"All Might!?" all but Izuku shouted
"I knew you were teaching here this year but I thought you'd be teaching the older students!" Tsu remarked
"Wow, so manly dude, look at his costume! It's from his silver age!"
"I'll beat you! Fight me"
"Ma cape scintille"
"Now now students, I AM HERE! as your teacher not the Symbol of Peace. We can go through anything you'd like to ask at the end of the lesson but for now I'd like you all to focus on what we're going to do okay?"
That was met with a resounding "YES SIR"
All Might pulled a script out of his pocket to the dismay of his students
'Really!? The Number One Hero needs notes!' was the thought going around the class
"Right our scenario is this... you will all be split into teams of two except one of you who shall be doing this on their own" All Might began
"I'll do it" Todoroki interrupted
"Fantastic Young Todoroki! You've saved me a job!" he smiled at the offspring of Endeavor. "Now for the scenario, there will be two heroes and two villains, the aim of the heroes is to defeat the villains by capturing them with the capture tape, knocking them out or touching the bomb. The job of the villains is to subdue the heroes or run the clock down until the bomb detonates. Any Questions?"
"Sir how are the villains to stop the heroes without knocking them out?" said Momo
"Great question Young Yaoyoruzu, they will be supplied with capture tape just like the heroes, if capture tape gets wrapped around you, you are out and cannot participate anymore. Anything else?"
Ashido was looking worried "Sir," she asked, "Um, is the bomb actually gonna like, go boom?"
"Heavens no! It is a fake bomb designed to simulate a real one, we wouldn't have you students go against real bombs!"
A sinister chuckle was heard on the tannoy system followed by a voice that sounded all too sweet, "Not yet at least HAHAHA" said Nezu
The class shuddered along with the Symbol of Peace at that declaration.
"Right then, teams!"
All Might had each student draw lots to determine the teams they were in while giving Shoto the option to be either hero or villain as he had offered to go it alone. He chose to be a hero.
"The teams are as follows; Shoto Todoroki vs Toru Hagakure and Mashirao Ojiro, Mezo Shoji and Tsuyu Asui vs Fumikage Tokoyami and Koji Koda, Mina Ashido and Eijiro Kirishima vs Yuga Aoyama and Rikido Sato, Denki Kaminari and Kyoka Jiro vs Tenya Iida and Ochaco Uraraka and finally Izuku Midoriya and Momo Yaoyorozu vs Katsuki Bakugo and Hanta Sero." he paused for a breath
"That's the battle order, good luck heroes and villains, go beyond. Those not fighting right now will come and observe the battles in the monitoring room with me"
"YES SIR"
All students except for Shoto, Toru and Ojiro left to go to the observation room. Toru and Ojiro then walked inside the building with the bomb to start planning. Shoto simply sat down and meditated.
'I don't need a strategy for this, their quirks are useless against mine. My ice will be more than enough; I won't need to use HIS fire' raged Todoroki in his mind. 'I'm going to freeze the building to a temperature so cold only I can move in there'
"BEGINNNNN!"
Shoto stood up and walked over to the entrance of the building, he stepped inside and placed his right hand on the wall. Concentrating all of his energy on the right side of his body he began cooling it rapidly, ice started to form on the walls of the building before quickly spreading. Within seconds the whole building was entrapped in a prison made of ice.
"W-What is this?" Toru asked teeth chattering
"I don't know but I can't move" Ojiro replied
In the observation room
All members of the class were shivering including All Might, Shoto had dropped the temperature so low that Tsu had started to go into hibernation.
"W-What the hell, this is a whole other level" came the both scared and impressed voice of Kaminari
"He has great control over his ice, he showed that in the recommendation exams" replied Momo
'Wow his ice is amazing, he has such expert control freezing only the building and nothing else around it. He's amazing' he thought (in reality he was muttering)
"SHUT UP DEKU YOU CREEPY BASTARD"
'Wow Young Todoroki, Endeavor must be training you well' he mused to himself
Shoto simply walked up the stairs towards the bomb knowing this was already won. He stepped into the room to be greeted by Ojiro shivering and a pair of footprints stuck in the ice. Ojiro readied his fighting stance.
"Don't bother, you won't be able to put up much of a fight with no skin on the soles of your feet. I'm sorry, we're just playing at completely different levels" Shoto remarked coldly.
