She never wanted to hurt anyone. She only wanted to live a normal life. Going to school. Having a great family. Having fun. She always wanted a little brother and she got one for her birthday a few years ago and he evolved into a Umbreon for duality. This girl just wanted to have fun and not worry about too many problems. However ever since he evolved, she noticed he became more angry. More aggressive... More... Hateful. He keeps trying to get her in trouble by any means necessary and soon enough her parents start to believe it since it happens so often. She is currently in her room practicing her psychic. She never had a lock on her door as she never needed one and as she's practicing, her brother walks in.
"Hey sis." He says whist laying on the door frame with an evil grin, "What ya doin'?"
"I'm practicing my psychic powers like i always do since someone keeps getting me grounded." She replies with a hint of hate in her voice.
"Oh really?" He says mockingly. "I can't believe someone would do that to you."
Just as he said that, their fathers voice can be heard in distance calling her name.
"What did you do now?!" She says
"Oh go and find out," He replies as his grin continues to grow.
She huffs and gets ready to go down but is soon shouted again to speed up and when she goes downstairs, both of her parents are seen near the table with a bunch of blue things on the table. She recognizes it imminently as Rare Candies, a drug that can level up a pokemon but has some averse side effects such as increased temper, aggressive behavior etc. She sighs and looks at her father.
"MELODY HOW DARE YOU DO THIS?!" He screams as he points at the Rare Candies on the table. "WE RAISED YOU TO NOT DO DRUGS"
"It wasn't me though, it was Kyle." She says in attempt to defend herself.
"You always blame him, what has he ever done to you?" Her mother says.
Melody thinks of everything that Kyle has done to her and she has an entire list in her head. She is soon slapped out of that mindset when her father throws some Candies in her face.
"LISTEN TO ME GIRL, IF I CATCH YOU DOING THIS AGAIN I WONT BE HAPPY!" He exclaims, "Do. I. Make. Myself. Clear?"
With a bit of fear, "Y-yes father."
After that she runs back upstairs to avoid anyone else but of course, its never that easy since her brother comes in to 'check' on his sister. She ignores him as he enters the room.
"C'mon sis, its just your brother, you can tell me," He says in a fake calming voice. "I just want to know your weaknesses and exploit them. HAHAHAHA!"
"Just leave me alone..." She says as she starts crying. "I don't want to see you at all."
"Tch fine, just know that tomorrow will be a very fun day." He says as he leaves her room and closing the door.
Why cant i just be left in peace... I wanted a brother to play with... I wanted a brother to help... I wanted a brother to have fun with... But this isn't what i wanted. These were her thoughts through her sleep and she never let that go. She only wanted a brother to have fun with him but he became more evil as time passed. She wanted him gone and wished he had never appeared. After these thoughts she falls into a deep sleep and tries to get a comfortable nights rest.
She wakes up and does her usual normal routine such as brushing her fur, polishing her ruby, washing her teeth etc. After she's finished with that she goes downstairs for breakfast but when she gets to the table there are only three plates and she already knows that they didn't make breakfast for her. She goes to the kitchen and makes her own breakfast being some eggs and toast and she gets ready for school. She leaves early to avoid walking with her brother and makes it to school half an hour early. She goes to the library and just sits and reads a book for the past twenty five minutes. Nobody disturbs her and she doesn't disturb anyone. That's until she notices her brother coming along with two of his friends. She quickly manages to hide herself from them as they pass by obviously looking her. Soon enough the bell rings and she makes it to class. First is math. She is sat at the back alone with the closest pokemon being two seats Infront of her since most are taking the day off since their family.
"Melody," The teacher says trying to catch her off guard. "What the answer to this question?" pointing at a question asking what is the quadratic formula.
"The quadratic formula is..." She says whist trying to remember off the top of her head. "Its minus b, plus or minus, the square root of b squared take away four a b all over two squared."
