Chapter 2: The Chaotic Jonrey

Simon Neville King had finally arived for his junrey to his first day at Hogwarts he met Profssor Fig in some Long allyway just outside a local pub. Simon Neville King was talking with the good profsosr about his spell practics, his progress in learning spells and other such matters thoguh he was realy wondering if there had been any atractive women at the bar who he cold buy a drink while they waited for Osric.

No time to think about that thoguh because Geroge Osric apreartd in a flash and it was good to see that profsors vauge diresctions did not stop him finding them. Thoguh he had taken a few wrong turnings trying telaport here and frightened some theratre goers in the prosses. If this had been the 20th century Simon Neville King might have made some joke about Star Trek herer but instead he was thinking about the 1001 Nights of Abriba where Genine tealports the palace or Tempest. He flet like he was in one of those Abrbian tales because he was entering a carage with no horses. He was about to ask how are they going to move without any horses but the driver whiped somthing into motion and they were flying.

PRofsor Fig and Gorge Osric were catching up on old times and then Osric asked about Simon Neville King. Profoser Fig told him that Simon Neville King is a new student and Orsric was shoked and Simon Neville King sayed "don't worry I am not an overgrown first year. I am starting school as a fith year". Osric was surpised nd he and Profsor fig spoke a for a while about how unsual this is. Profsor Fig was saying about he has helped Simon Neville King catch up with his spells skills as not to be behind and Osric starts brown nosing saying how Fig is a great wizard and teacher and how Simon Neville King could not have had a beter teacher. Fig made a poiant coment about how Osric flattery is what got his postion in the MOM.

But Osric had to turn to moar serious issues showign a newspaper about the goblin rebleion led by Ranrok. Simon Neville King was wondering why he is telling them about this and chimed in "sounds like hype. We're wizards what's a few gobbers going to do to us?" and Osric cometed "I would't understamate them. THey are a real thret" then he said to Fig that his wife told him about the rebelion and their danger before her deaf. Then Osric took out a magic artfact an said that Fig's wif sent it to him and it was the last thing he got from her. Profsor fig wondered if this was to keep it out of Ranrok's gresey fat fingrers.

George Osric noted that he cold not open it had it has a powerfil magic seale on it and Prosor Fig thinked that it looked like it was made of Globlin metal. Simon Neville King commneted "pretty near gizmo and it also glows in the dark" Profssor Fig was surpised at this "I don't sea a glow" he noted. The Simon Neville King opened it which caused more shock and both the other men were wondering how he opend it. Before they could ponder any futher a dragon barged straight into the carrage and arte poor Gorgey as well as half their ride hole.

It was a mater of holding on tight and Simon Neville King was glad he has stron nerves or mite of dyed of shock from the jump savre alone. The the mounts pulling the carage materliaessd and Simon Neville King cold guss why he cold see them before. Then he thinked to himself "they look like pretty mean beasts! Why aren't they doing anything to defend us or themsle.." but there was no time to ponder that any more because they had to jump for it.

The key was falling out the device and they had to skydive after it and it look almost hopeles but it was their good fortune that the key teapotted them away befor they cold become the Dragon's lunch.

They arived in a cave and but Simon Neville King is hurt good thing that the good profesor has a healing potion that he giving him to use. Then profsor Fig was sad a bout Georgey's demise and sayed that a normal Dragon would never attack a carargie mid flight and Simon Neville King comented "relaly because al the books I read Dragon's had to be fort off by knights or wizards or vikings because they cause constat chaos" and Fig said "that's was a either loong time ago or just storys. The magic world is very diffent from what it was back then. You have much to learn but I am sure you will catch up fast."

They had to figure out where they were thoguh and it turned out they were in a cliff in a scottish highlands and Simon Neville King noted "The scotish higlands I almost wonder if we might meat the ghost of William Wallace, it would be good to sea a dead clebraty" and Profosr Fig responded "I highly doubt that he wouldt have fallen in battle here. Still I wonder why it did take us to this location" and Simon Neville King sighed "Beats me. Well aleast were are a little closer to Hogwarts." Then they spotted some old ruins and headed in their direction.

On the way to the ruins Simon Neville King was able to pratice his wand on some vases and pots breaking them. PRfosor Fig was explaing about his wives resrch into anchinet magic and that's how she must have got the port key that got them hear. They soon came to a big block of what looks like Black Ice, not refeing to the AC/DC album which rather a underated ablum. Prfosor Fig pointered out that it is not cold enough for Ice so it must be a magic enrgmant so Simon Neville King broek the encartmeant and they countued. The slope down was ruth but it was not to bad.