He walked over to the 'bomb' and placed his hand on it releasing a huge burst of heat causing all the ice to melt and those in the observation room to stop shivering.
"HERO TEAM WINS!"
"Damn, I thought we'd at least do something" complained Toru to Ojiro.
All three of them walked back to the observation room for the assessment to be given to them.
"Well, who was the MVP of this round?"
A slender arm reached into the air, "Sir if I may, I believe Todoroki was the MVP, he clearly had a plan set out and managed to incapacitate the villains without any conflict whilst also safely securing the bomb" Momo concluded
'Wow, what an assessment' All Might thought
'That's why she's a recommendation student' Jiro silently judged
"I would agree Young Yaoyorozu, whilst the villains may have had a fantastic plan they were never allowed to implement it, you showed fantastic control over your quirk Young Todoroki. Unfortunately, this was a matchup that would've always proven difficult for you Young Hagakure and Ojiro" All Might finished
With the rest of the class slightly intimidated after that one-sided match, All Might announced the next match was to begin.
"Shoji and Asui as the heroes vs Tokoyami and Koda as the villains. You have ten minutes to form a plan and on my shout, you go"
Tsu and Shoji waited for Tokoyami and Koda to walk inside the building before they began their planning.
"Right, ribbit, what should we do?"
Forming a mouth on the end of one of his Dupli-Arms Shoji replied "I can figure out where the bomb is located, we can conceal you with my arms like a shell and all you need to do is reach out with your tongue to touch the bomb?"
"That's a great idea!"
"We just need to watch out for Tokoyami and his Dark Shadow, they're very powerful. I have no idea what Koda can do, I've never even heard him speak" Shoji said
"We'll do our best, kero" Tsu replied
Inside the building
"Koda, I think our best bet would be to make this place as dark as possible, it will hopefully harm Shoji's ability to scout. It also allows me to be stronger" Tokoyami said
All Koda did was show a thumbs-up to his partner. They both started to cover the windows, Tokoyami could feel Dark Shadow growing more and more powerful each time they blocked out more light.
"Revelry in the dark" he announced to no one in particular
"BEGINNN!"
Tsu jumped on the back of Shoji and was wrapped by his quirk. Shoji ran inside carrying them both and extended his dupli-arms to find the target. He couldn't really make out anything with his eyes, switching them to ears he noticed two heartbeats on the third floor. Making his way up there Tsu commented "Are you sure this will work?"
"It's a little late now to change the plan I think" Shoji replied
Reaching the third floor both heroes noted that there was an absence of light.
"GO DARK SHADOW"
With a huge roar, a massive bird attacked Shoji forcing him back. Shoji noticed it had arms and went to punch the apparition only for it to be blocked by the animal. "Tsu go! Get the bomb I'll hold it off" he grunted.
Tsu jumped off his back and crept into the room trying her best to ignore the sounds of destruction going on behind her.
"Stop" she heard a meek voice in the corner. Tsu decided to ignore it as there was no threat, she went to take another step forwards and realised she couldn't move. 'Why can't I move? Am I being controlled?'
Koda stepped out of the corner with his hands touching his temples and focusing as hard as he could. He thought to himself 'Please hurry I can't hold mutant quirks for very long'
Shoji could be heard shouting in pain outside as Dark Shadow punched him against a wall. With a quick dash from Tokoyami Shoji's arm was wrapped in the capture tape. Knowing he was out Shoji grunted and shouted "Come on Tsu, you can do this!"
With encouragement from her classmate, Tsu broke the hold of Koda by whipping him with her tongue; as she finished wrapping the tape around his arm Tokoyami walked into the room and stared directly at her.
"Revelry in the Dark"
"Kero?"
"This is where you lose hero, you cannot stop the bomb in time," he said getting into the role
"I will win, ribbit, I won't let anyone down," Tsu said leaping into action, she soared over Tokoyami's head towards the bomb with the intention of touching it. She was mere inches away when she felt a pull on her leg, it was Dark Shadow. She flew back towards it and flung her tongue like a whip at the apparition, the tongue phased straight through as Dark Shadow made itself invulnerable.
"Fumi, can I win now?" it asked
"Win no harming my dark friend" Tokoyami replied
With that Dark Shadow screamed and started flailing about in the darkness causing indiscriminate damage to the entire room. Knowing she was beaten in hand-to-hand combat Tsu decided a stealth approach, she ran at Dark Shadow to feint an attack and as Dark Shadow swung back at her she extended her tongue which Dark Shadow allowed to pass through.
