During the bright sunny afternoon, there were sounds of creatures being active and roaming about in the forest area of a mountainous region. Birds were singing, the herbivores were munching on the grass and plants and everything was right and peaceful…

Almost.

A young man clad in armour with thorns was thrown back and crashed into a stone wall, a massive sword landing beside him.

"Ow, son of a bitch." He groaned before he immediately grabbed hold of the giant blade and dodges out of the way when zygodactyl talons came into view and crashed into the stone wall. The hunter looks up at his opponent/prey, a giant, parrot-like wyvern with golden scales and a single backwards-curving horn. This creature was the wyvern of a thousand blades: the seregios, an agile, fast moving and fierce and aggressive monster with scales so sharp, they can shred a person to ribbons. A very dangerous monster indeed, which is why Jacob Raker, the hunter in his trusty nergigante armour and his nergigante greatsword, the purgation's atrocity, accepted the quest to hunt the flying wyvern after hearing that it has been threatening his home village to protect his home and friends. That and that he also needs the money of the reward.

The seregios lets out a roar and rattled its tail and swung it in Jacobs direction, sending a few scales flying at him. Jacob dodges the deadly blades before he charges at the thousand blade wyvern and swung his mighty blade across its face, causing it to jerk back with a hiss. Its scales aren't just sharp, they're tough too so it wasn't a bloody wound. The monster growled before taking to the air.

With an annoyed sigh, Jacob sheaths his weapon and goes after the seregios. Thankfully, with the scout flies strapped to his belt, it wouldn't be too hard to find; they already have the beast's scent.

He walked and came across a flock of gargwas grazing about. Like most species of herbivore, they're normally docile creatures but will attack and flee when they're threatened. They coexist with the people of Yukumo village as livestock, but they have been known to attack hunters from time to time.

Jacob simply walked around the flock, letting them eat in peace, seeing no point in bothering the creatures if they're not on his monster hit list. He just simply ignored the peaceful gargwas, who were focused on eating and enjoying their peaceful moment. The gargwas were likely happy that the hunter that came into the area wasn't interested in them.

So he kept going, but as he neared the exit of the area, Jacob stopped.

Something's coming.

He didn't hear a large monster but he did hear yelling. And it sounded close, like in the same area close, just further behind him. He placed his left hand to the side of his helmet, like trying to listen to the wind clearer. Jacob didn't make a sound as he listened, then he heard.

"Oh this is so awesome Martin, it's like a giant prehistoric turkey!"

"Oh yeah Chris, it's likely the ancestor of a turkey, but also the ostrich no doubt. It's so adorable too!"

"Turkey, ostrich, what the hell are those?" Jacob muttered to himself silently. He crouched down and started to crawl in the direction of those two voices silently.

As he neared, he heard the voices get louder, it's like those two men want the whole jungle to hear them.

"Okay, by the sounds of it, these two are reckless teenagers who think they're good enough to lure in creatures by talking loudly, morons." Jacob muttered as he neared. He soon arrived and stood behind crumbling old walls that were covered in vines, trees and bushes. Quietly moving through the bushes, the young hunter poked his head out from the top of the bushes, his helmet visible.

Ahead of him, he saw two humans acting weird around a gargwa. Hell, they're not even wearing armour or carrying weaponry, are they complete fools to come out here defenceless? If those two encounter a dangerous large monster, they're fucked.

The tall one, likely the same height as Jacob is, stood six feet and four inches tall. He was wearing boots, short pants, and a blue long-sleeve shirt made from strange materials and it had black stripes running across the sides, the sleeves were rolled up though, heck their clothes are strange, kinda reminds him of one of those people who try to look like normal working people or something. They both have tan skin, so it was obvious that they'd been outside a lot. Hell, he had no doubt haven't that they even wore armour. Still, the tall one of the duo has blond-brownish hair and big blue eyes, and seems to be acting like a child around the gargwa.

Then the other one, stood about five feet and ten inches tall, and wore similar boots, similar short pants, and a long-sleeve shirt that also had black stripes running across the sides and the sleeves were rolled up. It also has a bit of opening, what seems like a white shirt underneath. He has spiked brown hair and light brown eyes. And out of the duo, he seems to be much more of an observer compared to the other.

