Story idea : Fatal Frame 6 : House of Ashes

During a military operation in Iraq who's gone wrong, Yuki Amakura and her team must survive in an ancient Akkadian temple haunted by hostiles ghosts but also by something more evil, more dangerous

Here's my idea for a story : A crossover between Fatal frame series and House of Ashes from Dark pictures. A Japanese female military reporter, Yuki Amakura, joins a CIA and US marines operation on Zagros Mountains during 2003 invasion of Iraq, but after an attack from Iraqi soldiers, she's trapped with her team in the ancient temple of Naram Sin, haunted by the Curse of Akkad. With the Camera Obscura, they must survive against evil spirits and Demons from the Sumerian underworld.

In the universe of the story, the creatures aren't aliens like in canon but are actually demons from the underworld called Gallu. And there's many rift between land of the living and land of the dead all around the world, many in Japan for example but also, in China, America, Egypt, etc... Kunihiko Asou, the creator of the Camera Obscura, with many paranormal specialists has founded a secret society, in order to study the mysteries of the land of the dead, Lady bradshaw who led the 1940 expedition in the temple was a member of this society and has brought a camera obscura specially designed with sumerian symbols, found decades later by Yuki, the Camera Obscura can repel the Gallu but not kill them
