This is set shortly before Leyenar's return to the MCU in "Avenge Us", therefore she will have her old surname instead of "De Vil".
Also, this is labeled as a Voltron/P&F crossover but will feature characters from other fandoms.
Leyenarville Outer Rim, March 2018
Leyenar Oh, Mistress of Leyenarville, film director handpicked by the One Above All to direct all forthcoming Avengers movies, the 4D High Council's favored, and accomplished Sith Lord, stood in front of a raised platform that held a body of an animated Galran, surrounded by last offerings. "Today, we are gathered here to lay to rest a dear friend. Farewell, Zarkon, Agent Z, Evil Emperor™, noble warrior, and the greatest spy the Four-Dimensional World has ever known. He met his demise a few days ago, when his son Prince Lotor decided to kill him."
"Despite being a bad guy, he was a bonafide good guy." said Carol Danvers. "It wasn't his fault he committed all those awful things, he was just written that way."
"I still can't believe he was cre-ay-teed by the same stoodio that brought me to being." sniffled Megamind. "They should have given him a chance for reed-empt-ion, just like they did me."
Aloyse Everheart Elizabeth Otto Wolfgang Hypatia Gunther Galen Gary Cooper "Rodney" Von Roddenstein, leader of the League of Villainous Evildoers Maniacally United for Frightening Investments in Naughtiness or just Love Muffin for short, began sobbing his eyes out. "Where am I gonna find another nemesis again?" he cried.
"That's the problem," said Carol, "you can't. Zarkon was the OWCA's greatest asset, and out of all the evil scientists Danville had to offer, you were the only one who actually stood a chance against him."
"Cheer up, Mr. Roddenstein." said Minion, Megamind's partner as he put an arm around Rodney.
Just then, the doors to the funeral ship's main chamber opened and a human woman stepped in, escorted by Major Monogram and Roxanne Ritchi. "Well, look who finally decided to show up!" said Megamind. "Not you, Roxie, and especially not you, Francis, but you. Is that any way for a life-partner to behave?"
"Sorry, Mr. Megamind." the woman sniffled. "As you can see, I'm a real person, just like Mistress Leyenar over here. I had...things to do in the outside world."
"C'mon, Meg," said Roxanne, "Miss Lane came a long way, please understand her. There's no doubt that Zarkon and she were like you and I."
"F-ine." said the blue alien.
"Look, Ashley, I'm truly sorry." said Leyenar as she guided the woman into the circle of mourning. "First, the love of your life turned out to be already married, then he died. It certainly hit hard for me, but I simply cannot imagine how hard it was for you."
"It's OK." Ashley sobbed. "At least he didn't recognize his wife, and he did love me. He told me that whatever happened in his past, I would always be his one true queen. I...I can't believe he's gone. He was so good to me."
Leyenar gave Ashley a hug, and Major Monogram handed her Zarkon's purple 1940s fedora. "You will be missed." said Leyenar as she placed the fedora on her late friend's folded hands, and soon, the platform holding his body was ejected into the cremation chamber. Outside, a plethora of starships gathered—Galra ships occupied by Zarkon loyalists, Intergalactic Security Vessels that caught wind of that one time Zarkon and Meap teamed up, and even one occupied by Phineas Flynn, Ferb Fletcher, and their friends.
"Leyenar?" Ashley asked. "Can I sing my song now?"
"You can." said Leyenar.
Ashley stepped onto the raised dais at the main chamber, in front of the microphone, as the funeral fireworks began, and began singing.
Summer days, they melt beneath my feet,
Secret ways are felt inside of me,
There's only one I can't deny,
He's my very special spy,
When the world begins to fall,
He'll be there to here me call...
Zarkon, you are my secret agent,
Save me, I'm in a situation,
Cause you're just out of time,
I need you right by my side,
Can't live in fear anymore,
Need you to settle the score,
Zarkon, you are my secret agent.
Summer haze, I feel like I can't see,
Stranger things are closing in on me,
There's only one place I can hide,
From the fear I keep inside,
When you come to rescue me,
I feel complete...
Zarkon, you are my secret agent,
Save me, I'm in a situation,
'Cause you're just out of time,
I need you right by my side,
Can't live in fear anymore,
Need you to settle the score,
Zarkon, you are my secret agent.
Zarkon...
There'll be days when I say, this'll never end,
I'll be fine, you'll be mine til the very end,
Cloak and Dagger, day turns into night,
Undercover, you're my guiding light...
Zarkon, you are my secret agent,
Save me, I'm in a situation,
'Cause you're just out of time,
I need you right by my side,
Can't live in fear anymore,
Need you to settle the score,
Zarkon, you are my secret agent.
Zarkon, you are my secret agent.
One Week Later
Ashley Lane was watching Wreck-It Ralph at her suburban home in the outside world, when suddenly, the doorbell rang. She ran to answer the door, and there stood a familiar toon with a distinctive mustache, dressed in a green uniform. "Major Monogram?" she asked. "What are you doing here?"
"Miss Lane, I...I just wanted to say, as the supreme ruler of a galactic superpower, Agent Z had a lot of fortune and he left 60% of it to you." said the major. "7.4 billion GAC, (Galra Authorized Currency) converted to 740 billion dollars. I'm just here to ask, an easygoing woman such as yourself would have no need for such a large sum of money, what do you plan to do with it?"
Ashley seemed to think for a moment, swallowed thickly, and declared "I'm gonna start a support group for fictional villains in the Four-Dimensional World, so none of them ends up like my Zarkins."
"Good choice!" said Major Monogram. "I'll contact Director Oh, Miss Ritchi and Mr. Megamind right now."
And so he did.
Later, Leyenar, Megamind, Roxanne and Ashley were discussing plans about the new Bad Guys Anonymous:4D Edition. "Hey, I know a nice place where y'all can begin." said Leyenar. "It's called the Villain Pub. It seems like a great place to hold Bad-Anon meetings."
"Oh, I know that place!" said Megamind. "I've been there many times before I went good."
"A sanctuary where fictional villains, including evil protagonists, can support each other when they feel dissatisfied with being the bad guys..." said Roxanne. "Ashley, you're a genius!"
"At that moment, I thought an internet-wide Bad-Anon for all the villains in the fictional omniverse was the only way to honor Zarkon." said Ashley. "For starters, let's spread the word first. And for that, I need pop-ups."
"For that, you have my Brainbots." said Megamind.
The first thing Ashley did upon putting her plan into action was to use the majority of her inheritance from Zarkon to buy out the Villain Pub from Emperor Palpatine, its founder, and get rid of all the strict rules, such as "boss battles only" and "real villains only".
And for the following days, the halls of Fandom Central were filled with Brainbots that handed out messages to fictional villains, word that the late Emperor Zarkon's real person girlfriend was starting a support group for them with Leyenar Oh and Megamind, while the Villain Pub was being extended and remodeled to fit its new purpose.
After a lot of work and a lot of time, the great day arrived. The Bad-Anon banner, with the name and the slogan "One Story At A Time" hung proudly over the main bar. "Welcome, supervillains, to the first day of Bad-Anon!" Megamind proudly declared. "Here, we can do more than just mope about our losses. OK, who wants to speak first?"
"Greetings, everyone." said a Kree man in black armor. "My name's Ronan, and I'm a bad guy."
"Hello, Ronan." said everyone.
"Hello." said Ronan, and began his story. "OK, for starters, it all began in the nineties, when I was returning to Hala after getting my rear end kicked by the woman called Captain Marvel. My ship stopped by a remote pleasure planet for resupply..."