Everyone is surprised she remembered it but don't clap as many pokemon think that psychic types have a better memory then a non psychic type.
"That is correct Melody." The teacher says also quite shocked. "Now then Brian answer this question."
Melody just sits at the back writing down any important notes but just thinks of how maybe she could make her life better. She doesn't think of anything before the lesson ends and she is headed to P.E. It's mostly just battling to get stronger as it does also provide good exercise since you need to dodge a lot. Melody is up first against a Dark Type an Absol to be exact, she thinks nothing of it as she's been trying to teach herself dazzling gleam for these situations.
The teacher gets ready to start the battle and the battle begins with the Absol shooting a Shadow Ball Melody's way. She dodges it quite easily and counters with Psychic by throwing objects around the field at the Absol. The Absol suddenly disappears when Melody was preparing to do the same thing but soon realizes it used Sucker Punch. Melody dodges it but with a cost of getting cut on her back. She fights the pain and shoots her own Shadow Ball back at the Absol. It hits with smoke going everywhere and pokemon wondering if the Absol is down. The smoke clears and the Absol is still standing just with a few cuts. That's when the teacher calls off the match as it was getting too far.
Melody rushes off to the nurse to heal her wound and the teacher gives her a note to do so. On her way she notices her brother graffitiing on one of the school toilets but quickly ignores it so she doesn't take the blame. She arrives at the nurse and the Audino inside seats her.
"Melody your back again," says the Audino whist treating her with Heal Pulse
"Yea... It was an Absol in PE." She replies. "It isn't major but i wouldn't risk it."
The Audino giggles, "You've always been so protective of yourself."
Melody thinks the same on how she has always done everything to protect herself. She soon thinks that maybe if she doesn't protect herself then it'll just end quicker. Soon the tanoid comes online and calls for her to come to the principals office. Both of them look at each other and the Audino offers to take Melody to the Principal's office. Once they arrive, the Principal, Kyle and a few other teachers are inside waiting for her. She steps forward and the Principal uses his psychic power to show an image of the toilet.
"So tell me why you did this?" Principal asked with some sort of suspicion.
"W-what..." Melody says slightly shaken. "I-i didn't do it..."
"Your brother says he saw you do it and he tried to stop you doing it."
"Hold on," The Audino intervenes. "Melody has been with me the past few minutes so it couldn't have been her."
The teacher seem shocked by this and Kyle is starting to sweat slightly. Melody notices and tries to put more pressure on him.
"I went straight to the nurse's office after my battle with [Random Absol Name] since I was cut." She starts to explain. "I walked past the toilets and saw Kyle doing the graffiti on the toilets."
Feeling proud of herself, she smiles however Kyle starts grinning.
"We should check the camera's," He says, "That'll prove who did it."
Everyone agrees and goes to the camera room. Inside is a single pokemon overlooking twenty or so camera's. The Principal asks to see camera eleven for a few minutes ago and they agree and give the footage for the whole day. They review the footage and find that Melody did the graffiti first but then Kyle was trying to clean it but couldn't and told a teacher. This shocks everyone since the camera footage and the actual story doesn't add up. The Principal thinks for a minute with everyone awaiting an answer.
"Melody, i will suspend you for the time being until we found out what truly happened." He says
Melody is shocked by this, even with evidence it was her and it wasn't, she's still getting suspended. She glances at Kyle who is grinning and obviously very happy at the result of this. She goes back to the office with Audino and packs her stuff. She leaves school grounds and looks back at the place. Her eyes light up a little but quickly dim back to their purple nature. She walks home despite it being a two hour walk and when she enters the house, her parents are waiting for her and are obviously not very happy.
"Again..." Her mother says trying to deny it. "You keep causing trouble..."
"Ye and its getting really annoying." Her father says whist trying to contain his anger. "Your giving us a bad name."
"B-but it h-hasn't been proven i-it was m-me y-yet." Melody says trying to defend herself.
