Kendra notes in her mind he seems to like the idea.
"We can search the place on our own. It's more fun that way," Kendra said.
"Alright, hope you lovebird find something you like," the shopkeeper said as the couple looks over the items to see a woman in the shop having a shirt of the Kalos Champion Diantha.
"Hey that is the Kalos Champion," Michael said.
"Yes I heard she is pretty strong along with her powerful Gardevoir," Kendra said as Mike is not impressed with this.
"I have seen Lily in action and she is tough herself," Mike said.
"Thank you but hers can use Mega Evolution," Kendra said.
"We can fix that; Leaf has ordered Mega Stones for us. One for Gallade and one for Lily. Should be here in a few days," Mike said.
"Oh, that would be a big boost to our firepower against Cipher," Kendra said.
"Even figuring in the Hybrid Forms, making them even more powerful than before. Can't wait to try it out," Mike said.
"I heard that Champion is getting quite comfortable with a woman named Maddy," Kendra said.
"She is the owner of Lex Media. The biggest media company in the world and they are connected to some very shady people," Kendra said.
"Yeah, but with all the money they have. Those dealings can pretty quiet fast. Cipher is known to run deep within government agencies just like they did in Orre where they ruled over it in the shadows," Mike said.
"Do you think Lex Media and Cipher are connected?" Kendra asked.
"Cipher goes where all the power lies, common knowledge on that one. Big maybe," Mike said as they kept on looking at some nice items.
Elsewhere Leaf and Lyra go through a sporting goods shop to look over some gear for their Pokemon and themselves. "Gee there are posters of Ren-Ren everywhere," Lyra said as she looks at the tons of images of the blond-haired pop idol scattered across the walls all over the sporting goods store.
"It's very annoying, she is so full of herself," Leaf said as Lyra pulls out her phone.
"Speaking of which, one of the Champions Diantha made a statement earlier in the day," Lyra said as she brings up the video for Leaf is not pleased to see her.
"Everyone remain calm, all the Champions will get involved since Cipher is a global threat. We need to work together to defeat this menace and bring peace back to our world," Diantha said as her powerful Gardevoir is standing before her.
"I don't trust her," Leaf said as she is wary of her fellow Champion.
"Why because of her connection to Maddy?" Lyra asked.
"Yes, Maddy is the mistress of spin doctoring. Anything to drum up a story to make some money and she put Diantha on the map in terms of her actress career and giving her the funds to become Pokemon Champion. Maddy owns her life and in part, she will do as she is told," Leaf said.
"Well, we should be extra careful," Lyra said as she looks over the sports bras she can pick. "Damn I need some of these. I need some support from all the stuff we would be doing," Lyra said.
"Like there is much to support," Leaf said as she jokes about her modest chest size.
"Oh, you bitch," Lyra said as Leaf laughed at her with Lyra laughed with her.
"Yeah but you are going to need it with all the crazy shit we are going into," Leaf said.
"Yep, I and my Pokemon are ready to battle some bad guys," Lyra said as Leaf's stomach is growling.
"Oh boy, I am hungry," Leaf said as Lyra nods her head.
"Me too. Come on, let's get some things and head for the food court," Lyra said as they pay their stuff to be shipped to the mansion later to head for the food court.
They hear the loud music filling out the mall's hallways to see a huge crowd around a stage to see Ren-Ren singing through a mic wearing a silly pink dress to dance her heart out. "Ren-Ren dancing in front of her sick fans," Leaf said.
"Yeah, let's get out of here," Lyra said as Ren-Ren spots the Kanto Pokemon Champion Leaf walking nearby.
"Oh, perfect the Pokemon Champion is here. I can get rid of her and this dump in one fatal swoop," Ren-Ren thought as she finishes up her concert to get away as fast as possible. "Finally, I can put my plan into action," Ren-Ren gets off the stage to head for the security section of the mall.
She opens the door to see a few guards there. "Wait a minute, you can't be here," the guard said as Ren-Ren pulls out a suppressed pistol to put a bullet through his head and clipped the others in the head as well.
"That's out of the way," Ren-Ren summons a Shadow Rotom to possess the server gaining access to it. "The plan is to let Rotom activate the security gates to lock everyone inside while triggering the generator to overheat and explode killing everyone inside the mall. It's perfect," Ren-Ren said as she leaves the control room with all the guards lying dead on the floor.
"Goodbye Leaf, hope your big head doesn't hit you on your way to the afterlife along with your friends," Ren-Ren said as the Rotom is beginning to overload the generator within the whole building while Ren-Ren makes her escape.
