I don't own Naruto, if I did, Naruto would not be so dumb, Sasuke's character would make more sense, Sakura wouldn't be so annoying, Hinata would be badass and Shino would be awesome, but I don't, that right belongs to Kishimoto.
unto the story
Sarutobi Hiruzen was sitting in his office, trying to focus on the pile of paperwork on his desk, but his mind was on other matters, his surrogate grandson, Naruto, had yet to wake up from his pain induced coma, it had been three days since the alley incident and all they had gotten from him was a spike in his heart beat and a slight chakra leakage a day before, apart from that nothing else,
he had order the doctors to report immediately to him if there was a slight change in his condition.
His musings was disturbed by a crash through the window, he didn't react to the action that just happened.
"Jiraya, you will have to start paying for the destruction you cause to my office" he said in a monotone,
" o come on, I was just checking to see if your security was lacking" Jiraya said with a large smile on his face,
" that has to be the saddest excuse I have ever heard" Hiruzen replied, still not looking at his perverted student,
" yeah, yeah. Anyway, what was so important that I had to drop my research and come"he said.
Finally Hiruzen looked at his student and handed him a file, Jiraya took it and skimmed through it, he read it a few more times, his face hardened the more read it.
"I see why you called me"Jiraya said, trying to calm his anger, " but still putting the boy in ANBU, isn't that a bit drastic?" He asked,
" what would you have me do? Hand him over to Danzo?" Hiruzen shot back,
" no, of course not, but has too be another way".
" There is no other way, you should be happy, after all you were always vocal about my decision to put Naruto in the orphanage."
"Yeah, but I didn't mean put him in ANBU."
"Listen Jiraya, I love Naruto, but I just can't let a situation like this to repeat itself, it would be dangerous for both Naruto and everyone involved. As much as I hate it he needs to learn to at least stop the kyuubi from influencing him and there is no safer place to learn than ANBU" Both teacher and student stared at each other for a while. Finally Jiraya sighed in frustration
" Fine, but I will need to check on his seal first."
"That you will".
Before Jiraya could ask more about Naruto's training, an ANBU agent with a tiger mask appeared in the office, " Hokage-sama, Naruto is showing sign of awakening",
" thank you for the information Tenzo, you may return to your post I will be there soon." "Hai Hokage-sama" Tenzo said shushined out off the office.
Facing his student, he said
" it seems like it's time you meet your godson"
" that it does".
Naruto slowly woke up feeling dizzy and groggy, "Good to see you're waking up, had me a little worried there".
Naruto turned to look at the person that had spoken, and discovered that it was the old man,
" Hey old man, how long have I been out, hope it wasn't too long because you look like you've aged ten years " Naruto said with a small smile on his face.
He then heard laughter coming from the other side of the room, the person that had laughed was a tall man with a large,
he wore a pale green kimmono with matching gloves, fish net undergarments, a red jacket with yellow spots over the pecs and red geta,he had long white hair and red tear like marks on his face that went all the way to his jaws.
"You've got spunk kid"Jiraiya said with a large grin.
Naruto raised an eyebrow at him then asked " and you are?" .
Jiraiya smiled and was about to do his gallant introduction, but a look from his former sensei stopped him, plus the room was too small to fit his summons, so he calmly answered,
" the name is Jiraiya kid, one of the sannins, and former student of the old man".
"Sannins?, What's that" Naruto asked,
Jiraiya's eyes twitched at that, he was about to say something, but Hiruzen cut him off.
"We will talk about that later" he said, making Naruto face him, " how are you doing" he asked.
Naruto faced the bed, his trade mark smirk gone, showing a face he rarely let out, a broken face, a look that did not have a place a child's face.
"I... I'm not sure" Naruto replied, looking at his hands,
" I remember everything, I remember the look on their face when I attacked them, and I ... I remember enjoying the feel of blood on my hands" he paused, taking a breath before continuing.
" I know it was self defense, but still I ... I don't know, I don't know" Naruto said his hands shaking.