"Well too bad, your involved and you know I'm not letting that slide." He says very angry. "Now come along and follow me."
She follow him without resistance and her mother just watches her leave. They both walk to a hidden room inside the house and Melody gets into a device that she has been in enough times.
"Good girl, now I'm sure your aware of what happens next?" He says even though he knows she knows the answer.
She nods slightly expecting it and soon enough her father is on top of her and touching her. She doesn't try to stop him and he starts touching her pussy and rubbing it. Melody doesn't believe that for one second but with no call from their parents for a good five minutes, she believes him.
"So what do you want then?" Melody asks
"Simple," He says. "I just want to see you suffer."
As he says that he shoots a Shadow Ball at her head and once it hits her she's bleeding badly on the floor. He scoffs and walks off leaving her in bad shape. Melody being the tough girl she is, stands up covered in her own blood and goes to bathroom to clean it up. On the way though her mother notices it but doesn't say anything and how did Melody know? Psychic powers. She arrives in the bathroom and cleans the blood from her head and body and looks at herself in the mirror and sees a massive cut on her head. She doesn't care at this rate as she makes a makeshift bandage and covers it. She leaves and goes back to her room and looks at her ceiling. She wonders what would happen if she died instead of lived. Would they care about me?
Late at night, Melody wakes up and goes to her window. She looks out towards the wonderful night and thinks of how her life could've been like that if it weren't for her brother always ruining everything. She sighs and goes back to her bed and only just realizes she never cleaned the blood from earlier and does that. Whist doing that she hears something from outside. A roar of sorts and she rushes to the window. Outside the window is a battle between Deoxys and Rayquaza. Melody swore that Deoxys and Rayquaza made up from when humans were still around and they've been chilling together ever since. She opens her window to get a better view and sees a Psyco Boost headed towards a nearby house. It explodes and screams are all that are filling the night sky.
Soon enough, other legendaries start joining the fray to separate the two, however since both Rayquaza and Deoxys are too powerful for the legendaries, it mostly ends in more damage. She leaves her room to tell her family but notices they've already left. She soon leaves the house as well and just as she looks back, a Sacred Fire redirected away back at their house and the place burns down in an instant. Other pokemon try putting the fire out but its no use and everyone starts running.
Melody stops running and looks back at the fight. Rayquaza has Deoxys on the floor with a Hyper Beam ready to completely destroy Deoxys. Melody runs back towards the fight and just as she's close enough, Deoxys body gets completely destroyed. She watches in horror as Rayquaza roars in victory and as the other legendaries just watch it unfold. She rushes at Rayquaza and just looks at him in horror and amazement.
"What do you want?" Rayquaza says whist looking at her.
"Just a question..." Melody says whist trying not to piss him off.
"I don't have time, only one"
"Do i belong in this world?" She says whist looking down.
Rayquaza is obviously surprised by this question and didn't expect it. He expected if she could get an autograph or something. He thinks for a bit and soon replies.
"Everyone has their place in this world somehow." He says, "Why have you asked that of all questions?"
"Its just... I don't know whether I'm wanted." She says whist still looking down.
"Face me."
Her head quickly snaps up staring at Rayquaza's bright yellow eyes.
"You do belong in this world." He says, "All pokemon have a role to fill, you just haven't found it yet."
He soon flies back up to the ozone layer and flocks of people start coming to Melody to ask questions. She panics and accidently teleports herself in the middle of nowhere.
She looks at her new surroundings and knows its a forest. She examines the plants and knows she is still close to the city and begins walking towards there. She thinks of Rayquaza's words and how she hasn't found her purpose yet. After an hour walk she is back in the city and heads to the ruins of her house. When she arrives there another two hours later, she sees her family there also overlooking the damage and Kyle is the first to notice her. She ignores him and goes to the house.
"Melody." Her father says whist looking incredibly angry, "Why didn't you protect the house?"
She ignores him and just keeps staring at the rubble. This prompts her father to forcefully grab her and face him.
