Chapter 1: Special Day for Rengoku & Tanjiro

Tanjiro slowly opened his eyes as he just had another dream about Rengoku. His room was still dark & shadowy as it was 3 AM. He tossed over to the other side of his bed as he wiped his tears. He tried to fall back asleep, but he couldn't. He then sat up as he slipped on his slippers & headed to the restroom. Inosuke, Zenitsu, & Nezuko were all still asleep as none of them heard a sound from Tanjiro who's heading to the restroom. Tanjiro closed the door & turned on the bathroom light as he did his business. He sat very still on the toilet as he spaced out. He then slowly closed his eyes again as he thought about Rengoku.

"Rengoku…is that you?" Tanjiro said as he turned around seeing someone with bright yellow fiery hair.

Rengoku turned around as he smiled at Tanjiro. He opened his arms as Tanjiro gasped & ran up to him. Crying happily as Tanjiro hugged his lover.

"Rengoku! Rengoku! You have no idea how much I missed you! I…..I can't move on without you here with me…" Tanjiro said as he sniffled.

"Love, have you tried talking to our master? I'm sure there's a way for him to bring my back alive so I can be with you." Rengoku said to Tanjiro as he rubbed his hair.

Tanjiro looked at Rengoku, confused. "Can…..can you repeat that again, please?" Tanjiro asked his lover.

Before Rengoku was going to speak again his voice changed into Inosuke which caused Tanjiro to wake up. He gasped as he stood up, covering himself.

"I-Insouke! What's going on?!" Tanjiro called out to him.

"Hey Ponjiro! You've been in there for over ten minutes! It's my turn to use the toilet!" Inosuke said as he to hold it in.

Tanjiro blinked as he looked up at the wall clock in the bathroom. It was now 3:30 AM. Tanjiro sighed as he closed the toilet seat, flushed, & washed his hands. He tried not to cry again as Inosuke knocked. Tanjiro startled as he sighed.

"Hang on! I'm almost done washing my hands, Inosuke." Tanjiro called out to him. Trying to keep his cool.

"I….I can't hold it, Kentaro! Please hurry! I'm going to wet my pants!" Insouke said as he twisted his legs & bit his lips.

Tanjiro rolled his eyes as he opened the door & let his friend in. Tanjiro looked at Inosuke. He wasn't wearing his boar mask. Inosuke's hair was drenched in sweat as it made his hair a little longer. Tanjiro smiled at him as he walked out of the bathroom. He headed back to his room as he laid back down & sighed. He closed his eyes as he dreamed about Rengoku.

In Tanjiro's dream, he was under a giant cherry blossom tree as the pink petals were falling down. He looked around as he saw his lover, Rengoku walking up to him. Tanjiro smiled as he ran to him & the two hugged each other one last time. Rengoku kissed Tanjiro's head so many times even on his scar. Tanjiro smiled at him as he blushed.

"So, you told me that we can talk to the master to bring you back to life? Can he do that?" Tanjiro asked Rengoku as he smiled.

"Of course. Since Valentine's Day is coming up I would love to spend that day with you. And of course your sister too." Rengoku said to Tanjiro as he smiled at him.

"I'll do it! I'll head over in the morning and ask him. Since he accepts our relationship and all. I'll ask him." Tanjiro said as he smiled with confidence.

Rengoku smiled as he lifted Tanjiro's chin & kissed him. Tanjiro blushed as he kissed him back. Rengoku then put his hands on Tanjiro's cheeks & kissed him more. Pinning him down onto the flower bed. Tanjiro blushed more as Rengoku looked at him. Tanjiro rubbed Rengoku's chest as he unbuttoned it. Rengoku smiled as his shirt was now revealing his whole chest & stomach. Tanjiro did the same as he unbuttoned his shirt. Rengoku licked his lips as he kissed Tanjiro's neck. Tanjiro slowly closed his eyes as he moaned a bit then he opened them as he heard Rengoku's voice changing.

"Tanjiro. Tanjiro. Tanjiro wake up." The voice said from Rengoku but Tanjiro snapped awake as he panted. He saw his sister, Nezuko, who was kneeling on her knees by Tanjiro's bed.

Tanjiro blinked as he sat up & rubbed his forehead. Nezuko smiled as she held up her cellphone. "A call from Master Kagaya. He would like to speak with you." Nezuko said as she smiled.

Tanjiro blinked. He saw the time on the phone as it was 5 AM. Tanjiro smiled as he grabbed it & put it on his ear. Nezuko patted his shoulder as she left his room. Giving them some privacy to talk.

"Yes, sir? Hello?" Tanjiro spoke as he gulped.

"Ah, Tanjiro. It's good to hear your voice again. I can sense that you've been having dreams about Rengoku lately huh? And today's Valentine's Day. How about you and your friends come by today to celebrate." Kagaya asked Tanjiro.