They seem to be lucky that they didn't agitate the gargwa to attack them otherwise they'd be feeling bruises for a week if the bird wyvern attacked them.

"Whoa Chris, this bird is so pretty and majestic." The tall one said, smiling as he looked up at the gargwa who stood tall and looked down at them.

"It stands at least eight feet tall, bigger than a raptor I think."

He then smiled.

"Think I'll call you Majestic."

"Going for something simple, nice Martin." the small one replied with a smile. So that's their names; the small one is Chris and the big one is Martin.

'Sure they are nice, looking peaceful creatures, but calling one majestic... but really?' Jacob thought, looking confused at the two men.

Chris had gotten behind the gargwa; seemed to be viewing its ass until he saw something.

"Martin, look! Majestic is a girl, a hen, it looks like she's about to lay an egg!" Chris said, getting his brother's attention.

"Oh so Majestic is a girl, not a guy, still cool," Martin said with a smile, and both humans watched the gargwa lay down and out came an egg.

Jacob rolled his eyes; of course it's a hen, all gargwas are hens, no such thing as a male gargwa, besides gargwas lay fake eggs to distract predators. And then the two men gasped as they saw as the Gargwa got back up, there lying on the ground was a golden egg. Looks like the two men are having a lucky day.

"No way, she laid a golden egg!" Chris exclaimed in surprise.

"It's like in that fairy tale, Jack and the Beanstalk, a real live goose that lays golden eggs!" said Martin; both of them were looking down at the egg with wide eyes, likely seeing it being so adorable.

Jacob was confused. Jack and the beanstalk? What kind of fairy tale is that? The only fairy tales Jacob knows are dalamadur, the mountain king and the archdemon of the abyss.

"Hey, where's she going? Come back, you're leaving your egg!" Martin called after Majestic who fled from the two men. He ran off after the Gargwa, while Chris seemed to be examining the egg.

Then suddenly he pulled out a strange item and it made the egg glow for a moment. He was looking at it before he called out to Martin.

"Martin, wait! Come look at this!"

and the tall man came back and looked at it.

"Do you see what I see?"

Martin looked in surprise.

"Oh it's infertile, Majestic is like a giant chicken!"

"She likely laid the egg to distract predators while she flees." Chris said, smiling.

"Cool creature power, producing fake large eggs to distract predators while it flees."

"So Majestic saw us as a predator." Martin mused, and then he turned and went and chased after the gargwa.

"Wait Majestic, we're not predators, we're friends!"

'Why do I get the feeling these two are more likely to get a Gargwa coop to collect eggs?' Jacob thought to himself. no one truly knows if a gargwa egg is infertile unless the egg hatches in a few weeks. There are two theories on the gargwas with their egg laying method, the most common thought is leaving an egg behind to distract predators while the gargwa could escape.

There had also been reports of people keeping the egg after it was found and weeks later the egg hatched into a gargwa chick. Some eggs don't though, so it's rather difficult to tell if the egg is fertile or not.

So how does that strange device tell the difference within the egg?

"Aviva, are you getting this?" asked Chris, he was looking at his strange device.

"Loud and clear guys," said a female voice, it seemed to come out of that strange looking item.

"But I doubt I will be making a creature power suit for Majestic, heck I don't know what it's actually called. Koki, what do you see in your database?"

"Nothing, zilch, nada." said another female voice.

"It's a creature never recorded, the X-Ray you guys sent shows no fossil records in our time."

Chris suddenly looked very happy, seeming surprised.

"So it's a never before seen creature, a new-I mean old species. I got to take some pictures of it."

"Wait Chris!" said a male voice from that strange item.

"Don't forget the golden egg, man!"

"Why Jimmy?" Chris asked curiously.

"As a souvenir you guys got from that awesome bird." the boy known as Jimmy replied.

"Who knows, maybe its egg shells can be used to make money for the Tortuga, and I could make a large chocolate cake from that single egg."

"Did somebody say chocolate?" Martin asked who'd return, sounds like he likes chocolate.

"Yeah, and in a way, Majestic did give us this egg, maybe as a gift or a peace offering." Chris said.

"But first, we best make sure if Majestic wants her egg or not."