"Listen here you little bitch," He says with a flame burning in his eyes, "I've had it up to here with your attitude, listen!"
She nods slightly and he lets go of her. She doesn't even notice how badly her body was shaking when he was that close to her. The family stare at the rubble until the man of the house takes them and makes them move to another house. This house is slightly bigger then the previous house and has one extra room. They all settle down nicely after a few days work. The school understood their issue and let both of them off for a few days to recover from their house burning down. Soon enough though everything returns to how it used to be. Melody sitting in her room practicing how to learn Dazzling Gleam. Her brother however walks in and does what he does best. Makes her life a living hell.
"Well Sis," Kyle says whist examining her new room, "I hope you haven't been too comfortable."
She side eyes him and a few seconds after, their father is calling her name. She sighs and goes downstairs. When she's there, fully expecting some Carbos or something on the table, there is nothing. She looks at her parents who aren't happy with her. Her father goes to her and begins cutting into her neck with a Leaf Blade. She's panicking and her whole body is shaking out of fear. She doesn't care what he's saying right now and is only trying to get out of his grip and soon enough blinds him with a Dazzling Gleam. Both parents are stunned on how she learnt an extremely complicated move if she's always causing trouble but don't show it. Melody however fearing the consequences runs out the house as fast as she can.
She makes it to a park and sits on bench. She starts crying as nothing she does is good enough and being a failure is all she can ever be. Pokemon walk past not caring enough to help her. Melody sits on the bench for the entire day watching some wild pokemon roam the lake Infront of her. She doesn't care about anything else at the moment apart from trying to keep herself happy. However her brother sits next to her.
"Ballsy move sis," He says whist also watching the wild pokemon, "He is extremely pissed with you now."
"And that's your fault..." She says defeated
"Awww... don't tell you've given up?" He says whist grinning, "Well you haven't given up on life yet since your still here."
She ignores the comment and gets up off the bench. She starts walking away but Kyle follows her everywhere. She goes into the female bathroom and starts weeping. She just wants him to leave her alone and just as before when she wasn't in a good position, she teleported and once again she does teleport. She realizes she's home and in her room. She sighs in relief but soon turns and sees her father standing in the doorway extremely angry. She already know what's coming next and just goes to him.
- Rayquaza PoV
After that talk with that Espeon, Rayquaza has started questioning whether he was right in what he said. He decided to watch over her in his free-time to make sure she gets on alright and the first thing he sees is she is having sex with her father. He however doesn't know this and she seems incredibly sad whist its happening so he knows that she doesn't like it. He cant do much as if he kills a random family then all legendaries will be after his ass and he can beat maybe four or five of them but not all of them. He sighs and goes out further then the ozone and starts munching on a meteorite. He looks back at her life and sees her father walk away whist she stays on the floor crying her eyes out. Rayquaza thinks of a way to help but can't as he has duties and he doesn't have any pokemon to befriend her like other legendaries. With that, he decides that whenever she plans on doing something crazy, he will intervene.
Melody gets up from the floor and goes back to her room. She starts practicing how to teleport to make it easier to escape danger and get away from this family. She first thinks of her room whist she's outside and then she teleports inside and keeps testing like this until her brother comes in to annoy her once again. This time however she just teleports away before he can get a word out. She teleported downstairs where nobody was and goes to leave the house for school. She teleports to school and heads to the library. She reads a book and for once, someone tapped her shoulder.
"Hey," This unknown pokemon said, "Could you maybe show me where the Principal's office is?"
"U-umm... O-of course..." Not usually being talked to during school hours has made her extremely anxious and they show the pokemon to the Principal's office.
"Thanks a lot," They says, "Name's Blade, yours?"
"I-I'm Melody..." She says whist looking away. "Y-You should probably g-go in s-so you don't leave t-them waiting..."
"Haha right," He says with a bright smile, "See ya at lunch."