Naruto felt someone hold his hand, he looked up to see the old man there a gentle, calming look in his face,
" Naruto, what you did was out of your control, if you didn't kill them they would have killed you, it doesn't make you like them, they wanted to kill you because of a misplaced anger, you only did what you had too to survive, the fact that you feel guilt shows that you are more human then they were" Hiruzen said,
Naruto nodded his head not looking convinced, but at least he had calmed down.
"Now, we need to talk about the cause of you actions" Hiruzen said,
" you mean, the kyuubi don't you" said Naruto,
Hiruzen didn't look shocked " you met it didn't you?".
FLASHBACK
The sound of water dripping, filtered into Naruto's ear. Slowly he opened his eyes to find out he was in a sewer, he slowly stood up and with effort walked through the sewer. He finally came to a spot where the floor was flooded with water and at the end were huge gate bars, on one of the bars was a paper with the word seal on it.
Naruto could feel a powerful dark aura coming from behind the cage, and before he could move, a demonic voice spoke. "Look who has finally decided to grace me with his presence"
" Who are you ?" Asked Naruto, he then saw a large red vulpine eye open, and the amount of malice and hatred in that one eye was staggering. "Now that's just hurtful,you of all people should know who I am" the voice said as it stood up, reveling a gigantic fox with nine tails.
"Kyuubi no Kitsune" Naruto said in realization, after a few minutes, Naruto laid down on the ground and closed his eyes, kyuubi was put off by this action,
" hey gaki, what the hell are you doing?" He asked,
"waiting "he replied
"waiting, for what",
"waiting for death" he replied
"excuse me?", The kyuubi asked,
"well since you just revealed that you are the kyuubi, it means that I'm either dead or dying, since everyone knows the Yondaime Hokage killed you" Naruto answered in a non caring attitude.
It took a few seconds for the kyuubi to understand everything the boy had said, when he did he growled in anger, "listen gaki, your Yondaime might have been strong, but he did not have the strength to finish me, instead he had to seal me inside you. The only good thing that happened that day was the fact that I got to kill him and your annoying mother" he barked.
On hearing that Naruto's eyes shot open and he stared at the fox,
"You... You knew my mother" he asked. "More than I wish"kyuubi growled,
" for twelve years, twelve years, I was imprisoned in her, for twelve years, I was used like a fucking battery, for twelve years, I was locked in her. But that changed, that changed when I was forced out of her, I finally got my revenge on her and her blond dumb lover",
kyuubi said as he laughed a sinister bark like laughter,
"You.. you killed them?"Naruto asked in shock.
Kyuubi smirked at this, "yes, yes I did and with just a finger nail"kyuubi said smiling at the anger growing in Naruto's eyes,
" two of the most feared Shinobis konoha had produced and they died by my nail, through both their stomachs as they tried to protect you" he said,his laughter growing,
"both of them skewered to protect you a useless brat, in her dying moment, your mother wasted her last breath giving you useless advice that you would not even remember, both of them, yes the feel of their pulse fading as they slowly died wasting their lives, to protect a useless gaki, your mother and your fucking Yondaime dead by my hands, both of them..."
His ranting was cut shut by an angry Naruto, "shut up!!!" He shouted in anger, waving his hands, which caused a tsunami to knock into the fox.
Naruto was shocked by what had happened, his shock didn't last as kyuubi rammed into the gate,
"I'm going to kill you" he roared,
" I'm going to fucking kill you like I did your parents, when this seal weakens am going to fucking kill you!!" Kyuubi roared as everything went black.
FLASHBACK END
Both elders looked grim, as they stared at Naruto, who had his head down, a lone tear rolling down his cheeks. Hiruzen sat on down on the bed, embraced Naruto and immediately he started crying, the reason for the tears unknown to him.
After a few minutes he calmed down, Hiruzen raised Naruto's head to face him, " Naruto I want you to know that even if you have a demon placed in you, you are not one and my successor and your mother didn't waste they lives, they believed in you and passed their will of fire unto you, they had trust in you, that's why they gave their lives up to protect you, never forget that and never let anyone make you believe otherwise,ok"Hiruzen Said, and Naruto nodded solemnly.
When he was sure Naruto was calm enough, Hiruzen spoke, "Naruto, we have somethings we need to talk about".