"Of course! We'll be on our way. Thank you so much, sir." Tanjiro said as he smiled softly & hung up. Tanjiro sighed as he laid back down.

Nezuko then walked back into the room as she rubbed Tanjiro's forehead. "Zenitsu and I are going to the family grave. Would you like to come, brother?" Nezuko asked Tanjiro.

"Maybe later sis. My mind's been on Rengoku a lot lately. I can barely focus on anything." Tanjiro said as he sighed. He tried to hold his tears but he let them fall anyways.

Nezuko hugged Tanjiro as she patted on his back. "There there. Please let it all out, brother. It's okay to miss someone on this day. I do. Mom, dad, our siblings. And of course, Rengoku." Nezuko said as she smiled softly.

Tanjiro looked at her as he smiled back & kissed her cheek. "Thanks sis. I'll visit the family grave a little later on. Happy Valentine's Day." Tanjiro told her as he smiled.

"Aww, thanks. You too! Anyways, I'm going to make us some breakfast. I'll call you when it's done.~" Nezuko said happily as she stood up & skipped to the kitchen.

Tanjiro watched her as he laid back down & looked at the ceiling. He then closed his eyes again. He peacefully fell asleep for a few hours till Nezuko called everyone down for breakfast. Tanjiro slowly opened his eyes as he slowly got out of bed & headed downstairs. He smiled at his friends as they were eating happily.

"Good morning again, brother. Please come join us." Nezuko said as she sat next to Zenitsu.

"Nezuko honey, your cooking is so amazing.~ I wanna marry it so badly.~" Zenitsu said as he blushed.

Nezuko giggled, "You're going to make it spill again, sweetie." Nezuko told her lover as she wiped his mouth.

"Sorry.~ It's just so good, baby.~" Zenitsu said as he blushed.

"All done! Thanks again. Now will you excuse me?" Inosuke ran to the bathroom.

Tanjiro was still eating as he didn't mind that it was getting cold. Nezuko frowned as Zenitsu kissed her cheek & put the dishes in the sink as he washed them. Nezuko sat by Tanjiro as she put her hand on his shoulder. Tanjiro looked at her as he smiled sadly.

"Sorry sis. I'll try and eat it. I'm just….." Tanjiro sighed.

"Take your time. We're not leaving till around noon. Zenitsu and I are going to have a small picnic at the family grave. Not sure what Inosuke's going to do." Nezuko said as she thought.

"He's coming with us. Like I trust him here all alone in this house. No stinkin' way, babe." Zenitsu said as he huffed.

Nezuko giggled. "That's true."

"I'll be alright. I'm getting there. You two go ahead and get dressed. I'll be done." Tanjiro said as he smiled at his sister & friend.

Both Nezuko & Zenitsu smiled as they walked back to their rooms. Tanjiro took his time to eat his breakfast as he was done. He then washed the dish as he headed upstairs to wash up. Over a few hours later, they all left the house. Inosuke followed Nezuko & Zenitsu to the family grave. Tanjiro went to the Master Kagaya's shrine as he smiled at everyone who looked at him. Sanemi nodded his head at Tanjiro as Genya gave him a peace sign as Tanjiro walked past them. He then saw Muichiro as he was by the river looking at it. Tanjiro softly shook his head as he knew Muichiro liked being alone. Tanjiro then saw Obanai as he was on a tree, petting his snake. Tanjiro smiled at him as walked past the trees. He then sighed as he saw Giyu & Tengen drinking together. Tengen's wives all smiled at Tanjiro as Suma gasped as she walked up to Tanjiro.

"Hi Tanjiro! Happy Valentine's Day!" Suma said to him as she hugged him.

"Yeah, sweetie. Happy Valentine's Day." Hinatsuru said as she smiled.

"Happy Valentine's Day. Where's your sister? Makio asked him as she smiled.

"She and Zenitsu went to visit my family. They'll be here later on today." Tanjiro told them as he smiled.

"Awwww. That's so sweet~!" Suma sai as she giggled.

Tanjiro looked at her. "Wait, I mean like they died…..they got…..killed…." Tanjiro said softly as he sighed.

The 3 wives looked at him as they blinked & frowned.

"We're so sorry to hear that, sweetie. This day must be really hard for you to celebrate." Hinatsuru said to him as she hugged him.

"It's alright. Umm sorry but have you guys seen Maser Kagaya? He wants to see me." Tanjiro asked.

"He's inside his shrine. Please knock and be patient when he answers you." Giyu told Tanjiro.

"Yes. Thank you. I'll see you guys later." Tanjiro said as he walked off. Heading to the shrine.

"Poor kid. He's just so heartbroken. I wish I could heal it." Tengen said as he drank all of the sake.