"HERO TEAM WINS!" boomed the voice of All Might
"Wha!? HOW?" growled Dark Shadow
"Easy ribbit, I knew you wouldn't let that hit you so I waited until you were right in front of the bomb"
"You also revelled in the dark, I am pleased to know I am not the only one," Tokoyami said
After freeing the two that were captured they both headed back to the observation room.
"Does anyone have to say about their performances? Who was VIP?"
"I think it was Tokoyami, you fought so manly! You took on Shoji and then Tsu right afterwards! It was so fun to watch" commented Kirishima
"Whilst it may have been 'manly' Young Kirishima I believe the actual VIP was Young Shoji, he took on the opponent that Young Asui would've struggled with and trusted his teammate to secure the win, which she managed to do" All Might added
"Um All Might," Izuku asked
"Yes Young Midoriya go ahead"
"How was she able to get free of Koda's control? I didn't even know Koda control mutant quirks" he finished
"Oh that's easy kero, Shoji's voice was enough to break the control so I was able to fight," Tsu answered
"Nice teamwork you two, Young Koda, I believe you should be a bit more vocal considering your quirk, I believe VOLUME would help you and Young Tokoyami that was a fantastic fight and in the real world you would've won, however, this training exercise only requires the bomb to be touched. So good job all of you"
"Next we have Ashido and Kirishima vs Sato and Aoyama, again you have ten minutes to plan"
"CMON KIRI" Ashido shouted
"YEAH, LET'S DO THIS" He replied in kind
The two pair walked towards a different building as Dark Shadow had destroyed the bomb room of the other one.
"Right, how do we beat these guys Mina?" Kirishima asked
"Hmm I dunno, I mean you kinda counter Sato if you can block his punches and Aoyama has range like me but I don't want a beam-off because I think I lose," she said
"I can definitely take Sato! It's gonna be such a manly fight! An unstoppable force against an immovable object and I won't budge an inch" he replied
"You'd better move more than an inch" Mina winked causing him to blush
"I think you can beat Aoyama, he was talking about his cape at the start, just burn it, he'll probably pass out from the shock," Kirishima said to distract from his red face
"BEGINNN"
At that sound, Sato took out a pouch of sugar he was carrying and inhaled it. His muscles all tensed and increased in size dramatically.
"Right Frenchie, I punch you shoot," he said
"Oui" was the response
Throwing caution to the wind Ashido and Kirishima sprinted into the building and straight up the stairs to where they could tell the bomb was mainly due to Aoyama's ridiculous costume giving off so much light.
Kirishima looked over at Ashido and smiled while activating his quirk. His body went from being solid muscle to completely rock-solid
"Oooh you got hard just from looking at me" Ashido teased
"Shut up you, I just wanna win" he responded secretly enjoying the teasing
"Fine fine I'll let it off, we're here"
Kirishima raised his foot and kicked the door in. "Villains we are here for your bomb, nobody's dyin' today"
"You'll have to get through me first" came the voice of Sato launching himself at Kirishima. He planted his foot into the ground while twisting his hips to generate maximum force. Sato wanted to blow Kirishima away in a single punch. Inside of dodging Kirishima ran at the punch and weathered it, causing him to crack slightly.
"Gr" he grunted "You're strong Sato, this is gonna be fun"
"Let's see if you can keep it up then" he replied
'Please don't say anything Mina, not now I need to focus' he thought
Ashido just grinned at him as she ran past.
"Madam, you will not win"
"Oh Yeah! Who's gonna stop me" she replied
"I shall sparkle so bright you won't be able to move! C'est Magnifique" said Aoyama
Ashido simply did as Kirishima suggested and fired off an acid blast at Aoyama which he expertly dodged. She kept up the stream of acid as she tracked his movements until he turned around. The cape was coated in the acid which as predicted caused him to faint. Wrapping her capture tape around him she span to see Kirishima covered heavily in cracks from the beating Sato was dealing.
"Hey, no one gets to beat Kiri but me" she shouted running over to him.
Sato was tunnel-visioned meaning he didn't hear that, but he did feel Ashido wrapping the capture tape Kirishima had thrown her around his leg.
"HERO TEAM WINS"
"Nice fight man, that was fun" Kirishima commented holding his side
"Huh, er, what happened" pondered a now dumb Sato, the side effect of his quirk had taken hold.