"Right Chris." Martin replied with a smile, then he went to pick up the egg. But he grunted as he tried to lift the thing.

"Whoa, this egg is heavy!"

"Its shell is golden bro." Chris replied with a chuckle.

"But hold on, I'll help you out." He went and stood beside his brother and took hold of the egg, easing the burden with his brother.

"Now let's go bro!"

"Right bro!" replied Martin and the two brothers rushed off, carrying the egg with them as they went after the gargwa.

Once those two were gone, Jacob stood up from the bushes and backed away.

"Judging by their behaviour, I'd say they're, observers, scientists. Strange words they use though and the fact that they came to a completely dangerous land with no form of protection. And that strange device, it's not like any equipment I've seen before. Hope nothing bad will happen to them." the hunter thought aloud. He then turned his direction and left the area, back on the trail. It didn't last long but eventually Jacob arrived at what looks like a large clear grassy area with a wall cliff covered in vines to climb up, the grassy area leads up to the snowy mountains; there was no path up there, but it's a good jumping area.

Then he saw it, the seregios he was hunting, it was taking a sip at a watering hole.

"There you are, you bird-looking bastard." He mused before emerging from the bushes and took out his nergigante greatsword.

The seregios noticed the approaching hunter before it turned its entire body towards the human before letting out a ferocious roar, its scales rattling.

Jacob lets out a battle cry and charges at the flying wyvern who in turn charged at him with its talons out, ready to tear. Jacob leaps at the beast and swings his mighty blade.

The Wild Kratts' base, the Tortuga, was currently parked on a large, flat, grassy area. The Tortuga is designed to look like a giant turtle, it is very and its main color is teal-aqua. Like real turtles, it has a very detailed shell. Its legs are in place, and its head had opened to reveal a ramp stairway that leads into it, like an open mouth.

As for where it was parked, close by to it is a place called, "Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre". Their moveable base was currently in Morden, within Manitoba, which is in Canada.

And currently right now, outside of the Tortuga lies what looks like an archway, a mechanical circle with pillars on either side of it to stay standing. It was also teal-aqua in color, and had a ramp leading up into it. Currently the device was offline.

Considering today was a nice, bright sunny day, they had decided to do a special, important project. Two girls and a guy were currently inside the Tortuga, the girls were watching the large computer screen, while the guy was relaxing on a lawn chair, likely to keep a watch on the portal device. Resting on the fold-out table beside his chair looks like a joystick, which he carries around with him for most things.

The guy is about five feet and ten inches tall, Caucasian, and he is a red-head with a blue-green baseball cap worn backwards. He is wearing a grey t-shirt with a video game character on it, a white long sleeved shirt under the grey t-shirt, red plaid shorts, and white tennis shoes. He has some facial hair on his chin and some freckles, and his eyes are light blue. His name is Jimmy Z.

The two girls inside the Tortuga are Aviva and Koki. They both stood about the same height of five feet and eight inches tall.

Aviva is a Latina girl with bushy brown hair that is tied back in a ponytail, and her eyes are a dark shade of gray. She is wearing a yellow jacket with a blue stripe running down both of the sleeves. A black belt with a bolt on it is worn crookedly around her waist. She also wears blue jeans and white converse shoes.

And Koki is an African American. She is a brunette that wears a red, short sleeved shirt with a white star on it, yellow pants, and red shoes, each with two green stripes coming down from the laces to the sole. She wears a yellow headband on her head, and one pearl earring and two hoop earrings on each of her ears. She also has some freckles.

And currently on their large computer screen, was showing what looks like a forest area, with the Kratt Brothers running along a path, they working together carrying the golden egg. And they were following the path where Majestic took.

After making the comment of the idea of making a large chocolate cake out of the big golden egg, Jimmy Z had gone out to wait to activate the portal device.

"It's bizarre." Koki said, sounding confused.

"What is?" asked Aviva as she looked to her friend.

"That bird, there are no fossil records of its period." Koki replied, pressing a few buttons on the keyboard. On the viewing screen, what they're seeing of the Kratt brothers had shortened down so to show a camera picture of Majestic, the large, turkey-like chicken, and an X-Ray picture, showing its skeleton.

"I did a quick background check, there is still nothing coming up telling us what that bird actually is. Nothing and I even sent some messages to archaeologists, to see if they know if there are any fossils that resemble the bird."