"I wish there was something we could do. I mean look at Shinobu. She lost her sister yet she still has a smile on her face." Giyu told Tengen.

"People grieve differently when it comes to death, Giyu." Makio told him as she smiled softly.

Giyu looked at her as he nodded. He drank some of the sake as he watched Tanjiro headed to the shrine. Tanjiro stood there as he waited. Then the door opened as he looked up. He saw Master Kagaya smile as he walked up to Tanjiro.

"Hello. I'm so happy to see you. But I believe there's someone else who would love to see you, today." Kagaya said to Tanjiro as he turned around.

Tanjiro didn't say a word as he followed him. He felt a little cold & saw tons of cherry blossom petals flying everywhere. Tanjiro grabbed one as he sniffed it. Kagaya smiled as he moved away. Tanjiro saw a shadowy figure standing. Tanjiro tried to look closely.

"Tanjiro. Tanjiro, it's me. Come here." A voice said.

Tanjiro tried to memorize it but the voice was a little far away. Tanjiro tried to walk up to them as they called his name again.

"Tanjiro. It's me. Can you recognize my voice, sweetie?" They said again as the sun faded away.

Tanjiro gasped as he ran up to Rengoku & hugged him. "Rengoku! Rengoku! Oh my gosh. It's you! It's really you!" Tanjiro said as he began to cry.

Rengoku kissed his hair & hugged him very close to him. He smiled at Kagaya once more as Kagaya smiled & left them alone. Rengoku lifted Tanjiro's chin & kissed him. Tanjiro blushed & kissed him back.

"I'm not dreaming anymore am I? Is this real?" Tanjiro asked as he blushed.

"This is real, my love. Master was able to bring me back to life. Now let's celebrate this holiday shall we~?" Rengoku said as he held onto Tanjiro's hand.

Tanjiro held onto his hand as they two walked up a hill that was a cherry blossom tree. Tanjiro gasped as he saw this in his dreams many times. He smiled at Rengoku as Rengoku smiled back. He then pushed Tanjiro down onto the flower as Rengoku got on top of him. Tanjiro blushed as he looked around. Making sure no one is around.

"Don't worry love. Master said this is very private. So no one will hear and disturb us.~" Rengoku said as he kissed Tanjiro's neck.

Tanjiro blushed as he slowly closed his eyes. Yep this was from his dream & he wanted it to come true. He then unbuttoned his shirt as he watched Rengoku did the same. Tanjiro blushed as he rubbed his lover's chest. Rengoku smiled as he did the same.

"You're healthy. That's good. I wanted you to be healthy when I died." Rengoku told Tanjiro as he smiled.

"Nezuko usually takes care of me. Even though I'm the big brother." Tanjiro said as he giggled.

Rengoku smiled as he laid on his back, taking off his pants & boxers. Tanjiro saw him as he blushed. He then got on top of his lover.

"Would you like to ride me, dear one~?" Rengoku asked him as he licked his lips. Holding onto his crotch.

"O-Of course~! I always wanted to try this position.~" Tanjiro said as he stripped nude & got on his lover's hardon.

Rengoku moaned softly as Tanjiro bit his lips & slowly slid himself inside. Tanjiro gasped as he rolled his eyes back. Rengoku held onto his hips as he smiled at his lover.

"That's good, sweetie.~ Now move up and down. I'll be okay.~" Rengoku told Tanjiro as he put his hand on his cheek.

Tanjiro smiled at his lover as he did so. He moaned softly. Rengoku moaned as the cherry blossoms petals fell onto them. Tanjiro didn't mind it much as he kept riding his lover. He wanted to focus on him instead of the petals. Rengoku smiled at him as he began to sweat but he didn't mind it much. He then licked his lips as he sat up & licked Tanjiro's nipples. Tanjiro gasped as he moaned & kept going.

"Mmmmm.~ Mmmmm.~ Rengoku….~ You feel so good.~ I just can't stop…~" Tanjiro moaned as he smiled at his lover, lustfully.

"My love, I wanna pound you now.~" Rengoku gently laid Tanjiro down as he pounded into him. Deep inside him to make him feel good.

Tanjiro gasped as he gripped onto the flower bed. Rengoku smiled at him as he thrusted deeper inside of him. Tanjiro rolled his eyes back as he now feels amazing & is loving the feeling.

"Ahhhh.~ Ooooooh.~ R-Rengoku….~! D-Don't stop.~" Tanjiro begged as he scratched onto his lover's back.

"You're not getting tired at all, dear one~? If I'm close then maybe we can go for round two.~ Mmmmm.~" Rengoku said to Tanjiro as he kept thrusting.

