She'd just come from a warmed early morning shower the promise of coffee or the very least a promised mug of cocoa tickling her nose clade in nothing save a loosely wrapped fluffy sky-blue towel around her nakedness as she padded barefoot out of the bathroom when she spies a rather picturesque setting waiting for her out in the adjoining bedroom.

Lucky for her, her subject was too absorbed in her own creation to notice the archer's stealthy reaching for the cell phone left on the small table beside the bathroom door along with the other retrieved things cluttering Robin's pant pockets before her jeans had been added to the growing washing pial in the already groaning hamper beside the bedroom door.

Alice softly hummed some tune Robin couldn't easily name to herself as she lightly added a little more shading to one corner of her latest painted creation set on the easel Alice had drug towards the side of the bed whilst Robin had been in the shower.

Robin chews her lower lip as she quietly unlocks her phone to pull up the camera app wanting to preserve the truly captivating scene before her.

Yes, since the breaking of this latest cure and even a hand full of times before and even one single time during the curse a scene like this one or ones with a little more clothing involved wasn't so uncommon for the young couple, yet Robin greedily treasured each one as if it were the first and the last she'd ever be able to witness.

True the single time Margot had had the pleasure of witnessing such a scene it hadn't been under the best of circumstances what with it involving a heartbroken Tilly showing up on her fire escape in the dead of night and under the oh-so-chilling backdrop of a rainstorm to boot ending with Robin's cursed hazed self-being exiled however self directedly so and for all of five minutes to the sofa that night before Tilly had begged her back into the room she'd offered up to her late night visitor.

As heartbreaking as it was to see even without the flashes of the storm highlighting Tilly's huddled form Margot had thought to snap a similar image like Robin was attempting now as she steadied her phone camera on the softly glowing scene gracing her bedroom. The golden haze of a new day bathed the scene and for Robin only highlighted the already captivating golden coloring of her fiancée's unruly hair as it spilled out from the haphazard ponytail Alice had pulled it into before setting to work.

The scene etched into the canvas that morning hadn't been the easiest for either Tilly or Margot to understand. Robin and Alice however knew at once the half-finished thing had been Tilly's rendering of their last huddled moment together before the curse had ripped them apart once the canvas had been found tucked among the clutter of Margot's closet.

It only takes a maneuvered glance at what the archer could see of the stretched canvas now for Robin to breathe a little easier once she'd assured herself the scene holding her fiancée captive wasn't as dark as that one.

Alice had gingerly finished the thing Tilly had so sadly started but only from her unwavering seat across Robin's lap as the archer steadily held her whilst she worked. Every hesitating brush stroke earned a reassuring press of a kiss against the creating artist's shoulder, with once or twice Robin taking over in the process herself under Alice's careful directions until Alice had declared the thing finally finished.

Again, another deeper breath of the blended brewing of cocoa and coffee ticking her nose, the soft yet auditable notes of Alice's hummed song against her ears, and the shaking but real weight of her cellphone in her raised hand all converge to ground Robin's worried mind to the point that unlike what that not so happy yet skillfully rendered scene showed the curse had been broken once again.

The leg Alice wasn't using to brace herself against the floor wedged just a little more inwards as the lost-in-thought artist moved just a little closer towards her creation in her already simi-precarious balancing against the edge of the mattress as she worked.

"I would say take a photograph it'll last a lot longer, but you seem to have already thought of that, my clever love." Alice muses without taking her gaze away from some point she was currently focusing along the painted canvas before her.

"What can I say?" Robin says her tone a blending of guilty and bashful as she finally got around to snapping her longed-for snapshot before letting her phone drop yet again onto the tabletop. "I'm not nearly as good of an artist as you so I catch my art in photographs…"

"Or cages as I recall." Alice jokes adding a little more greenery to her picture as she spoke a purr of a teasing giggle layering her words as the bed gives a warning dip as Robin climbs back onto the bedspread-covered mattress behind her. Alice's sighed reminding her about dampening the bed what with Robin being not completely dried off from her shower forgotten for the moment in her longing to have her love closer once again.

"Never going to live that one down, am I?" Robin sighed her tone low and dripping with husky dramatics as she hooked her chin over her fiancées' shoulder to get a better honest look at the scene Alice was attempting to recreate with canvas and paints as her arms of their own wonderings coming to rest along the warmed skin of Alice's stomach now as the archer snuggled in against her artists back.

"Not a chance, love" Alice snickered adding a little more brownish shading along what she'd made visible of the bench's wooden backing supports.

"I already said I was sorry." Robin remembered nuzzling her face against the crook of Alice's neck at the reminder.

"Aye, you have." Alice agrees tilting her head backward enough to catch her archer's eye.

Taking the hint Robin brings her lips level with Alice's ear. "Alice, I am so very sorry I called you my spy and chased you into my snare trap." The archer says feeling more than seeing Alice melting back into her hold.

A thrilled shiver races up and down Alice's back at the purred title. All thoughts of painting or the now burning flavors of their morning beverages were forgotten as she turned her head more towards the darkening grey-green coloring she'd tried over and over to capture in drawings and paintings but was always unable to find just the right shading to hold with the color now holding her so welcomely hostage.

"Say it properly, love," Alice instructs making the easel she was working with walk itself a much safer distance away from the edge of the bed with a quick snap of her fingers. Her gaze never once strays from Robin's as she does so.

Robin's smile was softer now as she scoots back into the middle of the bed, coaxing her lover along as Alice's arms slide around her shoulders; Alice's fingers contently braided against the back of her head as they two looked at one another. "Don't move, spy." The archer repeats reaching up to graze the pad of her finger against the tip of Alice's nose.

"Fine by me." Alice sighs making herself more comfortable half-sprawled against Robin's towel-covered front as they lay stretched out along their shared bed. Robin's skilled fingers made quick work of freeing Alice's hair from the confines of the hair ribbon she'd used to secure it.

Soon the sounds of Alice's kitten-like snores fill the quiet space as Robin's fingers lightly massage the napping woman's scalp as Robin quietly changes the image of her phone background to the picture, she'd taken some moments before as the subject of said picture snuggled more against her side as she slept.
