"They used to call me Alcatraz, Remember me…". Those were my last words or so I thought, I still remember what Prophet said to me before being plucked into the Nanosuit "Destiny's a bitch huh?", and apparently he was right.
Terran Year 1096
Rhodes Island, Control Center
"Scout what's the situation?". Said the green feline woman as she overlooked the screen that displayed a map of Chernobog.
"Everything's in chaos Doctor Kal'tsit, the Reunion is all over the place, I even saw one of the Patriot's Guerillas patrolling on the streets minutes ago, thank whatever gods- they're not spotting us when we bypassed them. I hope this is worth it doc, so mind telling us what are we trying to find besides the Doctor?". Said Scout through the Comms
"I'll explain when you get there".
"I hope it's worth it doc…" . With that Scout comms cut off
"I hope too…". Uttered words came from the feline
Chernobog, Underground Sewer system
"Boss, what are we doing here?, shouldn't we backup Amiya's squad if things go south?". Said one of the Scout's squadmate
"I don't know. Doctor Kal'tsit said she's going to explain when we find it…". Reply Scout to Macron one of the Vanguards
Silence filled the group while trekking through the sewer, they knew they're not liking it, the whole operations already should prioritize the Doctor getting to safety while backing up other squads, but since it's a direct order from Dr. Kal'tsit herself then it must be important, then again no one but themselves know about this specific OP.
"…What do you guys think about this?, do you think it's some sort of secret machine, weapons- or something?".
"Better yet, I think it's a cure".
"Yeah, no, if it's the latter then Doc would tell everyone about this not keeping everyone in the dark alright, and why even bother hiding it in the sewer of all things?".
"Quiet…". Finally said Scout before talking to radio
"Doctor Kal'tsit we're here…".
The group finally stopped after arriving in front of a door that had an staff only sign.
"Good. Now go find a vending machine that hides behind a black cloth, and it shouldn't be hard to find" .
Confused plastered expressions among the group, they have the same thought 'What?', Scout just shook his head and replied "Understood…". And so with that they went inside and dispersed to find it in the big room that was piled with multiple sewerage tools and, among other things, basically a storeroom, and one of the members finally found it.
"Hey, I think I found it…".
Said the vending machine just sits by leaning on the wall covered with black cloth. With no second thought, Scout just pulled the cloth down revealing what's beneath it.
"What the hell…?".
Shock, awe and weary, mixed within the group, after pulling the cloth down, instead what they thought it would be a vending machine there sits by a cryo pod, and inside it lays a man(?) In the tight black muscle suit(?) with red visor and some kind an attached breather behind the glass pod.
"Is that a man?".
"… I think it's a robot…?".
"Doctor Kal'tsit I found the man… I think". Scout said through the radio with calm and weary.
"You did?, good. Now prepared the substance bottle, then insert it inside the tube- right beside the capsule" .
Scout then looked at a Liberi medic Operator and called her "Milim…".
"H-huh ah yeah". With that she snapped out of her trance
"What am I looking at doc?".
"All of you will not speak outside of this, This is a knowledge only the Executive knows about… but since your team getting rope into this I'll explain it… several years ago before I'm joining the Babel this man was found at the coast of Iberia during my trip to research the Seaborns, we were trying to wake him up but unfortunately he seems in coma. I'm having a thought about sending him to hospital before departing, but curiosity beats me, 'why is he in a suit?, what is that suit?, and why is he not already eaten by the Seaborns?" .
"With that said I'm bringing him, after medical checkups on him, there's several… concerns. Multiple broken bones, a degree burns across his body, and much others… how is he still alive at this point I don't know… but what caught me is that his state of mind is dormant not by nature but by something… me and other colleagues trying to get suit off of him but it's impossible it's almost as if… sentient… obsessed… bonded would be the word" .
As if the man behind the glass pod heard it he spasmed scaring the group after being injected with a substance bottle, except Scout, the man listened to Dr. Kal'tsit story very seriously.
"I and the other finally agreed to research the anomaly with a line of moral codes, and the result was beyond our comprehend, the man in the suit not only became resistances against Oripathy but also a cure to the disease… we're searching how it can but none of us all be able to understand it, the suit man wears it's beyond our knowledge, the compound not just mixed with material that we don't know but also a biology that we can't understand it. Even the Doctor was having a hard time through it" .

You would think you're going to heaven or hell after that shit fiasco, but then suddenly you woke up seeing and hearing SECOND words in front of your eyes, never so pissed in my life.
What the fuck is this?, What the fuck Prophet?, I thought you wanted the job, so why I'm still here?, as if it wasn't enough, my view becomes clearer, and what I'm seeing is a group full of animal traits, Where the fuck am I? Am I in a furry conventions or something?.
"-I hope with that substance he can finally wake up…" . Said the woman words what I thought from a radio, that horned sniper guy hold- hold on is that guy a fucking devil?
The glass span finally reeled in catching the everyone attention
"Oh yeah I'm awake alright". Said with my hoarse voice. Wait, I can speak now?!