"WE WON KIRI!" exclaimed Ashido bouncing up and down.
"Nice job Mina, very manly" he replied laughing
In the Observation Room
"It was Ashido sir," said Shoto "She not only took out both villains but she also went back for her team-mate and saved him while causing minimal damage"
"Bang on Young Todoroki, the only thing I can add is that the acid she sprayed towards Young Aoyama managed to find its way onto the bomb so if it was live it could very well have resulted in a loss for the heroes. But they made their plan and stuck to it almost to the letter! Congratulations to all of you" finished All Might
The duos of Iida and Uraraka and Jiro and Kaminari made their way to the building.
Uraraka and Iida walked inside and began designing their strategy.
"Iida can you bring every piece of furniture in here please," Ochaco asked
Before giving an answer Tenya sped out of the room and within a minute the room was full of the furniture placed in the building
"What's this for Uraraka?" he replied
"I'm gonna use my quirk on them, we can leave them floating and drop them as they walk in and I was thinking you could throw them at the heroes and then I deactivate my quirk on each piece so they get hit with the actual weight"
"Wow! That is a commendable plan for villainy, I shall do my utmost to ensure the demise of those pesky heroes" Tenya said getting into character
"Yeah! That's it Iida! We have to be villains!"
Outside
"What are we gonna do?" Kaminari asked Jiro
"I'm gonna find the bomb, you're gonna light em up, then we win" she responded bluntly
"If I use my quirk that powerfully I'll end up stupid"
"You're not anyway?"
"HEY"
"BEGINNN!"
The two heroes walk inside the building, Jiro plugs her jacks into the wall and starts scanning the building.
"Two people, fifth floor" she whispers to Kaminari
"Cool, gimme a sec" he replies walking over to the power system. He opens it up and starts draining the building of electricity. "OH YEAH, now it's over" he exclaims to Jiro
"What have you done?" she asks
"I've taken all the power in the building, I can release a huge blast now" he smirks
"STOP HEROES, YOU HAVE LOST" came the voice of Iida
He burst into the room faster than Jiro could see and quickly apprehended her. "You're done hero," he says in his mock villain voice
Thanks to the burst of energy Kaminari got, it allowed access to increased speed both physically and mentally. He noted that Jiro had been captured and instead of facing off against Iida he ran up the stairs as fast as he could, which now was almost at Iida's top speed. Yellow Lightning trailed behind him as he moved.
"Hey sparky, how you doin'" asked Uraraka
"I've come for the bomb villain" he replied really getting into the role thanks to Uraraka and Iida
"You're not a Jedi yet" she laughs
"What?" he shouts
Uraraka starts to throw the furniture at Kaminari starting with a huge sofa, he unleashed a blast of electricity to disintegrate it; as his vision clears he notices three tables flying at him which he has to dodge.
"What the hell, why am I getting everything but the kitchen sink chucked at me!" he shouts
"That's coming soon, don't worry hero, they will all die because you can't protect them!" she replies
Iida runs into the room behind Kaminari and gets ready to intercept.
"Stop hero! You have been surrounded. There is no escape" he said
"I have you now" Uraraka claims
"NO WAY! INDISCRIMINATE SHOCK! 5 MILLION VOLTS!" Kaminari screams releasing all of the electricity he has stored up inside himself. The bolts arc across the room destroying everything in the process, the 'bomb' melts and the windows get blown out from the powerful shock. Luckily Iida had darted out of the room as he noticed the charge building. Uraraka had not been so lucky, she had to pull all of the furniture they gathered towards her to make a makeshift shield. Once the blast had ended all that was left of her shield was a charred oak table.
"Wow that was close Iida, I guess we win though" she sighed in relief
"I shall apprehend the hero and then we can get back to being them too," he said keeping up his persona
"VILLAIN TEAM WINS!"
They walked back to the Observation Room with Iida carrying Kaminari. Recovery Girl quickly helped him by healing the slight burns on his skin before giving him a shock to speed his brain back up.
