Jeannie in the 1992 Movie
What if Jeannie the Babysitter appeared in the 1992 Tom & Jerry Movie, working for Figg & Lickboot? How would it have played out if she was in it?
[I DO NOT & NEVER EVER WILL, OWN TOM & JERRY]
CHAPTER 1: Money is Such A Beautiful Word
You know the story of the Tom & Jerry 1992 Movie, where Tom & Jerry ended up in the big city and had to work together to find a new home, but not before they had to help a young girl called Robyn Starling escape from her cruel Aunt Figg, and get her to her father.
Well, what if Jeannie, the babysitter from the Tom & Jerry cartoons 'Busy Buddies' & 'Tot Watchers' appeared in the film, working for Aunt Figg & Lickboot?
Now's your chance to find out.
The story begins right where Aunt Figg, the villain of the Tom and Jerry 1992 film, was sobbing and holding a patrolman by his clothes. "Oh, my poor little Robyn! Find her, officer, please! The poor child!" she sobbed.
"There, there, Miss Figg." said the patrolman, "We'll find the little girl, I promise you. I'll call for a status report right now."
"Oh, please. Please!" Aunt Figg begged. "I don't know how I'll live without her!" she sobbed some more. "You won't be able to live without her, Pristine." stated her boyfriend, Lickboot, who, BTW, was Robyn's dad's lawyer.
"Shut up, Lickboot, you hoo doo!" Figg snapped.
"But it's true, Pristine." said Lickboot. "Without Robyn, Daddy Starling's trust fund money will go bye-bye and you'll be out in the cold, cold, cold!"
"And you with me, Lickboot!" Figg snapped. "Now stop talking. You're the lawyer. Scheme!"
At that moment, Jeannie, the babysitter from the Tom & Jerry cartoons 'Busy Buddies' & 'Tot Watchers' appeared in the room, carrying some cups of tea. She had once been a babysitter, but she spent most of her time talking on the phone, too busy to keep her eyes on babies.
But recently, after a runaway baby stunt with Tom & Jerry [who will later appear in this story], she'd been fired from her job as a babysitter, and had been made to work for a woman named Aunt Figg, as punishment.
"Calm down, Madame Figg." Jeannie tried to say to her, offering her a cup of tea. "I'm sure your niece will return home soon. She can't have gone far."
"HOW CAN I CALM DOWN?!" Figg shouted angrily at Jeannie, nearly making her hair stand on end. "IF I DON'T HAVE HER, I'LL LOSE HER FATHER'S TRUST FUNDS, AND I'LL END UP ON THE STREETS WITH LICKBOOT! And you'll go down with me!"
"Alright," Jeannie said, trying to calm her down. "But don't go blame yourself for losing her. Technically speaking, it was your dog Ferdinand's fault." As she said that, she motioned to Ferdinand, a overweight dachshund dog on a skateboard under a table, who was snickering.
"You find this amusing, Ferdy, you fat freeloader?" Figg snapped at her dog. "You're the one who let her get away!"
"Eating." Ferdinand muttered. "I know you were eating. You're always eating." Figg sighed. Then, she picked up a cupcake. "You want this cupcake?"
AND Ferdinand SAID, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!"
"Fetch!" Figg cried, chucking the cupcake. Ferdinand, being a overweight dog, used his skateboard to roll after the cupcake. He stands up and eats it, then crashed into a piece of furniture. Jeannie had to help him up. "Ferdy," she said, "please don't bump into the furniture. You know it's precious to Robyn's father."
"Just pray the police find her, Pristine, or we're doomed to return to the ranks of the peasantry." Lickboot said.
At this, Figg and Jeannie gasped and Ferdinand whined.
"And you'd better hope this rumor that dashing Daddy Starling may have survived the avalanche is just a rumor, or we'll be worse than ordinary." Lickboot reminded them.
"I know I'm gonna be sorry I asked this, but how worse?" Jeannie asked.
"We'll be..."
"Don't say it!" Figg wailed.
"Poor." Lickboot said.
"Penniless." Figg added.
"Bankrupt." Jeannie finished.
"No more money?!" Figg said worriedly.
"We've got to have... money*." Lickboot said. [*-Thus, a new meme was born.]
AND THEN, Figg & Lickboot sang a song.
[SONG: Money is Such A Beautiful Word]
Figg: Money is such a beautiful word
Lickboot: I know, I know.
Figg: It soars in my mind like a beautiful bird
Lickboot: I know, I know.
Figg: Better than that
It makes me feel like an aristocrat
That's where it's at
Money is such a beautiful word
Lickboot: Quite so, quite so, quite so.
Figg: Money is such a wonderful thing
Lickboot: Ah yes, ah yes.
Figg: I find that I use it for everything!
Lickboot: No less, No less.
Figg: Money is power
If it were food, it's a dish I'd devour
Every hour!
Money is such a beautiful word
Lickboot: Oh yes, oh yes, oh yes!
Figg: Money is my passion, always in fashion!
Stashin', cash, cream of the cream, that is my dream
Lickboot: Money is a glorious thing
When I see lots of it, I want to stand up and sing
Figg: Money is my favourite, that's why I crave it
Even a rich, wicked old witch
Ha, what should I say?
Lickboot: Money is the love of my life
The only true love of my life
Figg: Money for me is all that there is
Lickboot: It is, it is.
Figg: I spend it so well, I'm the best in the biz
Lickboot; A wiz, a wiz.
Figg: Money and I, we are as happy as apple and pie
Haven't you heard
Money is such a beautiful word
Money, they say is evil as Satan and probably worse
Lickboot: It is.
Figg A dreadful and wonderful curse
Lickboot: It is.
Figg: A pleasure to have in my purse
Lickboot: It is, it is.
Figg and Lickboot: Money is the...most beautiful word.