"Well maybe there are no fossils of it dug up yet," Aviva suggested.

"I'm still not sure." Koki said as she crossed her arms.

"Sure it was awesome that you had completed your project 'Time-Gate', and had sent the brothers to the time of the dinosaurs so to do actual research on the ancient giants and how they live. But the place they're in, it's so strange. It gives me the feeling of wild forests and jungles, but it also holds something like a mysterious aura. I don't know what it is but I feel something's off, like there's something… evil in that forest."

"Well we don't really exactly know what the usual life was for the dinosaurs back then, mostly just theories. But even so, thanks for the compliment by the way, but I'm quite confident that very soon, the Kratt Brothers will find some dinosaurs and we'll get some images. Then we'll know the correct time period they're in."

"Yeah, but that still doesn't stop that feeling."

Koki returned to the viewing screen to view the Kratt Brothers. Koki's gut feeling about the place the Kratt Brothers were in puts her on edge, whatever it is, she didn't trust the place.

The Kratt brothers suddenly yelled in surprise as they seemed to slip and fall down a slippery hill. They had dropped the egg; it shattered upon the ground, revealing it was infertile.

"Chris! Martin!" The girls yelled as the two brothers finished their slide down the hill into a large area with streams of water.

"You guys alright?"

"We're fine Aviva," Chris replied as he got up, while holding the Creature Pod in his hand so he could still talk to the girls.

"Yeah, but the golden egg is broken," Martin moaned as he got up, looking depressed.

"Now Majestic won't get her egg back."

"Martin, the egg was infertile, the scan showed it was." Aviva stated.

"Wait a second Martin, look over there!" Chris said quietly as he pointed with his right hand.

Switching area views to the Kratt Brothers, Chris was pointing his right hand towards what looks like the flocks of the giant chickens. Martin gasped as he smiled; he lifted his creature pod device so the others could see the creatures from the little screen.

"There are more Majestics here!" Martin said in excitement.

"Yeah, it's a whole flock of them." Chris added, using his creature pod to take a few pictures of the bird creatures.

As the brothers walked over to the big birds, the birds seemed to not care as they walked near but some of them were watching and the brothers were observing them, learning what they saw.

"They're omnivores," Chris concluded after he saw some of them eating insects, fish and vegetation, even fruits too.

"And boy do they eat a lot, likely because of the size of their bellies." Martin said as he was standing close to one. Then he turned and recognized one of them.

"Hey, there's Majestic! Hey girl, thought we nearly lost you."

He walked over to the giant chicken he recognized, the creature was currently eating what looks like weird looking bugs. Martin knelt down to get a closer look at the bugs.

"Huh, these look weird, not any normal bugs I had ever seen."

"Bro, we're not in our rightful time period, these bugs could be the ancestors of the bugs we know of." Chris said as he walked over, but before he could see what the bug looked like, Majestic ate one more before the bugs burrowed into the ground.

"Darn! I didn't get a –"

Then they heard it: the roar. The loud, ferocious roar that echoed through the forest. The giant chickens turn to where the roar came from before fleeing the opposite direction.

"Whoa, what was that?" Martin asked.

"I don't know, but we should go check it out." Chris replied before they both started to run off together, leaving their current area.

"Uh guys, you're really running to where the loud roar came from?" Aviva asked through the creature pod, sounding confused.

"Yeah, what if it's a carnivore looking for prey?" Koki added, trying to get the message into their heads.

"Nah, that wasn't a hunting roar," Chris said as he and his brother were running along the path together, heading through the dense forest.

"Yeah, it sounded like a challenge or a battle-cry, there must be two large predators duking it out." Martin added.

"And don't worry Aviva, Koki, we'll be careful."

"Hope so, we still don't know if the teleporter will work with the Time-Gate." Aviva stated worriedly.

"It could be impossible to send you guys your Creature Power suits."

"Don't worry Aviva." Chris said as they both continued to run.

"If things get hairy, we'll get our side of the Time-Gate active and jump through."

"And it's currently inside my pocket, compacted down into a small size like all the other great inventions of yours, Aviva." Martin complimented with a smile.

