Cat sat on the garden wall, waiting for Ladybug. He had brought it a chocolate flower, hoping she would get here soon so it didn't melt. Valentine's Day was so much fun, giving your loved ones cards and chocolate and flowers.
Speaking of flowers, the hedge behind cat was covered with red roses and it smelled heavenly. He turned and tried to pick up, yelping as a thorn stuck his paw.
Ladybug had been skipping along, holding a heart-shaped card for Cat, when she heard the yelp. "Hold on, I'm coming!" she yelled. Whirling her yo-yo expertly, she sprang to the top of the wall. "What's wrong, Kitty?" she asked, wiping the tears that rolled down his face. "I tried to pick a rose for you, but I hurt my paw." Ladybug's heart felt tender. Cat was so sweet, thinking of her. "I think I know a way to make feel better. Hold out your paw," she said, gently.
Cat strenched out his paw, and Ladybug bent down, giving it a gentle kiss. "Now it will be all better." "Thanks, Bugaboo. Here." "Aw, for me?" Ladybug was bashful, lowering her eyes as she took the flower. "Open it, M'lady. Before it melts." Ladybug opened her gift, breaking off a chocolate petal. Mm, milk chocolate, her favorite! Cat giggled, and the sound sent Ladybug into giggles too. "What?" "You have chocolate all over your face!"
When she was clean and they had calmed down, she handed him her pink heart card. "Happy Valentine's Day, Kitty," she said, shyly.
"Dear Kitty,
I love it when you are silly and funny,
But love your sweet and tender side as well.
When I'm injured, or just feel blue,
You know the best way to cheer me up.
I love it when you call me M'lady,
For you are and will always be my favorite kitty.
Your Bugaboo,
-Ladybug
"And I thought I was the romantic one, Cat grinned. "Wait, there's one more thing," Ladybug leaned over and pecked him on the cheek, turning Cat Noir very red indeed.
For the rest of the day, Ladybug and Cat sat on the garden wall, eating chocolate and telling secrets.