"So, shall I explain this one or does someone who hasn't already answered want to have a shot?" All Might said to the dismay of Izuku and Momo
"I'll do it" came a voice no one expected "Four eyes and Round Cheeks obviously won, I would say that Four Eyes was MVP, yeah they both 'became' villains" he air quoted. "But he caught both heroes and also recognised the danger of what dumbass was doing with the charge. It didn't even matter they had caught the hero because the idiot would've set off the bomb in real life" Bakugo finished
"Wow, he does have a brain" laughed Sero
"Kaachan..." Izuku started
"SHUT IT DEKU, I'M BETTER THAN YOU AT EVERYTHING INCLUDING ANALYSIS"
"Right you are Young Bakugo, without the terminology you used for your classmates and the shouting at Young Midoriya, you gave a perfect rundown of why Young Iida was our MVP. Though I must say Young Uraraka, you could easily be an actress with how well you got into character or should I say 'Darth'" All Might laughed causing Uraraka to blush
"I was just getting in character," she said meekly
"RIGHT, the final match! Midoriya and Yaoyorozu vs Bakugo and Sero. Use the next building along, Young Kaminari's attack destroyed the bomb and most of the building above" said the Symbol of Peace
Looking over at Izuku with a manic blood-lusted grin on his face "I'm gonna explode you so much they'll find pieces of you on the International Space Station" he growled
"I-I'm s-sure y-you will Kaachan" Izuku stuttered
"Come on Midoriya, we'll be fine," Momo said taking control of the situation and leading her partner outside
Once they reached the building Bakugo and Sero went inside to 'plan' and set traps leaving Momo and Izuku outside the building to design their attack strategy.
"Right Midoriya, what should we do?" Momo asked
"I have an idea but I want to hear what you think we should do first" he replied
"I-I'm sure whatever you have planned will be better than what I could come up with" she countered
"Yaoyorozu... you are one of the class reps, you have a fantastic quirk and are the best student in our year, stop putting yourself down and let's hear your plan please," Izuku said with a smile on his face and his eyes full of confidence
Momo's face went as red as her costume as she murmured "I could say the same to you about dealing with Bakguo"
It was Izuku's turn to go bright red
"Anyway, I think that we should eat take a pair of these industrial-grade scissors I can make to cut through Sero's tape. It is most probable that Bakugo will ignore me and head straight for you. I'd like you to hold him off as long as possible while I will do my best to find and secure the target, with my ability to negate Sero's quirk it will be a physical fight and I have years of training" she continued
"Wow, that's such a well-thought-out plan," Izuku said in awe
"BEGINNN!"
Momo quickly created the scissors and they each stored them on their costume. "Midoriya, you can beat him you know, you're the strongest in our class" she encouraged
"I'll do my best" he replied
KABOOM
"DEKU YOU BASTARD! FIGHT MEE!"
"Looks like you were right class rep" Izuku smiled all nervousness gone, replaced by sheer determination
"I believe in you Midoriya, good luck"
With that Momo left Izuku and went to search for the bomb. As she rounded the corner Bakugo locked eyes with Izuku; the battle was about to begin.
Observation Room
"The fated battle between rivals," Uraraka said
"Rivals? They know each other" Kaminari said finally recovered from his short out
'I know this is dangerous, but this fight must happen, Young Midoriya needs to know he can win'
"Yeah they went to the same middle school, it's obvious Bakugo hated Midoriya but for some reason, Midoriya is scared of him. With his quirk, I've no idea why" Uraraka finished
"Good luck Midori!" cheered Ashido
"You can win Midoriya," Tenya said chopping the air
Back in the building
"You hid your quirk from me for years Deku! Did you think you were better than me or something?" shouted Bakugo
"N-no, m-my quirk just c-came in late K-Kaachan" answered Izuku
"I don't care, you lied and I'll remind you of your place once I've kicked you back under my boot"
Bakugo's palms started sparking and releasing small explosions. Izuku noticed this and instantly allowed 15% of One For All to flow through him. Small bolts of green lightning danced around his body, Izuku knew he could handle this level of power and fight well.
Bakugo let off a massive explosion behind him to propel himself forwards, he closed the gap between them almost instantly. Raising his right arm he brought it down to deliver his usual opener; an exploding right overhand. Having been on the end of said move multiple times since his childhood Izuku noticed it and allowed Bakugo to swing. As it was about to make contact he span, grabbing Bakugo's wrist as he did and slamming him to the ground using One For All yelling "SMAASHHH".