They kept on running, but as they neared, they heard the sounds of a battle going on. There were sounds of growling and slamming impacts, along with sounds of blades clashing and growling. The sounds of blades had confused the brothers, and far ahead, there was a sighting of what looked like blinding flashes.

"Whoa! Maybe the creature has some kind of ability to blind their foes with flashes of light!" Martin suggested as they continued their run together.

"It would make things easy for the predator to catch their prey, but it would also make an awesome defence mechanism for the prey to blind the predators!" Chris said, smiling.

"Oh I can't wait what kind of creature this one would be!"

Soon the brothers had arrived, but they didn't enter the area, they hid behind bushes so they could see. And what they saw both amazed and shocked them.

"Chris, are you seeing what I'm seeing?" asked Martin, gawking a bit.

"What do you guys see?" The girls asked on the creature pod.

"A giant bird-like reptile!" Chris replied quietly, amazed by the sight of it. He lifted the device in his right hand and showed the girls on the small screen of what was happening.

"And it's fighting a bipedal creature too!"

What they're seeing first was the reptilian bird, it was covered in lustrous gold scales, its face features red markings around the eyes which continue along its body, its head being topped with a single backwards-curving horn. Its feet are zygodactyl in nature, with two toes facing forward and two toes facing backward.

"Lets scan this creature." Chris said before initiating a scan. Once scanned, Chris sent it to Aviva and Koki.

"DUCK!" Martin yelped, pushing the green clothed brother down when the bird creature's scales were suddenly sent flying at them. The brothers looked up and were amazed by the sight.

"No way, super sharp scales. It must be used for hunting prey by the flying reptile." Chris exclaimed as he examined a scale which got stuck in a tree.

"What an awesome creature power." Martin said before looking down at the creature pod.

"Aviva…"

"I got the scan you gave me and I'm already working on a creature power suit and I'll make sure to add the sharp scales."

Chris lifted the creature pod back to the two fighting creatures. the bipedal being stood about the same height of a human, and covered in what looks like spiky black reptile-like armour with orange highlights, and carrying what looks like a battle-axe in its… hands?

"A Neanderthal." Martin muttered in amazement.

"Must be." Chris said with a smile.

"This is perfect; we now get to see the ancestors of our kind do battle with what looks like a giant reptilian bird of prey."

Chris used the creature pod to take a few pictures.

"Yeah, hunter versus hunter." Martin cheered, smiling as well as they watched. The giant reptilian bird uses its mighty wings to take to the air with its talons ready and dives in feet first but the Neanderthal dodges the attack. The giant reptile bird immediately took to the air again in a blink of an eye and swung its tail at its opponent and sent more of those blade-like scales.

"Whoah, such speed and agility, especially for a creature of that size. No doubt it's an aerial hunter. The ancient ancestor of the peregrine falcon, maybe?" Chris mused as he kept his creature pod up. The armoured Neanderthal dodges the deadly scales before the giant bird-like reptile dives down to the earth with its talons ready again but the Neanderthal dodges the attack and swung its axe at its leg, causing it to shriek in pain before it jerks back.

"The Neanderthal is using tools, and armour? Huh?"

The giant bird tries to skewer the Neanderthal with its curved horn but the armoured being blocked it with its axe.

"Are our ancestors really smart back then?" Chris asked, sounding surprised.

"For some reason, he reminds me of both a knight and a ancient warrior…"

Martin blinked in confusion, turned to the creature pod.

"Aviva, you sure we're in some kind of dinosaur period?"

"Positive!" Aviva replied, looking very confused.

"I just don't get it! How can that ancient being be so smart to make wicked looking armour and weaponry?"

"Uh guys," Koki said, getting their attention.

"I did an X-Ray scan on him; the armoured Neanderthal isn't a Neanderthal."

The Kratts' eyes widened in shock before they looked at the screen.

"What do you mean, Koki?"

"I had to do multiple scanning checks." Koki stated, she sent the images to the brothers so they could see.

"First off, the armour he's wearing is reptilian in nature, which at first I thought he could be some kind of lizard man. But after doing more scans, well, just look at this."

Once the image was shown, both brothers and Aviva gasped in shock.

"It's human." Martin uttered quietly.