He enters the room and Melody goes back to the library and as always hides away when she sees her brother. She soon goes to her first lesson and the one she hates the most. CP which is Combat Potential. All they teach is strategies on how to win and half the time they don't work. Melody goes to class and in this class, she sits next to her brother and she tries to avoid him best she can but soon enough he already has found a way to get her in trouble. He walks to his female friend which is an Alolan Ninetales. A rarer species but still a Ninetales. Soon enough Kyle comes back and during the training on where we practice our moves on dummies, Kyle is seen hurt and he blames it on Melody.
"MELODY!" The teacher yells, "AIM AT THE DUMMIES NOT YOUR SIBLING!"
"B-but..." She tries saying but can't due to fear
"DETENTION"
"LISTEN TO ME!" She yells getting everyone's attention, "YOUR AN IDIOT, IM A PSYCHIC TYPE AND DARK TYPES CANT BE HIT BY PSYCHIC MOVES, USE YOUR BRAIN!"
Everyone is shocked at this but now know Kyle was lying and the teacher isn't happy about being called an idiot.
"MELODY LEAVE MY CLASSROOM NOW!"
She walks out and goes to the garden. She looks up to the sky and begins crying.
"Rayquaza... You've lied to me... I have no purpose..." She says ignoring everything.
She then goes to reception and gets permission to leave the school. However she doesn't go home but rather goes to a park to calm down. She sits there thinking of how her life has been nothing but trouble. No matter the case, she doesn't want to exist. She just wants to disappear. After calming down, she starts heading to her new home and before entering the door, she remembers she can teleport and does so to avoid trouble with her parents. She's in her room and decides to start starving herself and see if anyone notices and to see if anyone would care. She knows it'll hurt but wants to see how badly they care about her.
After a few hours her mother comes into her room and she's perfecting Dazzling Gleam on a dummy she brought with her own money. Her mother just watches as she trains and once she's done, her mother calls out her name and Melody is terrified that she's done something wrong again. She starts shaking and backing away slightly but her mother doesn't seem to care and keeps approaching her.
"Melody dear," Her mother says, "How about we take a road trip?"
Melody doesn't trust it in the slightest but she has no choice as they'll force her to come along anyway.
"W-where?" Melody asks expecting no answer.
"The pokemon festival," She replies, "Maybe that'll help with this behavior."
Her mother leaves her as Melody is stunned at what happened and starts thinking of all possibilities that could happen during the festival. She takes any and all precautions and in a minute they are all on the road going to the next city for the pokemon festival. Melody is shaking the entire way being so close to her father and brother who have both traumatized her. She sets up a Barrier around herself as she sleeps during the ride which the family notice but decide not the question. Soon enough Kyle is trying to wake up Melody due to his parents request and she dissipates the Barrier and gets out as quick as possible. She then goes to the entrance alone after taking her ticket from her father. She rushes ahead so they don't follow her and it works to her surprise and she has a day to herself with nobody disturbing her. She sits on a patch of grass and starts to read on easier ways to teleport made by Mew years ago. She reads loads of different books and looks at the time and it's the time for her to leave with her family and she goes back to the car to wait. Her family arrives and aren't happy she ran off.
"When we get home, you already know what's coming," her father says in an angry tone.
"Sis your in big trouble." Kyle says whist grinning.
"Well too bad," Melody says, "I'll see you all at home." She teleports away surprising the family and they start to head home. Melody used this time to run away for the night. She grabbed some brushes, a tooth brush and paste, her ruby polisher and a few more items like books etc. She escapes as she hears the car go into the drive way and she teleports away. With nobody to ruin her reading, she starts reading how to love. She soon finds an interesting method called abusive love. This is where a lover will abuse you for attention, in-command or show-off. Melody thinks this is how her family has been treating her and she soon rejects that idea as its happened for so long that its too believable. She cries in night however that's cut short.
