The people the Autobots trusted are Tricia, Roberta, Howard Stark and many others. The Autobots revealed who they are and that they use Human Aliases to protect they're Autobots identities when they are in Human selves.
Tony Starkis in his lab welding something together, something that's red and has a hand. He finishes and his friendJames Rhodes, or Rhodey, walks over seeing that it is a suit of armor with a yellow face. However, Rhodey says thatTony's fatherwill just invent something better, but Tony doesn't believe so. Tony wants to show it off to his father and Optimus and asks Rhodey to come along. But Rhodey has to go to school, unlike Tony. The two walk away leaving the armor alone.Tony: "We'll, what do you think." Rhodey: "Colorful but you know your dad is going to invent something to top this. I mean you guys are like two evil geniuses."Tony: "Not this time Rhodey. This one's different, he's going to freak out."Tony: "Come with me to show him and Optimus." Rhodey: "Yeah some of us have to go to school Tony, you ever heard of it." Tony: "Sounds awful. I'll call you tonight to let you know how it went." Rhodey: "Ah yeah. I'm holding my breath starting right... now."
Tony walks up toStark International'sStark Towergreeting a man on the way in. He rides up andelevatorand gets off on his father's floor. There are people happily walking around everywhere. He greets everyone on the way to his father's office. He knows everyone's name includingTricia, his father's secretary. She tells him that his father's inside and lets him in.Tony: "Hi Trish." Tricia: "Well look who finally came out of his lab, your dad's inside Tony."
In Howard Starks Office
His father, Howard Stark and his closest friend Orion Pax, who he and Tony and a few people knew his real name is Optimus Prime leader of the Autobots from the Planet Cybertron. Howard and Orion are looking at severalholographicimages, one of which is a ring withChinesesymbols on it. When Tony enters he stops the image of the ring. Howard talks to someone on the phone telling him to begin theEarthmovertrial run, and that he and Orion we'll bring the ring with them.Howard: "No go ahead with the Earthmover trail run, Orion and I will be at the site in an hour and we'll have the ring with us." Howard: "Good we'll see you then." Howard hangs up and Tony asks if thelasershe designed will be running. Howard presses a button opening the window cover allowing sunlight in. The office is bright and warm. Optimus tells his student that they tested them already and are trying them out that day. Howard and Orion offers to let Tony come and see but the boy wants to show his father and Mentor something big.Tony: "Are the lasers system I designed for your Earthmovers up and running yet, or are you too still in ancient history mode." Howard laughs: "Very funny." Orion: "They've already completed testing the lasers and they're using them on the field today, want to come see it with us." Tony: "Actually I got something to show you too at the testing grounds something big." Howard: "Big huh. We'll in that case." Just then,Obadiah Stanebursts into the room despite Tricia's efforts. Obadiah wants to know why Howard rejected his proposal to turn the Earthmovers into a weapon for the military. He believes that Howards is costing the company billions by not building weapons. However, Howard notes that it is his company and he can do as he wishes. Obadiah storms out.Stane: "Howard." Howard: "It's okay Trish what can I do for you Obadiah." Stane: "Why did you reject my proposal for repurposing the Earthmovers. The military would pay billions for them once they been modified." Howard: "Modified, you want to turn in an invention intended to make people's lives better into a weapon, that's not going to happen." Stane: "This is insane Howard. You're costing this company and our share holder's." Howard: "A Fortune I know but Stark International is my company." Stane: "Howard please be reasonable." Howard: "It's my company and my word is final." Howard tells his son that they will test out the Earthmovers and then see what Tony wanted to show him. They leave the office.Tony: "I don't think Obadiah is too happy with you." Howard laughs: "I think your right. Now Orion and I have one quick stop to make and then we'll go see what's got you so excited."
Later, flying in ajetHoward is explaining to his son about theMakluan Rings. He tells of a story that says Chinese explorers came to theNew Worldlong before theEuropeans. He believes that the Makluan Rings, which were believed to bemagic, were actually advanced technology even by today's standards that predated theIndustrial Revolutionby hundreds, possibly thousands of years. He shows that he's wearing one of the supposed rings himself.However, Tony finds the whole thing boring. Just then they fly above the Earthmover test site and Howard points it out. He says that they'll be testing Tony's laser technology. The plane begins its descent.Tony: "For someone who's supposed to be shaping the future you're hobby's are really old school." Howard laughs then Orion walked up to them. Orion: "Where here." Howard: "Take a look smart guy, there's your genius at work down there." Down below the Earthmover walks into position. It is a massive robot walking on six enormous legs. Other vehicles are sitting around it. The technicians activate it's laser. Underneath the laser blasts into the ground revealingTerracotta soldiers.On a nearby tower, Howard and Orion explains that the Tony's invention will revolutionizearcheologyand even disaster relief with it's pinpoint laser and seismographic readings. Tony jokes that the Earthmover is better than his father's last invention and Howard feigns grounding him.Orion: "Combined with real times seismic graphing readings." Howard: "The Earthmover will not only revolutionize archaeology, but just imagine the benefits for disaster relief. collapse buildings cave-ins your invention will save lives Tony." Tony: "It also made your last invention look like a 5th grade science project." Howard: "Yeah and that's why I'm grounding you for a month." Tony gasp: "What." Howard: "You're so easy it's not even fun." Technician: "Howard." A technician walks up with a suitcase and Howard puts his ring into it. Howard explains that they are analyzing the ring to compare it to the artifacts they just uncovered. He believes that studying the ring will allow them to unlock their secrets. Tony: "What giving up your magic ring." Howard: "Only for the day we've been doing some new analysis of it and some new artifacts we've been finding here at the site."Orion: "Or we can learn about it, the better chance we have to unlocked the rings secrets." Howard says he and Orion will now see what Tony wanted to show him and the two leave.Howard: "Okay genius let's get to the testing grounds and see what you got." Then Orion's communicator beep.
