"So Claire, what is your wish going to be?" My best friend, Hailey asked me.
"Mmm. I don't know. I'm still contemplating wishing to find a boy, but I'm still not sure what to do." I lied.
I already knew what my wish was going to be, but she couldn't know it just yet. It's a secret and surprise.
"Well, if I was you, I'd make it quick. Never know when it you might need it." She said, and yet, she has a point.
"Ok, I'll make it right here, right now." I said, clasping my hands in front of my heart.
My thoughts: Ok, Aqua, I have my wish ready to go.
Aqua: Yes, Claire? Go ahead.
My thoughts: I wish for Hailey to be able to stay here, in Baybridge. That her mom will get offered a big amount of money and they'll be able to stay.
Aqua: There you go, Clairedy Cat. Your wish... is granted.
The next day, Hailey ran up to the beach house and she had joy written all over her face. That means Aqua put my wish through.
"Claire! Guess what?!" She asked, jumping up and down.
"What's up, Hails?" I asked, smiling at her.
"We're not moving to Australia anymore! Mom's work offered her a bigger salary than before! So she decided we don't have to move!" Hailey said, tears streaming down her cheeks. "I'm so happy. I'll still be with you."
I grinned at her. "There's a reason why they offered her a bigger salary, Hails. I used my wish on that. I didn't want to be away from you." I said, tears seeping from my eyes.
"Did you really? Oh, Claire." She said, sobbing hard. "Thank you. I'm so happy."
"Me too, but don't thank me. Thank Aqua." I said.
"Thanks Aqua. I hope we'll get to see you again one day." She said, hugging me.
We went into my house and got in my room. We cut on the tv and watched Mean Girls. I'm glad I still have Hailey. I'd be so sad, if I didn't have Hailey.