What they saw on the computer screen was an X-Ray image of a human skeleton within the armour. Many of their current theories were blown out of their minds, but now there was a new question, how is there a human in this timeline?

Aviva then had a thought.

"What if I'm not the only one who invented a time machine? And this human is actually a poacher or a hunter, hunting ancient creatures from way back then?"

"Well whoever he is, we need to protect that bird, and to do so, we need to stop that hunter." Chris declared as both brothers started to look serious.

"Right." Martin said, turning to the creature pod.

"Now's the time to test the teleporter to see if it can send our power suits through time, guys."

"Right!" Aviva agreed. she called for Jimmy, who ran back into the Tortuga and went over to the teleporter controls. To their side, Aviva throws in the green and blue power suit vest and gloves into the teleporter.

"Sending them your way, Kratt bros," Jimmy informed as he pressed the button of his controller's joystick.

To the Kratt brothers, suddenly with a quick flash (Luckily the current fighters didn't see it), their power suits appeared. They both cheered as they put them on.

"It worked!" Martin said excitedly; they looked to their creature pod that now part of their gloves.

"Great, now what kind of creature power discs should you guys use?" Koki asked before her eyes widened.

"Wait, what about the creatures themselves, I doubt there are any modern creatures existing in that time."

"Don't you worry Koki, we just need to send one of our collected samples that they can use." Aviva replied, smiling. She looked at the Kratt brothers from their view screen.

"So what will it be?"

"We don't need to battle, we just need to distract that poacher." Chris replied.

"Yeah, just long enough for the big snake to escape." Martin explained.

"And good endurance to keep that bad guy occupied." Chris added.

Martin smirked to his brother.

"You know what I'm thinking, Chris?"

"I think so, Martin."

"Send the Wolf Power Discs." They both said in unison.

Within moments, their teammates had teleported the power disks to the Kratt Brothers and a small packet with wolf fur as well as a fly cam so that the others could see better without Chris' creature pod. With that, they deployed the fly cam, put the discs into their torsos and touched the fur in the packet.

"Activate wolf powers!"

Within moments, their bodies glowed brightly.

Jacob dodges the next tail swipe attack from the seregios, then goes to slash the tail with his greatsword. He quickly did a few more strikes till the beast was knocked back. The seregios roared in anger and pain before Jacob slashed his sword across its face, causing it to jerk back with a snarl.

"God, this thing won't die." Jacob said to himself before the seregios suddenly did its diving talon strike but he quickly blocks with his sword. Once they got some distance between them, Jacob looked up to its direction and got his sword at the ready.

"Ok Mr seregios, you may be a dangerous fast moving apex predator but I'm not leaving 'till I'm taking you down, no matter what!"

The seregios hissed viciously at the hunter, both keeping their gaze upon each other as they circled each other.

'With all this open space, the seregios has the air advantages. I need to get this thing somewhere small so that its agility wouldn't help it but big enough for me to move around and not get cornered.'

Quickly sheathing the sword upon his back, at that same moment, he had to leap out of the way from the seregios' swift diving talon strike. He managed to dodge the sharp talons while focusing on getting out of his inventory pocket.

Checking quickly he has the desired item, he pulls out a dung pod, then he throws it outward. It flew toward the blade-scaled wyvern.

SPLAT!

His eyes widened as something just leaped between him and the seregios, someone in strange garb had fallen on its back. A man in blue garb, looked like he was wearing a furry blue suit, a black vest with a felyne paw on the chest, where the paintball had splattered upon. The man even had a tail, and animal-like ears.

"Whoa! What a throw, that was hard!" The man in blue garb exclaimed.

"Martin!" yelled a similar garbed man, but with green coloration. He was also wearing what looks like black vest with a felyne paw on the chest.

"Bro, you alright?" he asked, looking worried.

"Yeah I'm fine, but man what a throw, didn't see it coming." the one known as Martin, he accepted the furry gloved hand of the one known as Chris and he helped him.

Jacob recognized them instantly, as the two humans he spied on before, being so 'wowed' over a simple Gargwa.

Why are they interfering? Where did they get that strange garb? Are they that stupid to interrupt the battle between Jacob and the seregios that may lead to their gruesome and bloody demise? Why are they glaring at him?

Both of the strange humans stood before him, they glared at him, with slight smirks.

