"Chapter 3: Training before the others"
The Pound Puppies and Z Fighters were still uneasy about what happened yesterday with Milton Feltwadddle. "Why did he look at us like that? Are we his next victims?" Samantha said. "Maybe. But all that matters is that we're okay and he's gone." Jaco responded. Mark and Lucas were still wondering what was Milton Feltwadddle wanting from them after yesterday's accident. The Pound Puppies knew Milton had to be stop at all costs, or that's what they thought. "He could preparing something sinister. Think of the chances he has against us. We are just dogs and he's more superior than us." Cookie said. Lucas turned to The dogs as he began to talk. "Don't think that way. You all may be dog's, but you have had multiple adventures before I joined and you even stopped an alien prince from taking over the world. You guys are awesome and don't forget that." Lucas said to the Pound Puppies. "That's what my mom always said to me before she... died." Lucas said as he began to tear up. "What happened to your mom Lucas? Where is she now?" Slick asked Lucas. "My mom was also a general but lower class. She was two years younger than dad and had the best personality ever. She left me when I was 14, because she had to go to Syria to stop some terrorists. She died before she could escape. She was buried by my dad's old childhood house in Osaka, Alaska. I know she's proud of me and my family." Lucas said as he got more tearful. He was eventually hugged by his brother Mark as he calmed down. "Your mother is very proud of you Lucas, you should go see her next time." Cookie said to Lucas. "You know Lucky, I always wanted to tell you this, but never had the chance." Slick said. "It's about mom isn't it?" Lucky asked. "Yeah, you're right." Slick said. "Your mother was killed by Milton Feltwadddle, he killed her before I left you when you were young." Slick said as he began to tear up. Everyone was surprised at what Slick had just said. Lucky tears rolled down as he soon wailed like a baby. The dogs hugged him as he cried out loud. Mcleish and Olaf heard the conversation and felt bad for Lucky. He had a tough childhood and finally reunited with his dad and half brother, but had learned the dark truth about his mothers death. "I will avenge my mother by stopping Milton Feltwadddle." Lucky said. "But how?" Mark asked as he wondered about the outcome. "Training." Lucas said. Everyone gasped as Lucas said training. "But we don't have the skills." Squirt said. "I can show you." Jaco said. "My father has a training center here." Jaco said as he got up. "Follow me." Jaco commanded. The Pound Puppies, Super Secret Pup Club, D7, and rest of the Z Fighters followed Jaco into the direction of the training center. It was a moderate distance from the pound's location.
30 Minutes Later...
The gang eventually made it the training centers location. It was by the mayor's office building. Jaco soon let everyone inside and entered the building. Jaco's father, Apollo, was meditating in his office and saw the gang eventually noticed him. Apollo had the same white long hair like Jaco but 2 inches longer. He also had white bushy mustache. He also had a staff made out of some tough and thick wood. Apollo was taller than Jaco and supported Jaco whether he was training, fighting, or in a friendly competition. Apollo was one of the many chiefs of the Iroquois Nation in the northeast. Apollo was a single parent since his wife died in a violent attack. He only had two children, Jaco and Melissa, who were twins. Melissa had the same white long hair like Jaco but girl style. She was a pacifist in most situations, only showing anger when enraged or pressured. She also adored nature and literature. "So, how's Melissa?" Jaco asked his dad. "She's Alright. She got admitted into a literacy club at school." Apollo said. "I heard of your pleads, so I came here for guidance and wisdom, for all of you." He said. "One quick fact about my dad, he often uses major words, which can be confusing at first" Jaco said. "We are here to work and help each other out. We'll also use our time wisely and try to become more useful." Apollo said. "So let's begin our training." He said as they begun. It took 4 hours of training, breaks, Testing their abilities, and lessons to increase all their power levels by 25 points. They all knew it was going to difficult to stop Milton.
By the time they stopped, they were ready to take on Milton Feltwadddle, but Apollo gave them a message. "Before you face the evil man, be very aware his devilish plans. He shall test all you to your limit, but beware his sinister minions." He said in riddle form, fortunately everyone expect Mark knew what he meant. They all soon departed and went back to their houses, unsure about the next potential threat. Over by the mayor's building, Mecha watched the Z Fighters walked home. "Targets found, initiating violence protocol." Mecha said as he disappeared without being noticed. The next possible threat was coming.