Tanjiro blushed as he drooled. Moaning as his lover passionately kissed him. Tanjiro kissed him back as he stroked himself. Rengoku spread Tanjiro's legs even wider as he thrusted some more. Tanjiro panted as he was at his limit. He doesn't want this love making to end, but he knows the sun is nearly down & his sister along with Zenitsu & Inosuke are here talking to the other hashiras. Tanjiro looked at his lover as he whispered into his ear.

"I-I'm close, honey. But please…come inside me…..~ I wanna feel you all night long.~" Tanjiro said as he begged.

Rengoku blushed as he kissed Tanjiro's neck & kept thrusting. Tanjiro moaned softly as he rolled his eyes back once more. Tanjiro groaned as he came. Rengoku gasped happily as he thrusted a few times & came inside Tanjiro as he panted. Tanjiro blushed as he looked up at his lover as he smiled at him. Rengoku smiled back at him as he pulled out & laid beside him. Tanjiro held onto his arm as they both looked at the cherry blossom tree.

"I'm so glad you're back. Would you like to live with me, my sister, and my friends? We'll come back and visit here for whatever's going on, sweetie.~" Tanjiro asked his lover.

"I would love to~! You guys have been doing so well fighting off demons and protecting others in the village." Rengoku told Tanjiro as he smiled at him.

Tanjiro smiled back. He then sat up as he & Rengoku got dressed & the two walked out.

"Speak of the devil, here he comes right now, Nezuko dear." Shinobu said to her as she giggled at the lovers.

Tanjiro & Rengoku happily held hands as they smiled & waved at everyone. Everyone gasped as they saw Rengoku. Alive & well. They all walked up to him.

"Is this for real?! You're alive? We're not dreaming?!" Tengen said as he touched & rubbed Rengoku's face.

"Hahaha, you are in fact not dreaming at all. I'm alive and well." Rengoku said as he smiled at friend.

Tanjiro smiled at everyone as they all walked up to Rengoku & gave him a hug. They all cried too. Nezuko held onto Tanjiro's hand & hugged him.

"Brother, are you okay? How is this possible?" Nezuko asked her brother.

"The master brought him back to life. I couldn't be more thankful and happier. Which I am actually. Hehe." Tanjiro said as he blushed.

Nezuko giggled, "Well it seemed like you had a great Valentine's Day then. I'm happy for you, brother." Nezuko said as she hugged Tanjiro.

Tanjiro smiled as he hugged her back. Then Rengoku walked up to them & hugged them both. He smiled at Nezuko as Nezuko smiled back at him.

"Are you guys okay with him, living with us for now?" Tanjiro asked them.

"Hell yeah! I don't mind big eyes staying with us. He promised that he'll train us!" Inosuke said happily.

"A promise is a promise. Now are you guys hungry?" Rengoku asked them.

Tanjiro blushed as his tummy growled. "I…I am…~" Tanjiro said as he hid behind Nezuko.

Nezuko giggled as she held onto his hand & smiled at him. Rengoku held onto Tanjiro's hand as everyone waved at them. They all headed home as Rengoku agreed to make some dinner for everyone as they all got ready.

Tanjiro got ready as he was extremely happy. Nezuko walked into his room as she smiled.

"Hey sis. How was the visit to the family grave?" Tanjiro asked her as he turned to her.

"I nearly cried. But Zenitsu helped me through it. We had a small picnic. A small chat, and yeah. We came back to see how you were doing. You're a lot happier than ever." Nezuko told Tanjiro as she smiled.

"Yeah. Thanks sis. I'll visit our family with you next time. I promise." Tanjiro said as he hugged Nezuko.

Nezuko hugged him back as she smiled. "Rengoku can come too."

"Awesome. Also I believe he's done with dinner now." Tanjiro said as he walked to the kitchen.

"Ah hello love. Dinner is ready.~" Rengoku said happily as he got everything all set up & ready.

Everyone sat at the table as Tanjiro sat next to his lover. They ate their dinner as they all enjoyed it. It was nearly 1 AM, as they all washed up & headed to bed. Tanjiro showed Rengoku his room.

"So this is my room. It's a bit small, but it's really warm. Would you like to sleep with me tonight~?" Tanjiro asked his lover.

"Of course I do love. I'm back alive and I wanna do many things with you.~" Rengoku said as he picked up Tanjiro & the two headed to Tanjiro's bed.

Tanjiro blushed as he cuddled next to his lover. Rengoku kissed his forehead & cuddled him back.

"Your bed is very warm and comfy. Also really big.~ I love it, sweetie.~" Rengoku said as he smiled at Tanjiro.

"Thank you. Just like you, I'm so happy….~" Tanjiro said as he giggled.

"We'll have fun after we train. Now get some shut eye, my dear one. Good night.~" Rengoku said to Tanjiro as he kissed him one last time.

Tanjiro blushed & kissed Rengoku back as the two had fallen asleep. He was indeed really happy as he can finally enjoy Valentine's Day again.
