-April 13, 1912-
I woke in the morning and walked over to the adjoining room to get dressed, without disturbing my sleeping husband. "This dress is pretty… But…" I sighed. "Want some help honey?" I heard a voice. "I…" Thomas stepped in front of me, as I said "I mean I would like help… But…" Thomas said "Honey, I've already seen you naked, and you don't have anyone else here to help you." I blushed, but agreed. Once I got dressed, We headed to the dining room. "Hey honey, take a deep breath. You got this…" Thomas whispered, before taking my hand as we walked into the dining room. "Ah There she is! The Light of my life!" Cal's voice said, causing my skin to crawl. Thomas pulled out my chair next to him and Molly. "Rose. Come and sit over here, with your mother and I." His voice continued. I stayed quietly beside my husband, and Molly.
After breakfast, Thomas took us on a tour of his wonderful ship. I tried to stay close to Thomas as much as I could but Cal kept forcing me to stay close to him. "Oh for the love of fudge!" I said getting frustrated. Lovejoy came over and said "Are you alright?" I said "No! Tell Cal to freaking leave me alone!" I said in tears. "I'm sorry, But you know Cal… in his mind you're still his fiancee…" Lovejoy stated as Thomas came over, interrupting the tour. "Everything alright?" He asked. "NO!" I said all too loudly. "Oh by the way Rose, we threw out your favorite book… You know the one you're pathetic excuse for a father had signed, and wrote that nauseating little note in." My mother said as she laughed, walking by. "HOW COULD YOU!?" I screeched as I tried to lunge at her, but couldn't because of my broken leg and arm. "Rose. No. No Fighting." Thomas whispered. "It's not good for you or the baby." He whispered more in my ear.
Lovejoy said "I have an idea!" I looked curiously at him. "Lovejoy, why don't you take her… to the shop and see if they have her favorite book?" Thomas gave us a small wink, which we took as a go down to third class, and hide. "Will do!" Lovejoy immediately walked with me down to the third class. "Tommy! Fabri! Aurora! Charlotte!"Jack called to the others the second he spotted us, which is when the others ran over. "How can we help?" Tommy asked as they arrived. I said "Can I hide down here with you…?" Jack nodded and said "We have an agreement with Thomas… We are to protect you, and hide you down here when the guys are in the smoking room, even during the day too if you both wish. Since Lovejoy's supposed to be Cal's manservant still." I said "Thank you." Lovejoy said "You better hurry and get in disguise or hidden… I know Thomas was going to bring her mother and Cal down…" Aurora and Charlotte immediately took me to their cabin, and helped me change into their extra dresses. "There! Perfect!" They said, as I grinned. "Thank you so much." We went out to the others, where Tommy said "I… Uh… Charlotte, would… You.. Uh…" Jack said "Just ask her." He said, smirking. Fabri came over and said "Then you go on and ask me sis. By the way, Rose, that Mr. Lovejoy said 'Tell her I know where Cal and her mother put the book. I'll bring it to her room.'" I smiled, gratefully. Tommy was flirting with Charlotte, who to my surprise was flirting back, and showing major interest, while Jack was flirting with Aurora, who was showing interest, to Jack. I spent the day talking with the guys and girls, laughing sweetly as we had a good time. Thomas came down, and got me, before dinner. Once I changed we went and ate dinner. "So, I have to go to the smoking room… Do you feel comfortable with the arrangement the guys told you about? Do you feel comfortable heading down there on your own?" I said "Yes I'm comfortable with the plan… But I'm not so comfortable walking around on my own just yet… You don't know what Cal's capable of…" I said, tears springing into my eyes.
Thomas pulled me carefully aside and said "You're right there… I don't know what he's capable of… How about I walk you down there and come get you when I'm finished." I nodded, as we went down to the third class. Fabri and a pretty young lady, named Helga, "Hey! We got her." I spent the evening having fun with our new friends, I hate to admit it, but It was definitely the most relaxing night, I've had in a long long time, Last night, while I enjoyed the lovemaking, between my ship builder, and I I could tell I was still very tense, and not able to enjoy it fully. "Hey, mind if I cut in?" I heard Thomas's voice, as he came over, causing Jack to hand me off, by twirling me right into Thomas's arms. We continued to dance, for a while before we retired to our cabin. Once inside Thomas helped me into a nightgown, before we laid down in bed, yawning, as we fell asleep.