"*Cough* THE FUCK DEKU?" Bakugo shouted, his back hitting the ground causing spit to leave his mouth along with the air in his lungs
"I've seen all this before, you're too predictable Kaa-chan" Izuku taunted "If you want to beat me now, I'll need to see something new"
"SO BECAUSE YOU HID YOUR QUIRK YOU THINK YOU'RE BETTER THAN ME NOW! I'LL SHOW YOU, YOU BASTARD"
He raised his arm and let off an explosion right in Izuku's face making him jump back. Before Izuku had landed Bakugo was on him again throwing targeted punches at the greenette. Izuku got caught in the chest, and lower stomach and Bakugo planted one on his jaw before using another explosion to leap over Izuku. "GOT YOU NOW NERD" he screamed
'Shit! What do I do I can't dodge this' Izuku thought in a panic
'Draw in as much power as you can kid, max your output but don't move. I think 35% should be enough to protect you' Nana quickly advised
Without a second thought, Izuku heeded the words of his master's master channelling in as much power as his power could safely take. The lightning became much more violent and Izuku's skin gave off a slight glow. Once he'd reached 35% his hair had slightly lifted off his head.
"DIE!" Bakugo yelled releasing another huge explosion
Upstairs
Momo could feel the entire building shaking as the clash of the titans waged its war beneath her. 'Now all I should need is a metal detector, it's the only thing in here made of it' Momo reasoned in her head whilst creating the device.
Pink and blue sparkles fell from her skin and the device was revealed. Looking down at the device Momo saw the bomb was three floors above her and though she wouldn't tell Midoriya she was glad to be getting away from that fight.
Once she'd reached the floor of the bomb she couldn't not notice the defence strategy implemented by Sero. He'd covered everything in his tape, even the floors. If she stepped on it she'd be stuck for sure.
"Hey class rep" he greeted "How you gonna get the bomb if you lose as soon as you move?" he challenged
"I'll think of something! I'll go Plus Ultra!" she responded
'What makes the glue on this tape weaker' she thought 'ACETONE!'
As she was beginning to make the counter to the tape Sero charged, giving her no time to focus on making what she needed. This was going to be tough.
Fated Battle of Rivals
The smoke cleared and Bakugo noticed a crater around where he'd blasted. He smirked and said "That shows you Deku, I'm the best and I'm gonna be number one! Maybe I'll let you in the top ten"
The lightning around Izuku was even more intense than before and the smoke finally cleared enough for him to see his 'rival' standing there with only a small burn on the small of his back
"WHAT DID YOU DO YOU CHEAT DEKU" he screamed
Izuku turned, all kindness in his eyes had disappeared, he was pissed.
"You arrogant bastard" yelled Izuku, shocking Bakugo, as he had never heard him curse before, "Anyone else in the class would've been seriously hurt by that! You rabid dog"
"Rabid dog huh Deku" he grinned "Maybe I'll show you how feral I can be," Bakugo reached for his support gear, "This stores my sweat and I'm sure you know what happens next"
"YOUNG BAKUGO NO! THAT WILL SERIOUSLY HURT YOUNG MIDORIYA! DO NOT RELEASE THAT EXPLOSION" yelled All Might into the earpiece
"NOT IF HE DODGES"
The pin was pulled and the gauntlet released a monumental amount of Bakugo's sweat. 'Shit this is gonna hurt' Izuku thought. Bakugo couldn't release an explosion of this magnitude normally so he designed his gear to remove that weakness. The quirk analyst in Izuku couldn't help but be impressed.
(Dragonball Goku v Frieza time starts lol)
Izuku knew he absolutely couldn't tank this hit, he would be in the hospital or worse. Pushing his quirk to its limit Izuku drew on 40% of the power. His bones started to rattle and vibrate and all the muscles in his body screamed at him. 'No choice' he thought 'I'm not getting hit'
"Midoriya! The bomb is directly above you!" came the voice of Momo through his communication device
'Above me? I can dodge and win at the same time!'
'How kid?'
'No time, just watch me'
Izuku continued to push One For All through him pushing up to 45%, he could feel some muscles tearing and his bones were creaking. He crouched down allowing the lightning to further encompass him showing the insane amounts of power he had.
'I should stop this!' thought the Symbol of Peace 'But I need to let it happen, I can save him if it goes wrong'
"SIR THIS NEEDS TO BE STOPPED!" shouted Class 1A
"It will be fine, if anything looks bad I will fix it! Why? Because I AM HERE" All Might announced to calm the nerves of the class even though he was shaking himself
As the explosion went off causing the building to shake Izuku leapt, both arms directly up.
