'I hope some of these kids show potential, I'm not wasting my time on anyone without it' Aizawa thinks to himself while waiting for the class to finish getting changed

As the last member walks out of the changing rooms he speaks up "That took you ten whole minutes to get changed, that length of time won't cut it in the real world, ten minutes can be the difference between someone living and dying. Do better"

"As I said in class I'm Shota Aizawa and we're out here to determine what you can do, you will be using your quirks for this test; anyone not going Plus Ultra will be expelled in addition to whoever comes last." He adds

'So Harsh' the class think

"Bakugo come here, tell me, what was the furthest you could throw in middle school?"

"About sixty-seven meters sir"

"How about you try again, but use your quirk this time"

'HA, this is gonna be easy, I'll show them all that I'm the best and Deku will be crying under me once again' Bakugo muses to himself grinning

"As long as you stay in the circle anything goes"

Bakugo takes the ball from Mr Aizawa, and walks over to the circle. He breathes in and out while clenching his fist to build up some additional sweat, with his hand sufficiently coated in the nitroglycerin-esque substance he cocks his arm back, ball in hand and launches the ball using the full force of his quirk

"DIE!"

'Die!?' Izuku thinks. 'Well, he hasn't changed I suppose'

Following the shout from Bakugo, a massive explosion takes place causing Jiro and Shoji to wince and the rest of the class to take a step back from the pressure created by the blast

"Seven hundred meters, nice job," Aizawa said with no inflection in his voice

"YEAH! This is gonna be fun!" Ashido made the mistake of exclaiming

"Fun... You think this is gonna be fun? You have three years here to learn to be a hero, to save the lives of others. You. Will. Not. Treat. This. As. A. Game. Am I Clear?"

"Yes sir" chorused the class

'Wow, Mr Aizawa is so serious, then again it makes sense we do have to make sure that we are the best heroes we can be, even though he's tough I'm sure he means well...' Izuku mutters

"DEKU SHUT UP"

Izuku blinks then covers his mouth realising he was muttering out loud again

"Sorry!"

The tests began with Izuku and Tenya. They lined up next to each other for the 50 Meter Dash. Tenya's engines started to rev

'I won't be able to get any further than third gear' he thinks

Lightning starts coursing around Izuku, jumping and arching across his limbs.

'I'm only going to use 20%, any more and I risk pulling a muscle'

'Kid, you can do this, I believe in you' Nana said comfortingly

The gun sounds and the 'race' begins, Tenya flies off the starting line along with Izuku. In an instant, they were both past the finishing line.

"Izuku Midoriya, 3.1 seconds. Tenya Iida, 3 seconds" chimed the robot

Next came the grip strength test. Each member of the class was given their own hand-held device to test their strength. Everyone had already shown Mr Aizawa their test scores with the exception of Shoji and Izuku.

"Wow, 540 kilos! That's so manly my guy" Kirishima excitedly exclaimed to which Aizawa noted it down

'Well if I'm stood still shouldn't I use that huge amount I did the other day' Izuku wondered

'Go for it kid, what's the worst that could happen' replied Nana

'Well I could break my arm for a start'

'It'll be fine, anyway, Chiyo will just heal you if you do'

'Chiyo?'

'Yeah, Recovery Girl, she was my friend a long time ago'

'Right, let's get to it then'

Once again allowing the power to flow through him, he pushes it from 20% up to 35%, the electricity around him became much more violent and his hair lifted up slightly.

'Something's different about him. He's not using the power he did at the entrance exam' Aizawa mused

Izuku squeezed his hand and the machines started to register the score. Instead of giving him an answer he kept up the grip and increased it. The machine ended up in fragments in his hand.

"Um, Mr Aizawa sir, I-I broke it"

"Alright kid, I'll just record it as the maximum score the machine can register" he replied noting down five thousand kilograms on his board, shaking his head.

'This kid is gonna be trouble'

Everyone cleared the long jump pit with the exception of Mineta, who fell face-first into the sand as he was trying to look at Momo's chest.