THen they came to a bridge that is was broken and it was lucky that Profesor Fig cast reparo and fixes it so they can corss. THan they are ate teh ruins. They were looking around them and Simon Neville King founde a Mimbari Skull that would be added by the Babylon 5 and Star Trek race and alein magic mod pack. This would allow you to make your character as some of your favorate alein races from these series and or use some of the pshi powers they have. So you can mind meld as a Vulcan or kno how you will dye as a Centari, you could also lern these technquies from a alein artfacts from these civilsations. As well as get offers from Mr. Morden asking you what you want.

Simon Neville King took it for futher stuyd and looked at the mural and the stature in the place. Professor Fig pointed out that they must be of the owner of the mansion and he must have been a great wizard who like sacluson. THough Simon Neville King was not impressed "he must have been realy full of himslef theough if he had murals and statues of himslef. I bet he had stain glass windows dedicated to him as well and why not a church or temple devioded to him on top of that." and Prfoesor Fig say "this not important we need to look for the anchinet magic in these ruins not speculate on the personaulity of its form owner".

Then Simon Neville King saw a stature of a naked woman in a futher part of the ruin and ran to check her out. "oh wow she must have been a real beauty" but as he was admring it he then he ntocied that there was another encharnted material near by this one has a room behined it. So he called the prosors and he came over Simon Neville King sayed "look what I have found" and Fig sayed "really Simon you need to take this more seriously. We looking for acheint magic not lued statues" and Simon Neville King sayed "no at this wall I can see a room behind it" and Profesor Fig was saying that hge couldnt see a room. So Simon Neville King touched the wall and they ended up in a compeltly difrent place.

"Merlin's Beared" Fig expcalimed and they realsed they are in Gringotts amd Simon Neville King pointed out "Gringots but that's in London where we started. This Portkey is taking on some sight seeing tour by the looks of it" then they there was the sound of snoring and there was a goblin a sleep on the job. Profoser Fig was trying to wake him up. Simon Neville King on the over hand used this a optunity to play a prank on the goblin and pick a quill and used it to sketch a painis on Gobin's head.

Then the Goblin woke up and was surpised at this vistors he welcomed them to Gringots wizarding bank and presumed they are looking for Vault 12. Prefsor Fig handed him they key and so the Golbin led them into a minecaert or roller coster cart all while Simon Neville King kept singering at the graffit on the Goblin's head.

So the minecart ride took the past many vaults and it all reminded Simon Neville King of the roller costers he had been on at fair grounds but much less safe. Profesor Fig was aksing questions about Vault 12 and the age of the vaults and Simon Neville King was as well but he was also making remakers like "do we get our photo taken at the end of this ride" or "so where can by some cotten candy here?". The Goblin sighed "why do I always get the comdians"

They were arived at stoping point and was questioned by a groff sounding Goblin Guard about what vault they are going to. The Goblin said they were going Vault 12 and Simon Neville King aksed the gaurd "so how many packs cigerates do you smoke a day" the guard sayed it was way over a hundred surpsings Simon Neville King. He wasn't just being funny asking that question Simon Neville King really wanted to get a better lok at him because his arm band was glowing. Also Simon Neville King he cold sea that the gaurd was starting to run off in a rush and he neded to delay him a bit.

Now moved on and Simon Neville King was talking about he gaurd and the armband but the banker goblin asked what they are talkin about and Simon Neville King say they are only taking about he guard. THe goblin gave some info about him looking at the older sections of bank.

THey reached the door and where let in Simon Neville King grabed some moneys from a chest outside and got in. Now Profesor Figh was wondering what they could be loking for when the Goblin said to them that his instructions where to let them in and lock the door. Which he did. Presaor Fig was a bit socked at this but kept his cool and said they should stil lok. He than tought Simon Neville King revealio a spell that reveals things. Simon Neville King used it to find a door.

Than they are in a n evant biger vault that is liek a something form a Dwarf hall from Lord of the Rings. Simon Neville King was looking everywhere for hords of gold biut coulndt find any "what a lousy vault" he commented but Profesanta Fig was confisdants that they is moar to this vault than meats the eye. THey soon came to some glowing light and when it was stepting into the roome changed and there is a knight relceted on to the grownd.

So Simon Neville King casgted revelao and reveald it but the flrection was in a difrent postion and afters some invsigation it was shown that rhe relfection follows Fig's lumous light around so he tought Simon Neville King lumous.

So Simon Neville King guided the Knights sowrd and the light idrection to match. But than the Knight statue ame to live and moar bad knight statues came to attack and there was a pretty cool battle. The knights were attack and Simon Neville King was counter attack and make knights statue crumble with spells . Profeosotr Fight was also hitting them with some spells and killing htem in cool ways or destroying them because they are statues.

So all the evil night satues are the defeated and it was good. Then they were teaported agains and Simon Neville King foudn hemself in a nother dark vault area and he loked around for hiden hordes of gold again but this times he found five hiden chests of gold. Then he folowed some light to a next area. Then he was in another room where there is statues and he new had to face them alone.