"That's good!, Scout, I want your team to meet up with the Amiya's and extract him with the Doctor…" .
"Yeah, that's good and all, but I have questions. One: Who are all of you?, Two: Where the hell am I?, Three: What are all of you?".
That last questions seems to threw everyone up, like it's obvious thing in the world, which is not, seriously what did you do Prophet?, did everyone turn into furries after you failed to thwart the Ceph invasion- which I hope not -and fuck all the… I'm not going to end that sentence, Finally after a few minutes the dev- horned guy speaks up.
"We're Rhodes Island Pharmaceutical Company, we're in Chernobog, and if you're going to ask what race we're from then, I'm Sarkaz-"
The first to second answers okay… seems I'm in Russia and they are from a pharmacists company. Why are they using that weapons? Don't know… maybe Ceph has fucking the world so hard that they're using primitive weapons and these guys are bodyguards or something, but that last answer halted my thoughts… Sarkaz? What?.
"Pter here-"
"No, What I'm asking, what species are you?". I cut off with an emphasis on species.
That confused everyone, alright. I don't know whether I'm glad or not, glad, because I'm not the only one who is confused as hell, not, because I can feel the headache coming up.
"We're humans….?". Said the timid girl with what I thought looked a like bird ears(?)
"…Last I recall, humans don't have animal traits…".
"Look, what are you implying? Are you trying to ask us why were have tails, ear birds or something? We get it most of Ægir don't have animal traits on them but isn't that racist?". Snapped the Dev- horned guy with swords a little bit taller than the sniper
"Aegir…?".
"Yeah, aren't you one?".
"What? No, I'm not- and before you ask I have amnesia or crazy, I'll shove up your ass with that chair if you have that assumption…".
"…..".
Alright, now everyone's more confused than before and me being add up on the headache part. What the fuck man?, I thought I would be in heaven or hell after all the shit I've been through. instead I open my eyes, I see some kind type of weebs bullshit pulling my legs, Leavenworth would like to be in my place, since the guy always spouting conspiracies where everyone doesn't believe it, And what do you know one of his conspiracy turns out to be true after all, an alien fucking up our planet.
"…Hey, you said we're in Chernobog right?, isn't that in Russia?".
"…No, it's Ursus… why?". Said the sniper guy calmly
Alright, something is wrong, I can feel it…
"…What's the name of this planet again?".
"It's… Terra". Said the timid girl with hesitation, I meant it as a joke!.
"I know you have some questions, but we're running out of time, Mr.?" . Said from the woman on the radio.
"Alcatraz".
"Alcatraz, I know you're confused, but this matter can wait after you and the others are going out of the Chernobog" .
"What is it?, what's happening out there?".
"There's an insurgency run by Reunion, wrecking the whole city while killing everyone wherever they see it, and I'm not risking casualties just because some mundane questions Mr. Alcatraz. I take care of my Operators caringly" .
"Alright sounds good, what do we do?".
"Now, we're going to get out of this stinkin' place". Answers one of the Operators who has wolf ears.
"Huh?".
Several Minutes later
Chernobog st. Ulyanovsk
I know hiding me in the Sewer was a good idea since no one was gonna get suspicious but fuck sake why the sewers?, there's several idea- a good one too -but why sewers of all things?
But well, at least right now we're in the streets…
So here we are 13 Operators plus 1 Nanosuits Supersoldier, huddled up in the corner of the alley trying to sneak away from the Terrorists in town.
"*static cout! *static in!" .
"Doc!, I can't read you!, The signal is Jammed! Jammed!". Shouted Scout through the radio.
" *Static" .
"Damn it!".
"What should we do boss?". Said Pter one of the Sniper guys
Seriously, why are they still using repeater crossbows while the squad lead Scout guy has a real sniper gun(?).
Apparently they need Arts to use it- I called it fucking voodoo magic which he denied it -to stabilize something inside the gun before firing it and only selective people can use it which is very rare, the only common people to use it it's the Sanktas- I ask what they're look like he said a god damn angel -and pretty much not answering everything, and I ask again how do I get Arts then the other guy answer my question with 'Chuck the originium to your skin and called it a day' I don't even know what originium is until we came across a big fucking rock that strike through the building.
But then the Scout guy clarified and added it, you can get Arts by getting a disease called Oripathy or being born and with a training from it. Oripathy… yeah 'Shit' that's my first thought was when passing by an infected, it's the Manhattan Virus all over again…
As if it doesn't get any better, I saw said many people being rounded up by terrorists and proceed to torture before killing them, really It's makes me angry, If it wasn't for my suit rebooting, I would have sneaked and killed them, whenever I get the chance I'm going to get revenge on them…
Still, why are they using magic rock cancer as a source of energy? They know it's bad news, yet why are they still using it?
No one knows.
"We're still going with the plan, meeting up with Amiya's squad and get to the extraction point". Reply Scout
After a bit of crossing and sneaking through the streets and building, we came across a squad of Sarkaz that held a blockade, For the third time.
