It was Valentine's Day on the Island of Sodor. In the village of Ffarquhar, 24 year old engine driver with black hair and blue eyes, Thomas Billinton was buying a gift for his beloved Lady Stone.
He and Lady had both known each other since they were both 6 years old. They first met whilst in senior infants at primary school, they both became the best of friends, often visiting each other's house either after school or during the weekends and on holidays.
However it was ten years later on their sixteenth birthdays that they realized that they were both deeply in love with each other and it was on sunny Friday afternoon that they both confessed their love for each other. Just two months ago, shortly before Christmas, Thomas had asked Lady to move in with him, a request that Lady had only too happy accepted.
He was in jewellery shop looking for the ring that he had saved up three months' worth of salary for, he soon found it where he had first seen it three months ago. The owner of the jewellery shop came up to him and noticed that he was looking at a particular ring.
"You looking to buy my young friend?" the owner asked.
"I sure am Sir" replied Thomas.
"Well are able to afford it, because it is quite expensive" the owner mentioned.
Thomas nodded as he took out his wallet and took the money that was in it and handed it to the owner who carefully counted it. He saw that Thomas had handed him the right amount that the ring was worth.
"I see that you have saved up for it I see?" asked the owner.
"I invested a whole three months wages" replied Thomas.
"A whole three months" said the owner impressed, "you really must have wanted it?".
"I sure did" said Thomas, "I plan on asking my girlfriend the question".
"Well you certainly made the right choose in saving up for this ring" smiled the owner.
The owner then placed the ring into a small box which he then placed into a bag for Thomas.
"Thank you Sir" said Thomas.
Thomas then left the jewellery shop and headed back to his and Lady's apartment. Hours later, Lady came home from her father Burnetts house, Lady was a very beautiful woman with long blonde hair and brown eyes.
"Thomas I'm home" Lady called as she entered the apartment.
"I'm in the sitting room" called Thomas.
Lady entered the sitting and sure enough, she found Thomas sitting on the couch. Thomas noticed that she was holding a bag, no doubt containing a Valentines Day gift for him.
"May I ask what's your gift to me?" Thomas asked with a mischievous grin.
"I'll show you" said Lady with a mischievous grin of her own.
Lady took Thomas' gift out of the bag she was carrying. Sure enough it was a little stuffed elephant with a hear that said I love you on it, Thomas took the gift with a smile.
"Thank you Lady" said Thomas sincerely.
"Now where's my gift?" asked Lady.
"Oh don't worry I got you one alright" said Thomas, "but it will have to wait until later".
"And why's that?" asked Lady.
"Because I just booked us a table at our favourite restaurant" said Thomas with a smile.
"You mean Scotch Bonnet?" Lady asked excitedly.
"I sure do" replied Thomas, "I book us for half six, so we better get ready".
Thomas and Lady both then went to get ready for their date and to change. When they were ready, it was already quarter past 6, Thomas then called them a taxi which brought them down to the village. Thomas wore a blue tuxedo with a white shirt and a red tie, Lady wore a strapless magenta dress and high heels. They arrived at Scotch Bonnet where Thomas paid the taxi driver the fare and then they went in.
"May I help you two?" asked the waiter when they entered the restaurant.
"Yes please, Thomas Billinton, a table for two at half six," said Thomas.
The waiter then quickly looked through the bookings and saw Thomas' name.
"Ah here you are Mr. Billinton, this way please" the waiter said as he lead Thomas and Lady to their table.
Thomas and Lady both sat down as the waiter quickly left them for a few moments, he then returned with a pair of menus. He then handed the menus to Thomas and Lady who looked through to see what they were both going to order.
"Now what shall your order be?" the waiter asked as he pulled out his notebook.
"We'll have a bowl of barbequed chickens for starters, for the main I'll have a ribeye steak, medium rare with skinny fries and for dessert, a chocolate fudge cake with ice cream" said Thomas
"I'll have a burger and fries with the same dessert as him" said Lady.
"Excellent and what will you two have to drink?" asked the waiter.
"We'll both have a pair of Coca-Colas" said Thomas.
"Excellent choice" said the waiter as he took their menus.
Thomas and Lady enjoyed their meal very much. The reason why Scotch Bonnet was their favourite was because the food was always delicious, this was why they came here every so often. They had just finished when Lady spoke.
"I don't think that I could eat another bite" said Lady as she wiped a piece of ice cream off her mouth.
"Nor can I" said Thomas.
"Happy Valentine's Day Thomas," said Lady.
"Happy Valentine's Day to you to Lady" said Thomas.
Thomas then decided that this would be the right time to ask Lady the question.
"Lady" said Thomas in a serious voice.
"What is it Thomas?" asked Lady, concerned at the serious tone.