"Hold it right there, man. Back off, and leave this giant creature alone." Chris told the hunter.

"Yeah, I bet it was living peacefully, you shouldn't disturb its peaceful life." Martin said.

"Now stop, go back and leave this poor creature be, living free and in the wild."

All they said mostly confused the hunter, are they actually trying to defend a seregios, an extremely dangerous and territorial monster?

He looked behind the two, towards the seregios. The beast just stood there as it tilted its head; it was just as confused as he was. Then he noticed it, the sadistic grin that formed on its face, its eyes filled with twisted glee as it silently rattled its tail; it's going for what all the monsters go for.

The kill.

With the blink of an eye, Jacob threw himself at Chris and Martin, knocking them down and catching them off guard, as the sharp scales flew over their intended targets. As Jacob got up and charged at the beast, Chris and Martin sat up, looking towards the scales that almost took their lives, flabbergasted.

"Bros! Are you OK?!" Aviva asked from Chris' creature pod.

"Yeah, we're OK but that hunter just saved our lives." Martin replied.

"The creature must've been scared and threw its sharp scales at us in self defence." Chris theorised before Koki spoke up.

"Guys, I don't think it did that in self defence."

The bros looked confused.

"What do you mean?"

"Look at this picture the fly cam caught just before the creature attacked you."

Koki sent the picture to reveal the head of the creature but the bros' eyes widened of what they saw in the picture. Its expression wasn't of fear or terror as the bros thought, they saw the seregios had a grin. They saw familiar ones from Zach Varmitech, Donita Donata, Gourmand and Paisley Paver but this one, this grin the creature had was a sadistic one; it didn't try to kill the Kratt bros out of self defence…

It tried to kill them for pleasure. For pure, sick, twisted, pleasure.

They looked towards the hunter in disbelief as said hunter battled the beast. He didn't have the same vibe as the villains the Kratt bros faced.

The seregios swipes its tail at the hunter, landing a successful hit and sending hurtling towards a tree. The wyvern turns its attention to the Kratt brothers, with the same sadistic grin it had in the picture.

"Bro, move. Move! MOVE!" Chris yelled as the two got up and booked it, their wolf powers giving them a boost but the seregios took to the air and began pursuit. The bros ran as fast as they could until they came across another area, a large area with stone walls surrounding them.

"We're trapped!" Martin cried before the seregios landed behind them. The two turn their attention to the beast that slowly approaches them, like a predator stalking its prey. The seregios roars before taking to the air and dived at the two, its talons ready to tear into their flesh. Meanwhile in the Tortuga, Aviva, Koki and Jimmy watched in horror.

"NO!" They all cried in unison before cyan blue appeared in slow motion with the Kratt bros before Jacob came in and kicked the thousand blade wyvern in the face, sending it off course as it shrieked in panic and pain before crashing into the stone wall, creating a cloud of dust. The bros turned to the hunter.

"I don't know who the fuck you guys are but go! I'll keep the seregios busy while you escape!" The hunter shouted to the two. Before the Kratt bros replied, Koki suddenly spoke from Chris' creature pod.

"Bros! The current temperature of your location is suddenly decreasing rapidly! It's more colder than Antarctica!"

"What?" the two brothers exclaimed in unison before a snow storm appeared. Jacob and the two brothers looked down to the ground to see ice forming below their feet. Jacob knew what this meant.

"We need to leave." Jacob told the two bros who turned to the hunter.

"Why?" Martin asked as he shielded his eyes from the snow of the sudden weather change.

"Because I know what's coming. We need to leave before IT arrives."

"Who's it?" Chris demanded before the seregios recovers from the crash and roars at the trio of humans before it suddenly looks upward. The trio turned their heads to where the seregios was looking at and saw a misshapen figure in the snow storm.

"The lord of the tundra…" Jacob answered before the figure roared and the snow storm disappeared. The two bros widened and their jaws dropped in utter shock and disbelief. The figure is revealed to be a large reptile with a slim, upright body structure, its scales and shell are a unique crystalline blue. Its head has a tiara-like crown of small horns and has a lance-like tail. Its wings, limbs and tail were covered in armour made of ice.

"The elder dragon velkhana, the iceborne wyvern."
