Surprising isn't it. I didn't think I'd be here either yet here I am. Here is my puss in boots fanfic that no-one asked for

(Santa Coloma Church, Puss' and Kitty's Wedding Day)

(Puss' POV)

The day finally arrived, I was worried, I didn't know if Kitty would even show let alone say "I do". I waited half an hour for Kitty to show….but she never did. I sat on the cold steps of the church, alone and betrayed

" Kitty…¿Dónde estás?" I whispered to myself

I got up from the steps and walked away from the church, hurt, and betrayed. I knew that if I saw Kitty again, I would make her answer for what she did

(Present Day, Mama Luna's Home)

It had been many months with Mama Luna and I was getting more and more used to it. However, one day changed everything for me. It started off normal, I went to eat my food but when I got over there, the dog obviously pretending to me a cat beside me wouldn't stop hitting me with their tail

"(sighs) Do you mind? I'm trying to eat over here. I mean, meow. Whatever" I said

"Oh, sorry (gasps) Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. You're a talking cat? I'm a talking cat. Let's talk!" The 'cat' replied

"(sighs) I'd rather eat." I replied

"Oh, not a problem. We can eat and talk at the same time." The 'cat' said

"No hablo inglés " I said

"(gasps) ¿Hablas español?! Yo también! !Ah! ¿De dónde eres? ¿Te gustan las siestas? (You speak Spanish?! Me too! !Ha! Where are you from? Do you like naps?) (Yes, that's the actual translation)" The 'cat' replied

"I don't speak Spanish, either." I said planting my head in the food

"(chuckles) You're funny." The 'cat' replied

"Uh… okay. Good talk."I said planting my head in the food again

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hang on" The 'cat' replied

I lifted my head up and the 'cat' then separated my beard to reveal my collar

"Pickles? Is that your name?" The cat asked

He let go of my beard

"Me, I don't have a name or a home." The 'cat' stated

I walked away from the food and the cat proceeded to follow

"So, I'm no expert, but you don't look like a Pickles." The 'cat' said

"Well, you don't look like a cat." I replied

The dog seemed nervous when I said that

"(gasps) Okay, okay, okay. Full disclosure: I'm not a cat. I'm a dog. (shushing)" The dog replied

The dog was shushing me when Mama Luna walked past

"Hi, Bon Bon." Mama Luna said

The dog returned with a meow

"Oh, Pickles has a new girlfriend? Okay." Mama Luna said jokingly

"I live under the porch. It can get a little lonely down there. It's mostly controlled by the rats and the centipedes, but I have my own little corner." The dog stated

"Congratulations." I said sarcastically

"I just come up here for the food and the friends." The dog said

One of the cats we walked past hissed violently at the dog

"Mostly… mostly the food. Please don't tell anyone. I need this." The dog begged

"I won't tell. I don't care." I replied

"So you'll keep my secret? A secret between friends?" The dog asked

"Just a secret." I answered

"It's funny… despite all this best friend bonding, you're still a mystery to me, Pickles. What's your story?" The dog asked

"My story…" I said

I started to remember my story, the story of how I met the ogre and the donkey, the story of how I helped Humpty steal the golden goose with…Kitty… I then remembered all of the memories I had with her and how she left me alone at Santa Coloma…I snapped out of the daydream thanks to the dog

(Fast forward to when Kitty and Puss meet again in Jack Horners trophy room)

I got the map out of the box it was held in but heard a familiar voice from the darkness of the lid

"Puss?" The voice asked

I recognised the voice it was none other than…

"Kitty Softpaws.." I said

"It's been a long time mi amor" Kitty said playfully as she got out of the box

I stole her sword and held it to her throat, I was furious after what she did at Santa Coloma and now as my chance to confront her about it

"Don't you mi amor me Kitty, you don't deserve to call me that after what you did" I said angrily

"Um…what are you talking about?" She asked

"Don't play dumb with me, you know what you did!" I shouted

"Who's there?" Boomed the voice of Jack Horner

Kitty stole her sword back and put it back in her scabbard

"Now look what you've done" Kitty said angrily

After fighting our way out, we fell into a cart that the dog was in

"Hey Puss, I found a sandwich here. I think it's tuna" The dog said

"I don't care, just drive!" I shouted

"Okie Dokie" The dog said cheerfully

We sped through the streets before escaping the town. Now that we were free, I confronted Kitty one more time

"Now, I'm going to you one more time, what have I done?" Kitty asked

"YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU DID, LEAVING ME IN SANTA COLOMA!" I shouted

Everyone fell silent, tears formed in Kitty's eyes and some rolled down her face as she used both her paws to cover her mouth

"You were there..." She whispered

I knew that was all she could manage

"Yes Kitty, I was. I was there because I thought I found someone who I could trust my love with. It's clear I haven't" I said still furious

I started to walk toward the dog when Kitty called my name

"Puss…" Kitty said softly, her voice breaking

I turned my head to face her. Tears were falling down her face

"Lo lamento…" She said, her voice breaking more

I turned my head away and sat beside the dog. I nicknamed the dog Perito. We traveled until we reached the dark forest. Me and the dog got off, but Kitty was nowhere to be seen

"Puss…shouldn't we look for Kitty?" Perito asked

"No, we shouldn't" I replied

"But Puss…you upset her pretty bad…don't you think you were a bit too harsh on her?" Perito asked softly

"If you knew what she did, you would understand why I was harsh on her" I shouted

I noticed that I scared Perito and started to feel guilty for what I did to Kitty

"Perito…I'm sorry" I said softly

I petted Perito on the head to comfort him and he returned to his normal self

"So, are we going to look for Kitty now?" Perito asked

I laughed. That dog is one of a kind…

"Yes Perito, we are" I replied

And so, we set off to search for Kitty, I wasn't sure if we would find her, Perito kept reassuring me. And I knew we would find her..