So Simon Neville King used lumino and than got them to line up their lights. THe Knights staties came to live and attack. He maaged to face them of and using spells to do damage and protetive spells to protect when they attack. He whould use protecgo to protect when they attack and follow up with stupify when they stun to do masive damage. Soon he had magiced all the knights statues to their defeat and his victory.

THen it was following more light to the xist and he got out through antoehere door portal. There it was a fancy room with a silver flask hovering in the midle and Simon Neville King was admiring it when profsor Fig came in and tol him that it is a pensive for viewing mammaries. So of course Simon Neville King pourd it straight in and looked. He saw some medival dudes talking about anchient magic one was some fat due who looked like a cross betwee a squaire and Henry the 8th and the other was some old wizard fellow. The old wizard cold sea nachinet magic and other things.

Simon Neville King was a bit "I didn't sea any mammaries" and Fig sayed "oh I meant memories but it did get you to pay attention. A good thing to as well because it seems that you can see anchient magic. This what my dear wife had been looking for all her life. She and my dear fteind Geogre had given their lvies for this knowlage now we must.."

But then there was vocies and about every Goblin they ran into here along with the rebel leader himslef came in. He was pleased that his repustation meant they already knew who he was and that somone had atlast visted this vault. Profseor Fig asked him what he is doing here and they drew their wands to prepar fo the danger this Goblin terrorist might bring. Ranrok then said "there is no need for that just give me what you found here and we can let bygones be byognes" and Simon Neville King pointed out "you do realise you're only about a quater of our height? You really shouldnt pick fights with those biger than you". Ranrok luthed "and what diffance does that make when magic's conerned" and then the Goblin banker from before intrupted

He was telling Ranrok that they have the key and Ranrok got pissy with him "choose your next words wisley. Also why is there a dick drawn on your head?". The banker Goblin ingored the seconed question and contiuned saying he was only premited to grant acess to the ones with the key and they have the key not him. Ranrok killed the Goblin by slaming him into the floor.

"See size doesn't matter" Ranrok sneer at Simon Neville King but Profesor Fig demanded "I'm not giving you anything". So Ranrok said "well maybe your young freind here will" and Simon Neville King sneered "am meant to be impressed that other Goblin was the same size as you, pipsqueak. I would like to see you pull that on a large target". So Ranrok sayed "so be it" and shot red energy from his wand which Profsor Fig countred and as they were dukeing it out Ranrok pulled his other hand up and blasted them into the wall.

THen the gaint statue guard woke up and walked towards Ranrok, the chain smoking gaurd goblin and the goblin in Neverwinter Nights armour. The goblin trio were takien aback by this and the statue attacked them. So Simon Neville King and Profesor Fig took that moment to escape though the good profesor tried to examine the statue abit or maybe fight it and almost got kiled. They did magae to ge though the portal in the ends though and that is good.

They were wondering where they are but Profesor Fig figured out they are in Hogwarts grounds and Simon Neville King commewnted "well ins't that conveaint" and Profesor Fig respionds saying "it is indeed whoever set this up must have built for somone like you do find. But come we have sorting cermony to get to" and as they were heading to Hogwarts the Hogwarts express was coming into the station.

They came to entranc of the great hall and Prefsor Figh was telling Simon Neville King that he will have to contact the M.O.M about this and that it is to be a seacrate between them until moar is known. Than he opened the door and peeked in and was spotted by the Headmaster who struted over. Prefosor Fig sighed about this and told Simon Neville King to be prepaired to meat the Headmaster. Profesor Fig was annoyed and told them the cemomry was Finnish and they were late. Profesor Fig try to explain about Goblins but Headmaster Black wasn't having any of that and said it was just rumours. He ended saying "I am rapidly losing what parchents I have left" and than he turned to Simon Neville King and sayed "if you're lucky we might be able to get you sorted this evening" and Simon Neville King had to ask "but headmaster what happens if I can't get sorted will not be in a house?" and Black said "If you cant be sorted then you will just have to sleep in a spare cubard and be sorted early tomorrow morning. It will teach you a lesson about being late".

Simon Neville King followed Headmaster Black to the sorting hat and the Hedmaster told Profesor Weesley that there one moar to be sorted and Simon Neville King is in luck he can be sorted as she said he is just in time. The sorting hat is palced on his head and he sorting hat commented "oh yes your abit older than the overs. You come here we precomcentions" and Simon Neville King said "yes I hope there is some fine loking ladies I can woo" and sorting hat sighed "yes I detected that you have a lustfull mind but you are here to learn not go on amorous adventures. But what house could you belong let's see what else do I detect from you..."
