It's 1899 and Arthur Morgan decides to leave his gang of outlaws for a bit to go on a hunting trip. He stops by the village of Strawberry and meets a caravan of wealthy ladies. The famed Rosalyn Bush is in town, and he starts planning a heist on his own but discovers Isabella Morningstar. His former girlfriend and famed bounty hunter "The Devil in Red." is protecting them. OC struggles with severe body image issues & low self-worth and loves Arthur but is convinced he's too good for her. Arthur does his best to comfort her and set her straight. (Canon-divergent) Themes of loneliness v. friendship/compassion & hope v. hopelessness throughout. Not graphic or explicit, but covers mature themes, e.g. marriage, loving sex, & longing for family.