It circled back to the Ball Throw, with all those other than Bakugo taking their turns throwing.

Tokoyami gave his ball to Dark Shadow, who launched it and got a respectable 400 meters.

Uraraka got a score of infinity as she removed the effects of gravity from the ball.

Tenya threw the ball directly up in the air and using the power of his quirk he over-torqued his engine and kicked the ball as it was falling. He got 700 meters from that.

Momo made a cannon using her quirk and launched it 800 meters.

Shoto only managed 80 meters however he did the ball throw quirkless, much to Izuku's confusion.

'He could've easily used his fire to propel that. Why has he only used ice?'

Then came Izuku's turn. Mr Aizawa gave him the ball and he stepped up to the plate. Charging his quirk up to 20% he pulled back his arm and threw. "Fifty meters" even the robot sounded unimpressed

"Wha-What happened? I'm sure I used my quirk" Izuku said looking at his hand confused

"I erased your quirk, you've been slacking all day. I said anyone not going Plus Ultra would be expelled and so far you're going home" Aizawa said with his eyes glowing red and his hair in the air.

"But Sir, I am using my quirk" Izuku replied

"I watched the entrance exam, you took down a zero pointer in one punch and jumped one hundred meters into the air in less than a second. Yet it took you over three seconds to run fifty meters"

"I can't use my quirk at full power"

"No excuse, your lack of control could cause someone to die one day. Plus Ultra or go home Midoriya, your choice. I've returned your quirk"

'Damn, what do I do? Nana, I need help'

'You have to do it. Remember what I said, Recovery Girl will heal you'

'Fine, I'll do it, but I'm not happy I have to break my arm on the first day'

"Fine, I'll do it sir, but you'd better step back" raising his voice he shouted to the class, "Anyone with sensitive hearing cover your ears and all of you make sure you're holding on to something"

"HA, what are you gonna do Deku, cry the ball away?"

"He can't use that! It hurt him last time!" exclaimed Uraraka

"I'll make us something to hold on to" came the voice of Momo

Even Aizawa heeded Midoriya's word and stepped back

'Kid, you're gonna need a name for this' Nana advised

'Easy, I'm calling it Infinite 100%, at least it will be once my arm doesn't break' Izuku replied

Instead of his usual slow progression of allowing a certain amount of power into his body, Izuku opened the floodgate. The full 100% was building inside of him. Green lightning was flying everywhere hitting everyone in the class but causing no harm. The ground started shaking as the immense power of One For All was being allowed freedom.

In the teacher's lounge

"What on Earth is going on?" murmured Toshinori "Only Young Midoriya could be doing this"

Quickly switching into his All Might form he sprinted out of the teacher's lounge at full speed to the sports area.

'I won't miss this for the world Young Midoriya! Your first 100%, I'm surprised you can handle it so quickly'

(He can't)

Back at the sports area

The power was continuing to build. Izuku's skin had started glowing. The sleeves of his UA kit had torn off with sparkling red and green lines covering his skin.

"DEKU, WHAT THE HELL IS THIS"

As the power reached its crescendo Izuku's hair started to glow a brilliant green and it lifted off his head.

'This hurts Nana'

'Best get it over with quick then kid, I'm not gonna sugar-coat it. This is gonna hurt'

'Plus Ultra I suppose' he said sweatdropping

He cocked back his arm and launched the ball forwards.

"SMAAAASSSSHHHH" he screamed

The instant the ball left his hand multiple sonic booms were created along with intense winds whipping back at the class. All but Aizawa were blasted over and all were in shock at the display

"Infinity" came the voice of the robot

As the dust cleared it was revealed that Izuku was standing in a crater with a swollen purple arm

"Like you said sir, Plus Ultra" he grimaced

'This kid!' Aizawa thought

"Well done Midoriya, you've survived another day. I won't ask you to use your full power again until you can handle it, but you need to focus on being able to use that without breaking yourself. Now, go and see Recovery Girl and report back here quickly"

Roughly 10 minutes later

"Here are the results"