Back with Leaf and Lyra heading for the food court to see the couple eating a meal together. "You began eating already," Lyra said as both are sharing chill cheese fries along with garlic chicken bites.
"Yep, we were hungry," Mike said.
"Sorry," Kendra said.
"It's okay, we can get our food and eat with you," Lyra said as the two women went to the food court to grab some pizza to join the couple. "Did you see the status report from Diantha?" she asked Kendra and Michael.
"No, I haven't seen it yet," Mike said.
"I check it out, she seems so on edge," Kendra said.
"Yeah, she is a tool for Maddie. I don't put much stock in her being reliable against Cipher," Leaf said as Mike looks over to see a defense drone hovering towards a man. It arms its machine gun to shoot at him and this shocked the group.
"What the hell?" Michael questioned as the drone opens fire on the crowd in the food court. He flips over the table to let the girls get behind it to block the incoming bullets.
"This is nuts, the drones are compromised," Lyra said.
"No kidding," Kendra tosses a poke ball to summon Gengar as her Ghost Pokemon goes in to strike down the drone to destroy it. Several more drones appear with Gengar unleashing orbs of ghastly energy to seek and destroy them.
"We are going to need to head for the server room to shut this down," Leaf said as Michael summons his Mandy aka Vapereon to aid Gengar. She uses ice Beam to turn the drones into blocks of ice with Gengar smashing them to pieces.
"Warning, warning. The generator is overloading, systems are unlocked unable to cool down. The generator will overload soon, go to the server room to enable cool down," the computer voice on the speakers said as everyone panicked trying to escape but the blast doors keep them inside.
"Seems like the blast doors are closed blocking our escape," Kendra said as she feels the terror within the people here.
"This is Cipher all over it," Mike said as they go over to the server room for the hallway is covered in flying drones firing their stun blasts and bullets. Kendra catches the projectiles to knock them to the side. Michael hits the fire alarm to activate the water sprinklers on the ceilings to cover the hallway with water.
"Gee, I am all wet now," Lyra said as they are all soaked in the water to deal with it as they fight off the flying drones.
Mandy is using Acid Armor to merge with the water on the floor to avoid getting hit with bullets or stun rounds. The Vapereon uses Aqua Jet to rocket off using the power of a water jet to tackle through groupings of enemies to slam them to pieces.
Lyra uses her Primarina uses Aqua Ring to cast an aura of water around her to take a hit from a bullet to the arm but the watery aura along with the water around her heals her wound instantly.
"Use Hyper Voice," Lyra said as the seal mermaid unleashed a powerful shout to knock down all the drones in the hallways. Kendra grabs a drone with her mind to slam it into a wall to get close to the server room.
Then a huge robot appears to block their path for they noticed a Rotom to possess the robot to empower it. "So, a Shadow Rotom is the cause of this mess," Kendra said sensing the dark aura around the possessed Riot Drone equipped with arm-mounted launchers to lob stun grenades to flinch Vapereon and Primarina. Then unleashing a powerful orb of thunder to strike them down.
Gengar leashes out with several Shadow Balls to slam into the mech to do some damage. Rotom uses Thunderbolt to zap Gengar to knock him back but still presses the attack. Vapereon is out but Primarina's Aqua Ring manages to heal her lightning damage to resume the assault.
Leaf tosses out Lucario to aid Gengar as the Rotom disables the water sprinklers to stop them from spreading water. Gengar cast Will-o-Wisp to burn parts of the robot to hit it with Hex to do double damage. Lucario shoves an Aura Sphere into the robot to launch it into a wall.
The mech is destroyed to force the Rotom out who is weakened by the attacks before. Michael prepares the Snag ball to take the Rotom and capture it. Leaf goes into the server room to press the reset button to stop Cipher's plans from blowing up the mall and killing a ton of people.
"Well, that was nuts," Michael said as the blast doors open up for the people to run out of there. The police managed to close off the mall with Michael and the girls leaving the area with a Shadow Pokemon being sent to Professor Swan to be purified.
"Good, another one for the road," Swan said as a guest of his shows up. "Oh perfect timing, did you get the compass from the museum?" he asked.
"Yes, the Onyx Compass is intact. Better keep it close, I don't trust the higher ones, they are plants from Cipher," the woman said.
"Yes indeed Anabel. We are in trying times, you and your team will be useful to us," Professor Swan said as the tall purple haired woman wearing a black sleek business suit.
"Yes, this partnership will be most fruitful indeed," Anabel said as she goes away to meet back with her team to look at the situation
