Happy Valentines Day to anyone reading this. Be sure to spend time with those you love, be it Platonic, Romantic, or Familial.
With that out of the way I hope you enjoy the story I made for today. Featuring Bluey and Jean-Luc. Now if you've not read my other Bluey fic, her job is landscaping. Takes place before my other fic. Like waaay before. (Jean-Luc doesn't have his teaching job yet.)
Alright now on with the story.
Bluey had just gotten back from work. Arms aching, knees beginning to buck and give out as she walked through the front door. Well, walk is being a bit generous, she more or less trudged through the door. Groaning at her muscles twitching uncomfortably, she walked in and crashed on her couch.
Jean-Luc walked from the kitchen to see who had walked in the house. Of course he was greeted to the sight of his girlfriend on the couch, face first. He continued to walk towards her. He sat on the floor next to said couch.
"Bonjour Amour." he said quietly.
She raised her head from the cushion. Greeted by her boyfriend's pretty face, at least according to her.
"Hey Babe." she smiled weakly.
"You alright?"
"Not really."
"What happened?"
Her smile disappeared just as fast as she had gained it.
"We had to work with wheelbarrows."
"Oh." he realized how bad her day might've been.
"And cement."
"Oh." It just got worse.
"I didn't think I'd have this bad a day since Bingo's wedding." Bluey complained.
"And that was just last month." Jean-Luc continued.
"Exactly."
"Well if it makes you feel any better, dinner is practically done. We're having something special tonight." he teased.
"Oh I like things that are special." she said with a bit of giddiness.
"I'll let you rest, and I'll get everything ready, I'll call you when I'm done." he said, he gave her a quick peck on the lips, and got up to get dinner on the table.
Minutes pass, Bluey feels just a tad better, she then caught a scent of what was for dinner. An omelette, with sausages, and fruit salad to add something sweet into the mix.
"Maintenant je présente, dîner." Jean-Luc said as he put Bluey's plate on the coffee table in front of the couch. Complete with a fork and knife.
"Oh. Ça a l'air chic, pour juste un autre jeudi." Bluey said back.
Bluey grabbed the fork and started cutting the omelette with the side and took a bite.
"Oh. Babe, this is amazing." she said with her mouth partially full.
"Eh bien, je ne mets que le meilleur pour mon véritable amour." Jean-Luc teased.
"Eh bien, votre véritable amour vous remercie beaucoup d'être vous-même un grand véritable amour." she told him.
"Hey. No fair. Keep that up I'll be more red than Bingo was at her wedding." he joked.
"That'll be a record in the Heeler family for sure." she joked back.
The two lovers continued to eat their meal. One with great enthusiasm, the other with a sense of anticipation.
After they were finished, Bluey went into the direction of their room. Jean-Luc moved a little faster than normal putting dishes and leftover food away. Bluey couldn't help but wonder why he was acting like this. She put her hand on the knob to the room.
"Bluey wait!" Jean-Luc semi-shouted.
"What?" she asked, taken aback.
"Let me. It's a surprise."
"Oh. A surprise huh?" she flirted a bit.
"Yes. Now close your eyes."
"Really?"
"Please amour?" Jean-Luc asked, using his please face.
"Oh. You and the please face. Fine." She gave in, putting emphasis on closing her eyes.
Jean-Luc waved his hand a few times in front of her face to see if she was peeking. She wasn't, good.
He opened the door, grabbed Bluey's hand, and lead her into their room.
"Okay. Now open them."
She opened her eyes. And she saw their bed, covered in different pictures that both their families sent them. Whether it'd be on their dates, or on family trips. Each picture was a different memory. And one very beautiful to look back on.
And to top it all off, a small version of the tree they had planted when they first met on that camping trip. A very distant memory, that both promised to never forget.
"Oh my God. Babe! What's all this?" Bluey said with just pure happiness.
"Well. It's my Valentines gift. To my one True Love, you." he told her.
Then Bluey was hit with the realization.
"Oh No!" she said with dread.
"What?" Jean-Luc saw her go from happy, to guilty in an instant.
"Jean-Luc I completely forgot that it was Valentines Day. You know I love you, and this gift is just above and beyond. I'm so sorry I forgot, with work and people barley saying anything. I'm jus-"
Jean-Luc then interrupted Bluey by placing his hand on her cheek. Making her look him in the eyes.
"It's fine Bluey." he comforted.
They continued to stare deeper into each other's eyes, inching closer with out realizing. As if on instinct they brought each others lips together.
A nice and tender kiss from his Love was just enough for Jean-Luc this year. And one Bluey for sure won't forget any time soon.
Both dogs went to sleep happy, and content that night.
Alright thanks for reading my Valentines Day Bluey fic. I wrote this on the 14th, but I didn't finish it until the 15th so that's why it's a day late.
Now take care guys. And have a great Day/Evening/Night. Until next time