-April 14, 1912-
In the morning, I stirred as I woke nestled in my husband's arms. "Good morning my beautiful beautiful bride!" He whispered, kissing my head. "Morning my handsome handsome husband." I whispered with a yawn. "So what's on the agenda for today?" I asked, sitting up. "Not sure, I do know I gotta do some minor repairs, today, all over the ship, after breakfast. I thought you might not want to come with me all day, since it'll probably be boring for you, maybe you'd feel better hanging with Jack, Tommy, Fabri, Aurora, Helga, and Charlotte…" I said "Oh… If it's alright with you, I'd really like to come with you… I can bring my book, so I can read and still feel safe…" He smiled. "Okay, but if you get bored… I want you to head down to third class…" I nodded. "I better…" "Go on honey, I'll get dressed and meet you in the dinning room. I want to talk to Mr. Lightoller, and Mr. Lowe. I've already told them a bit of what happened yesterday when they came to get me…" I nodded. "Thanks. I'll be there soon." He stepped out, and I started to get dressed. I heard the door open and said "Missed me too much already?" I assumed it was Thomas. "I found you. Finally." My heart froze, as I felt my mother tighten the corset as she fixed my dress dragging me out to the world. That was her second mistake. Her first was sneaking into mine and Thomas's room. "It's a shame… Mr. Andrews had such potential." She said, seconds before Lovejoy appeared, seeing my dejected face, he came over pulling me gently from mothers arms to his. "I assure you, Cal will deal with her as he sees fit." I shoved him away, before running down to the third class, as quickly as I could with my leg and arm throbbing with every step. "Rose?" I heard Charlotte say as she wrapped an arm around my waist. "Help. me…" I whispered. Charlotte got me to the dining room, and sat me at the table, with Aurora, Tommy, Jack, Fabri, and Helga. "Rose! Are you alright?" They asked, as I shook my head. "Where's her sling and walking boot?" I ducked my head, as I said "In the cabin. I didn't get a chance to put them on…" "Excuse me… Rose?" Lovejoy's voice said as he came over, causing me to look up. "What the hell do you want?!" He said "I had to make Ruth think I was on her side, and Cal's… I'm so sorry!" I turned my head. "If it makes you feel better, I told Thomas what happened, and he was upset, but he did say that I should apologize, and let you know he'll be down soon to see you… And he told me to give you…" He handed me the walking boot, and sling I left behind. "I'm sorry…" He left, as Charlotte and Aurora helped me with the sling and boot.
"What can we get you to eat Rose?" Jack asked. "I… I'm… I'm not hungry… Go ahead though… eat." I said, softly. " I don't think Mr. Andrews would like it if we didn't make sure you ate…" Tommy said. "You're right." Thomas's voice said, as his hands rested on my shoulders. I looked up, as he said "Just anything simple. She adores strawberries, and peaches." Tommy nodded, and went off to get it. "After Breakfast, Can I use one of your cabins to talk to my beautiful bride in private?" Jack said "you can use mine, Fabri's, Charlotte's and Aurora's." Thomas smiled, and said "Much appreciated." We ate breakfast before we went to the cabin, where I sat on the bed. "Lovejoy only told me what he said…" I said "Mother found me… She entered the cabin, somehow… and I thought it was you… She tied my corset too tight… and pulled me away before I could get my sling and walking boot on… When Lovejoy said what he did… It upset me, and I ran…" I was in tears. "I'm sorry…"
Thomas kissed my head. "Hush. It's not your fault… okay? I love you." I felt his thumb gently caress my cheek. "I don't blame you…" He kissed my head. "I should have told you, what I told Lovejoy... Which was around Cal and your mother, to act like he was on their side…" I said "Now I feel even worse.." Thomas said "No, actually… Your reaction was exactly what I wanted you to do. So I am very very proud of you, my beauty." "Well that makes me feel a lot better." I stated, causing Thomas to smile."Now I want you to hang out with the guys and girls today, and I'll come get you for dinner. Does that sound good?" I said "Thanks… and do you have to go to the smoking room tonight?" He said "Not tonight. I want to take care of my beautiful wife." I grinned. "Sounds good to me."
I spent the day up on the third class deck. "I found her!" Cal's voice said, as he came down, and right over to us. "Fabri the left. Tommy the right. Aurora. Charlotte. You know what to do." Jack whispered, as Aurora, Charlotte and I ducked into the sea of third class passengers, and ducked down the stairway, which is when Lovejoy came over. "I got her… I have orders from Thomas…"
