Kido Kurosaki found himself in a field surrounded by enormous walls, unsure of how he had arrived there. He looked down and realized that he was now a Pure Titan, unable to change back into a human. Suddenly, he heard a loud explosion and saw a hole in one of the walls of the city in the distance.

"What's happening?" Kido wondered aloud.

As he made his way towards the city, he saw Titans pouring through the hole and attacking the humans within the walls. Kido charged towards them, using his strength to fight for the humans even though he didn't know why.

"Who is that Titan?" shouted one of the soldiers. "It's not attacking us!"

"Get back, it could be dangerous," another warned.

Kido ignored them and continued fighting for the humans. He felt a strange connection to them, even though he couldn't understand why.

After the battle, Kido was approached by the Survey Corps. They wanted to capture the two other Titans that were also inside the walls, but they needed Kido's help to communicate with them. However, they didn't know Kido's name yet.

"Hey, you there! Can you help us?" shouted one of the Survey Corps members.

"The Titan is not attacking us. Maybe we can communicate with it," said another.

They approached Kido with caution, pointing their weapons at him.

"Subject of Ymir," Kido replied, his only words.

"What the hell is he saying?" said one of the members.

"He's a Titan, he can't speak like us," replied the first.

"Then how can we communicate with him?" asked a third.

The Survey Corps decided to capture Kido and the other two Titans and bring them to their base. They hoped to study them and find a way to communicate with them.

Days turned into weeks as Kido lived with the Survey Corps, learning about the world he was now in. He discovered that there were three walls: Maria, Rose, and Sina, and that Titans had already breached the outermost wall. He also learned about the Survey Corps and their mission to explore the world beyond the walls.

"Hey, you there!" said a young soldier.

Kido observed them silently, not sure how to communicate with them.

As time passed, Kido started to form a connection with the Survey Corps. They treated him well and fed him regularly. One day, a woman approached him.

"Hey there, big guy. You're a strange one, you know that?" said the woman, Hanji. "We still don't know how to communicate with you. But you're different from the other Titans. We can see it in your eyes."

"Subject of Ymir," Kido replied.

Hanji nodded. "Yes, you're a Subject of Ymir. But we need to call you something. How about we give you a name?"

Kido tilted his head, curious.

"Hmm, let's see. You're big and strong, but you also seem gentle. I'll call you... Atlas!" she said excitedly.

"Atlas..." Kido repeated, testing out the name.

The Survey Corps continued their work to study the Titans, and Kido assisted them as much as he could. He had a feeling that he was brought to this world for a reason, and that reason was to help these humans.

"Atlas, we need your help," said Hanji, as she approached Kido one day.