"Scout, this is a third time that we go to the alternative route, do you think somethings not right?". Said Scorpion
"…Yes, they set us a trap. But if we can do this quickly, then we can go safely and meet up with the others before the trap is laid out…".
"So, what's the plan?".
"Alright here-"
Then outta nowhere, Prophet voice came out in my helmet
-I'm so sorry
"Prophet!". I hissed out
"Uhh what?".
Then they're attention suddenly turned to me like I was angry mad about something "Nothing, I was talking to myself, so what you need me to do?". Ask me casually, like nothing happened. One of the guys stare at me weirdly, while Scout just look at me calmly before replied "Alcatraz when things go wrong I want you run away from here, Amiya's squad being hunkered down on the green building block away from here… I want you to meet them".
"What? Why?".
"You are being prioritized over our lives, you are our only hope to the infected…".
Now it was me who turned to look at him weirdly - which is masked -what is he talking about?, Scout just sighed tiredly, as if he could see through my helmet, and said "You're going to be explained when you get there…"
"…right…".
'I don't think I will…'
Then I'm back to the current problem…
"Prophet! What the fuck is going on?!". I hissed quietly
-I messed up son. I was too late to get out of the Ceph ship…
"Explain from the start old man!, why the fuck I'm still alive?!, I thought I was already being erased!".
-The idea of being your still alive, it's because of me. I was going to return your body after thwarting the Ceph invasion, your consciousness is being repaired while I'm still fighting the Ceph. Since you have your consciousness back, I give back your body. And My consciousness is already moved to the suit, in short, I'm inside your Nanosuit.
"What? How does that even make any sense?! We're already dead man Prophet! You committed suicide back in New York! While me being shredded by a Ceph gunship! We're just a memory in a Nanosuit life form Damn it!"
Then I feel he's smiling about something-what the fuck is he smiling at? I swear to god-
-That's the thing, I don't know…
"What do you mean?!". I hissed very intensely
-I don't know how the Suit still marks you alive, I'm not a scientist son, I'm just a soldier or a memory if you want to think that way
"What…?".
-My best guess is that the N2 is very potent than what Hargreave thought it would be, just like what he thought the N1 was back in Lingshan Island…
"And after all this time…".
-…Yes, that's why I'm going to return it
"…What happened?...".
Then someone shrugged my shoulders off. I turned towards it "Hey, we're going off with the plan, you better stay here until I says so…". Scout said then off he went before Prophet continues
-10 years later, after the invasion being stopped and killing the Alpha Ceph, during that time your mind being dormant trying to recovering, I hear intel from one of my guys that Ceph Lithoid ship is crashed in Egypt. CELL just like old times trying to get a hands of it. me and the other are going to stop them. And it's not going well apparently there's an emergency portal for the Ceph crew, CELL being CELL trying to bomb it when one of the crew survivors caught red handed trying to escape and there's me caught in the middle of it, I was too late to get out before being sucked and ended up in the ocean before blackout… I never thought being teleport to another planet entirely…
I should be angry, but I can't… I just can't… but then I remember something.
"What happened to my sister…?".
-Last I saw she's going well with the new adopted parent. I sometimes visited them after the invasion. I tell her that your big brother fighting aliens saving everyone literally
That brought me almost tears and a relief…
Wait hold up…
"What do you mean teleport to another planet entirely?".
-It's either that because of malfunctions or there's a main base Ceph on this planet son…
"Are you telling me we're in their nest?!".
-I'm very much doubtful about it, if it was then we're already dead and not talking to other people, the entire M33 Galaxy is already conquered by them, so I'm doubtful about it…
"What?!".
-They already have a time travel device, what makes you think they don't have a portal to another planet and conquered M33 Galaxy yet?, we're still alive here, it's either the Ceph hadn't discover this planet yet and we get here by a malfunctioned Ceph portal, or they're already here and hibernating…
"Fuck, we need to get out of this planet".
But how? Find another lithoid ship? Making another portal? I'm not a geek damn it! I'm just a Recon Marine in the High Tech suit in the wrong place at the wrong time! I'm supposed to be dead! But then I just got woken up and got more problem to deal with! For all I know, they're already fucked this planet!
"Fucking run Alcatraz!". That got me snapped out and got up. Unfortunately, someone knocked me from behind, and held me in place
"Well~ well~ what do we have here?". I turn where the woman voice is, white hair and have a red cockroach anten - horn upside down. the fucker who held me in place from behind apparently is a big guy so I can't get a look on his face.
So this is my first fic about Arknights-Crysis crossover, both section doesn't have many fanfic so I guess I just 'Why not writing it?' and here we are, also English is not my mother language so forgive me.
Originally I already done the story with a little bit need of just changing here and there. And it's just one shot that I put only several chapters to easy to read instead go full nelson, and only covering the Chernobog. So yea sorry about that if you think this will be a full story, it's because I don't think this fic is very good enough. And uh this will be a semi crack and semi serious.