"DETROIIIITTT SMAAASSHHHH!" Izuku yelled as he pushed off the ground tearing through the ceiling as Bakugo's explosion razed the rest of the floor. Izuku flew from ceiling to floor to ceiling until he reached Momo and Sero fighting. With the last of the energy he could use before becoming useless, Izuku clapped his now very bruised hands together releasing another massive gust of wind causing all the tape on the floor to tear off and fly towards Sero.
With Sero incapacitated and the floor now usable Momo picked up Izuku and walked over to the bomb; each placing a hand on it to confirm the victory
"HERO TEAM WINSSS!"
"Thanks for the help Yaoyorozu," Izuku said nursing his strained arms
"Help? I just told you where the bomb was, I couldn't get to it" she replied with a hint of self-loathing
"You saved me though, I needed a way out and you gave it to me, your plan was brilliant!"
"Thank you Midoriya" she blushed "And please call me Momo"
"Then call me Izuku" he countered
After the healing from Recovery Girl in the Observation Room
"Young Bakugo that was extremely dangerous, you not only destroyed the building that your bomb was in, you also broke your arm, burned yourself and Young Midoriya and caused him to strain every muscle in his body. I'm disappointed, and because you ignored my direct instruction, you will have detention for the next two weeks" said All Might
"Fine" Bakugo grunted
"Now, who was the MVP for our final match?"
Tenya raised his hand, "Sir I think it was Midoriya, he not only kept Bakugo away so Yaoyorozu could find the bomb, but he also removed Sero's traps preventing them from winning" he concluded
"Good choice Young Iida, however, the MVP of this match was Young Yaoyorozu, she made the plan and gave Young Midoriya the location of the bomb at a critical moment which bypassed Young Sero's trap. Well done my child" All Might said to Momo.
"T-Thank you Sir, I did my best, but I agree with Iida," she said
"Well you may do, but that is my professional opinion! You were all great and all of you showed the true spirit of a hero!" he finished
'Such a dork' Nana snorted causing Izuku to laugh in the real world getting him a bunch of weird looks from the rest of the class; All Might only shook his head at him knowing Nana had made a comment.
"Now go and get changed we're done for the day. But I must exit LIKE A HERO!" He shouted running away while starting to steam
Izuku walked with Tenya and Kirishima back to the changing rooms
"Dude! I didn't know you could jump through walls, that's so manly!" Kirishima cheered
"Neither did I" Izuku laughed sweatdropping
"I take it you're okay now Midoriya," said Tenya
"Yeah, thanks to Recovery Girl I am!" Izuku replied "I don't know what I'd do if she wasn't here"
"Spend a lot of time off I suppose with your luck," Tenya said with a smirk
"Hey Mr Serious when did you find a joke book?" Kaminari interjected
"I happen to possess a comedic bone Kaminari," Iida said slightly annoyed
"Hmmm I don't believe it" came the reply
They all laughed and poked fun at each other as they finished getting changed and made their way home.
All Might: Young Midoriya, I'd like to meet you at the beach later on if you're able.
Izuku: Sure I'll make sure I'm there
After eating the food his mother had prepared for them; Izuku put his shoes back on and jogged over to the beach he had cleaned as a part of his training to meet Toshinori.
"Hey Toshi!" he waved "What's up?"
"I hate and love Nana in equal parts for telling you her nickname for me" he laughed "Now I just wanted to make sure you were okay after what happened today"
"I'm fine, a little tired and a bit sore. I'm kind of used to his explosions" replied Izuku
'USED TO THEM?' Nana shouted causing Izuku to wince. 'YOU'RE GONNA TELL ME ALL ABOUT IT LATER'
"You sure? You just winced" Toshinori responded
"Sorry, that was Nana shouting at me for not telling her"
"That does sound like her, she was fiercely protective of anyone she loved," Toshinori said reminiscing.
"Now Young Midoriya, I probably shouldn't tell you this, but you'll be doing rescue training tomorrow with me, Aizawa and another teacher. No, I'm not telling you who" he said shooting down Izuku's widening eyes. "You need to make sure you're well rested, now go home and get to bed" Toshinori finished in his best 'Dad' tone
Izuku laughed "Sure I will 'Daad'"
"Off with you then, I will see you tomorrow"
'I do miss you master but I'm glad you get to help my successor too' he thought with a tinge of sadness.