Thomas then stood up and walked over to Lady. Then much to her surprise, he dropped down on one knee and took out the box and opened it. Lady's heart burst when she saw the diamond ring it contained.
"Lady Stone" said Thomas with emotion in his voice, "you are the kindest, most beautiful girl I have ever known. We have known each other since we were six years old and this is why I'm asking you, is this. Lady Stone will you marry me?".
Thomas then slipped the ring onto her ring finger. Lady's eyes then welled up with tears when she saw that it was a perfect fit, she then looked at Thomas who had pleading look that she would accept his proposal on his face.
"Oh Thomas" Lady said at last, "yes I will marry you".
Thomas then stood up and spun Lady around in happiness. The entire restaurant cheered at the newly engaged couple, they were also going to get another surprise.
"You two are engaged to be married?" came a very familiar voice.
Thomas and Lady's ears perked up when they heard the familiar voice. Standing there was a stout gentleman wearing a black top hat, a black tail coat, a yellow waistcoat, grey trousers and white spats. This was Sir Topham Hatt, the director of the North Western Railway and their employer.
"Sir Topham Hatt" said Thomas in surprise, "what are you doing here?".
"I brought Lady Hatt here for Valentine's Day and it turns out that you brought young Lady here so that you could propose to her".
"That Thomas did Sir" said Lady with a smile on her face.
"Well then" said Sir Topham Hatt with a smile on his face, "how about you two have the day off tomorrow in celebration of your engagement".
"You really mean it Sir?" asked Thomas in surprise that his bosses words.
"I sure do Thomas" smiled Sir Topham Hatt, "you and Lady have both been working very hard lately and I think that you both deserve it".
"Oh thank you Sir" said Lady happily.
Thomas paid the bill for his and Lady's food before they both left Scotch Bonnet. Because it was such a beautiful night, they decided to walk home instead of getting a taxi. They were walking by the river. The moon was out and it beams shone on the water, making it look.
Thomas and Lady were both walking by the river when she noticed it and stopped.
"What is it Lady?" asked Thomas.
"Look how beautiful the river looks with the moon shinning on it" said Lady.
"Its beautiful alright, but no where near as beautiful as you" replied Thomas.
Lady smiled at Thomas before stepping forward and kicking off her high heels. Thomas wondered what she was doing, but to his surprise she unzipped her dress and dropped it at her feet before stepping out of it. Thomas noticed that she wasn't wearing a bra or underwear, she stood there completely naked, his eyes glued to her beautifully shaped buttocks.
Lady turned her head around and saw him starring at her, Thomas then tried to avert his eyes but to no avail, Lady however gave a smile at this.
"Alright Thomas" Lady said, "clothes off now".
"What?" said Thomas in shock.
"You heard me" said Lady, "you saw me naked, now it's my turn".
"You sure?" asked Thomas.
"Yes I'm sure Thomas" said Lady with a naughty grin, "besides you might even get lucky tonight".
Hearing those words made Thomas excited, without saying another word, he began to eagerly strip off his clothes. Soon he stood naked before Lady, Lady was very impressed by Thomas' physic.
"I must say those trips to the gym have really worked wonders on you" said Lady.
"Well lets just say that Gordon's bragging about him being the strongest has now backfired on him" replied Thomas.
Smiling, Lady then held out her hand to Thomas who then took it. Without saying another word, both Thomas and Lady ran towards the water and dived in. Despite it been February, the water was quite warm. For two hours it seemed, Thomas and Lady swum naked through the water, but then they both swam back to the riverbank.
They both then laid there on the riverbank, Thomas had taken Lady into his arms and they kissed. Their tongues slid into each other's mouths and interlocked, Lady felt Thomas' hand slide down to massage her backside. She then looked down at his manhood, where to her surprise was fully erect, this got her excited as she looked at Thomas.
"You ready to get lucky?" she asked.

Thomas and Lady then both got dressed and headed home. A few weeks later, Thomas came home after a day of engine driving. Lady was already there, she had been taking the past few days off after getting sick at work one day.
Thomas then entered the apartment and noticed her sitting in the kitchen with something in her hand.
"Lady what is?" asked Thomas as he entered the kitchen.
"Thomas I don't know how to tell you this" she began.
"Tell me what Lady?" asked Thomas.
Lady then handed him the object that she had in her hand, Thomas' eyes then widened when he saw what it was.
"I'm sorry about this Thomas, I should have suggested that we use protection that night but" said Lady a little upset.
But much to her surprise, Thomas then took her into his arms and spun around with excitement.
"Lady this is the happiest day of my life" said Thomas with pure happiness in his voice.
The object was a pregnancy test and it read positive.
And done. This took me a full two days to write and I must say I'm pleased with how it turned out.
