Can anyone guess where this scene is from?

Sitting in a crouched position is a man, surrounding him are seven male figures, the crouched man says as he rocks himself "everything is, I had a speech, I learned it all" he shakes his head and says "oh, god, she won't understand, she won't understand"

"of course, she won't understand, Sparky, we're beyond her understanding, she's a girl- sugar and spice and everything useless, unless you're baking," says one figure before he says "we're more than that, more than flesh-"

"more than blood, we're- you know, I honestly don't think there's a human word fabulous enough for us, oh, our name will be on everyone's lips, assuming their lips haven't been torn off," the second figure says before he says walking a bit "but not just yet, that's all right though"

"we can be patient, everything is well within parameters, she's exactly where I want her to be" the third figure looks at the man crouched on the floor and says "and so are you, number 17, you're right where you belong"

The fourth figure kneels down and asks the crouched man "so what did you think, you'll get your soul back and everything will be jim-dandy? A soul's slipperier than a greased weasel, why do you think I sold mine?" the fourth figure chuckles before he says "well, you probably thought you'd be your own man, and I respect that"

"but you never will, you'll always be ours, you'll always be in the dark with us, singing our little songs," says the fifth figure lightly petting the crouched man on the head before he asks "you like our little songs, don't you?" he then says "you've always liked them, right from the beginning, and that's where we're going"

"right back to the beginning, not the bang, not the word, the true beginning," says the sixth figure before he says walking a bit "the next few months are going to be quite a ride, and I think we're going to learn something about ourselves in the process" he stops walking and turns to the crouched man as the others all step back before the sixth figure says to the crouched man "you'll learn you're pathetic schmuck, if it hasn't sunk in already, look at you..." he steps closer to the crouched man "trying to do what's right, just like her, you still don't get it, it's not about right, it's not about wrong"

"It's about power," says the seventh and last figure.