She hears some growling nearby and a group of Lycanrocs are nearby. She tries to run but they notice her and surround her. One of them uses taunt so she can't teleport away or do anything funny. She starts shaking and fears that they'll rape her as nobody is out here to do anything. However their leader notices the shaking and stops them. The leader approaches her and she shakes even more and slowly starts backing away. All the Lycanrocs now notice her fear and step back.
"Miss calm down please." says the leader.
Melody can't calm down and faints as she can't take any more. The Lycanrocs all are worried and take her to their hide-out and wait for her to wake up. She does wake up in an hours time and notices she isn't where she passed out and after seeing a Rockruff nearby, she thinks she's in the Lycanroc hide-out. This prompts her to start shaking again as she doesn't know what they'll do to her. The leader comes into her room and stays far from her.
"Are you okay miss?" They ask
"I-I t-think I'm f-fine now..." Melody replies
"That's good." The leader says, "I am very sorry about my members that scared you. We thought you were just trying to steal our food."
Melody unsure of what to do just sits on the end of the bed. The leader stays the same distance from where they are. Melody just thinks of what her life has come to and how it has just become more chaotic. She also remembers the time of when Kyle was a decent pokemon and played with her when he was an Eevee. She misses those times and lays back on the bed. The leader notices her about to cry and leaves her to her own devices. Melody just rolls in her sleep imagining what life would be like if she didn't exist. After a few hours she gets up and leaves the room she was in. She goes towards the exit that is nearby and looks out and its really early in the morning. The leader walks next to her.
"Be safe out their miss." The leader says whist looking down as their much taller.
"I-I will..." Melody says then teleports away.
She is in her room once again but this time wants to try and kill herself. She teleports a rope to her and a lock. She locks her door and covers her blinds and tries the rope to her light. She lifts herself with her psychic power and puts it around her neck. She doesn't stop herself from dropping by releasing her psychic power. Melody is too scared to drop it...
Kyle is in his room doing what he normally does which is talking with friends for new ideas to torture his sister. He finishes his talk and gets prep'ed to go to his sister to get her in trouble and goes to her room. When he tries to open the door he can't. Funny, she never had a lock so why won't it open he thinks. He smirks and goes back to his room and goes into his closet and there is a hidden passage to his sister's room. He goes through it and gets out in her closet and when he opens the door he sees his sister hung from a rope on the ceiling. Shocked and unsure of what to do he just sits staring. Kyle relives all the moments where he has done something to his sister and he starts crying his eyes out. His parents hearing him, come to Melody's room and can't get in. Their father breaks down the door with a single leaf blade and the sight to behold was horrid. Nobody could say anything at the sight and everyone was sorry for what happened to her. Nobody wanted this to happen. Her mother opens the blind and outside is Rayquaza watching and sees her body. The now family of three go outside to Rayquaza.
"What. Did. You. Do?!" Rayquaza says with his voice booming throughout the entire town with everyone watching any way they can.
"W-We didn't m-mean to..." Her father says obviously sad.
"I-I'm s-so sorry s-sister" Kyle says whist staring at Rayquaza.
"What have you done?" Rayquaza says whist looking at Kyle.
"I-I did a-anything a-and everything t-to get h-her i-in t-trouble." Kyle says whist sobbing, "G-Getting Rare C-Candies, Damaging t-the h-house, V-Vandalism e-everything."
Rayquaza looks furious and a Hyper Beam starts forming in his mouth as his rage starts taking over. Everyone starts running from the location but Melody's family stays as the karma for doing her so wrong. He shoots it away before it hits anything and he looks at them with anger.
"She would not want me to kill you all," Rayquaza says, "You will never get my aid though."
They are fine with this punishment and go back inside as Rayquaza goes back to the Ozone layer. The family leave the body alone for the day and pay their respects. Melody however is happy to be away from all these horrid times and the torture she has been put through. All the new people she met told her to be safe but in this household she couldn't and it went too far and she died knowing that everyone will weep but is atleast happy she is free from all of this torture.