1st – Izuku Midoriya

2nd – Momo Yaoyorozu

3rd – Tenya Iida

4th – Katsuki Bakugo

5th – Shoto Todoroki

…

20th – Minoru Mineta

"As you can see this shows you all where you stand in terms of power, Mineta report to Nezu's office, you're done," said Mr Aizawa unimpressed

"But sir, everyone always says you do this to push people" he argued back

"It is usually a logical ruse, however, you show no potential and no desire to be a hero. The only thing you did today was ogle your female classmates, something not befitting of a hero in training" Aizawa replied

Mineta ran off to the Principal's office crying

"Wow, even I thought it was a logical ruse..." said a shocked Momo

"Poor Mineta" said Kaminari

The class started to walk inside to get changed for the rest of homeroom. Aizawa walked instead along the side of the building in front

"I was impressed with them Aizawa"

"All Might... shouldn't you be brushing up on your teaching rather than spying on my new class"

"I felt the ground shaking so I thought it might be a villain attack, you certainly pushed Young Midoriya too hard there"

"Oh you know Midoriya do you? Isn't it a bit early to be playing favourites All Might?" he replied snarkily

"I just saw potential in him and I didn't want to see it wasted by him playing it safe"

Aizawa turned on his heel and walked away leaving All Might in his wake

'I knew you saw something in him too, speaking of Young Midoriya I need to talk with him, I'll message him to meet me after school'

Later that day at the beach

Izuku walked to the beach and sat down on the bench at the end of the pier next a skeletal blonde man.

"What's up All Might?"

"Remember it Toshinori in this form please Young Midoriya"

"Ah sorry, Al... Toshinori"

Toshinori laughed "I felt that power you used today, was that the first time you've used One For All at 100%?"

"Yes sir, it was, it really hurt but I would've been expelled if I hadn't"

"I doubt that, I think Aizawa was just testing your resolve"

"No sir, he was completely serious"

"Well I already spoke to him about it, I saw it, I'm not sure even I could use all that power without some blowback"

Laughing Izuku replied "You're the Symbol of Peace and the best hero in the world, I'm sure you'd have been fine"

"Seriously Young Midoriya! You are going to be stronger than me, it's how One For All works, and it gets stronger with each new user. So how did 100% feel?"

"It didn't feel weird, sort of felt familiar."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, I had someone helping me. You might think I'm crazy but I have people talking to me in my head that know things about One For All"

"W-What!?" Exlaimed Toshinori

"She's having fun right now but she told me to call you Toshi and to remind you that the strongest in this world are always smiling" smiled Izuku to All Might

"M-Master?"

"Yeah, she's sort of coaching me in my head, she said I will be getting more quirks because One For All has reached the singularity point and that I'm starting with hers"

"Wow, all this time and I never knew, my master was literally watching over me"

"She's really pretty isn't she"

"I know right"

'You boys know I can hear both of you?' Nana said in Izuku's head laughing

'Hey, you don't sound like you're complaining' Izuku replied

'Well I haven't had a compliment in over forty years!'

"How is she?" Toshinori asked Izuku

"She seems happy, always smiling and if there is one thing she can do its talk" he replied laughing

'HEY, I HAVEN'T HAD A CONVERSATION IN FORTY YEARS, GIMME A BREAK!'

"Aaand now she's shouting in my head"

'Tell the big lug that eventually we, the vestiges, may be able to materialise outside your body for a short period of time'

"All Might. Sorry, Toshinori, she said the vestiges may one day be able to become visible to those who aren't me"

"Wow, I might be able to see her again" puffing up "I'll be able to show her that I AM HERE"

Nana snickered at his antics

"Right Young Midoriya let's spar, you need some more training"

Author Notes:

So I know some of you like Mineta, but I don't like the character and I don't think his quirk would be that fun to write, which is why I had Aizawa expel him. Also, if you just see some speech marks with no name attached but the character is saying Deku, just assume its Bakugo lol.

I use speech marks for characters speaking out loud and apostrophes for when characters are thinking in their heads or for One For All to communicate with Izuku.
