You Don't Impressed Us Much

Summary: Magnum has a very important conversation with the lads…and it goes as well as you think it does.

"Okay…we are going to talk. Well, I'm going to talk and you're going to listen…hopefully, not bite…or bark at me. You know…or eat me. At least, I don't think that you two would eat me. You haven't yet...anyway, Juliet and I are dating," Magnum told the dogs from his perch.

The dogs looked entirely unimpressed.

"It's true!"

Apollo had the nerve to just tilt his head at him.

He huffed.

"We are dating. I know you guys are protective over her and I'm too!"

Magnum has never been possessive of his girlfriends. It wasn't in his nature.

He did get jealous. Sometimes. Not a lot. He liked his past girlfriends. He did. Honestly!

It kind of hit him by surprise when he felt the first hint of possession. It hit him like a wave. He felt his entire body become tense and the way how uncomfortable Higgins was. They were undercover at a party. They were just mingling with some guests. There was one guest that couldn't keep his eyes or his hands off her.

Handsy bastard.

Juliet was a professional and didn't let her mask one bit. He did see tightness around her eyes and he could tell that she was ten seconds from stabbing him with her small fancy fork in her hand.

She will likely go for the eyes unless she is being nice.

Then it would be the hands.

He walked beside her and put his hand on the small of her back. He felt her tense up for a moment before relaxing. She smiled at the man and continued the conversation.

When the guy made a break for it, she got the first hit.

Although, he got the second hit in, just in case of course.

"See? Maybe slightly possessive and protective. That guy was handsy. You guys would have done the same thing!" He said.

Zeus groaned at him.

"I know that she doesn't need my protection. She is my partner. I have her back like you guys have her back."

She has a very nice back…legs…very nice everything. She can kick anyone's ass. His girl was a badass.

Does he gloat about it?

Yes, he does.

She said that he doesn't do subdue well. He can but….in this case, nope, he is going to brag about his girl.

"So, that means you have to trust me…just a little bit?"

If looks could kill, he would be dead.

"Okay…Okay! I have her back. I will treat her well. I take care of her but she doesn't really need to be taken care of because Juliet is Juliet. I support her. Oh, the sex is great but I'm not having that conversation with you," He remarked.

The sex was awesome.

He fought a grin to form on his face.

Really great…

"And I'm a loyal guy. You guys are big into being loyal. I have never cheated on a girlfriend ever. Besides, if I did, I would die. Really die. You guys wouldn't have to worry about me. She would have killed me and probably buried the body somewhere. She wouldn't get caught."

And she would probably have help from their friends.

So no cheating…ever.

"And I have good qualities that you guys don't think I have but…I DO! I'm kind and generous. Generous with my time…because I'm kind of broke. I know that you guys have a good life. It is rough out there in the real world."

Apollo groaned at him.

"OKAY! OKAY! You're part of the real world. I'm mostly clean and I pick up after myself. Mostly. And I can cook! See?! Really good qualities."

Fuck it. Both dogs are groaning.

"Fine! Fine! Gee…I love her! Isn't that what you wanted to hear?!" He shouted.

His mouth dropped as his heart started pounding in his chest.

He felt his face become hot.

Suddenly, his mouth became dry.

Shit…

Damn…

He…

"Thomas…we have…boys, what is going on here?" Juliet said as she turned the corner. She looked at Apollo and Zeus, who looked as innocent as they could be then him on his perch.

"We were having a conversation," He said.

Her eyes darted from the dogs to him then she chuckled.

"I sort of like him now. So, don't eat him. Come on. I show you where he keeps all of the good treats for you boys," She said to him with a spark in her eyes then turned toward the dogs. Quickly, the dogs got up to follow her. He watched for a moment as they disappeared.
