Randy frowned as he saw a white late 1980's Ford Escort parked outside of his family's trailer. He'd just got off work at his job as a gas pumping jockey. He'd been employed there right after he dropped out of high school after turning 16 three earlier. The male squirrels twin sister started the local university back in the fall when she was only 15. So, he figured this vehicle was one of her schoolmates that he promised himself that he would not to pay attention too, as for the last year he'd been used and abused by females since mercilessly since hit puberty finally went into full swing.
The brown, and tan, furred squirrel walked into the trailer looking forward to be a dick and embaress his sister but quickly stopped his thoughts of causing an uproar as he looked over at the kitchen table where his sister, and some of her older college girlfriends, sat. "Sandy- "He pulled back his taunting tone into his throat after seeing his sister very well-developed friends sitting at the table with her. "I... mean... uh." Randy now laughed nervously feeling like a dumbass even though he swore he wouldn't be taken by a pretty face again. "Hi!" He finally spit out while already hating himself as he knew full well, he was giving off an overly eager grin as Sandy's new friends now started to smirk in his direction.
The two females at the table said hello, while obviously taking notice of the younger male's attraction to them. Sandy just rolled her eyes and stood up before grabbing her brother by the arm and dragging him into the small bedroom that they'd shared as long as they both could remember.
"Randy Please!" Sandy started to beg after slamming the door. "Our place is embarrassing enough, so really I don't need ya drooling all over my philosophy class teammates on top of dat!" The teenage prodigy pressed, while trying to hold it under her breath to no avail. "We agreed ta switch up our study space twice a week, so please..." Sandy now staggered her breath while looking down at the floor as her brother looked at her insulted. "Please just leave us alone." Sandy finally stood stiff and gripped her brother's shoulder tightly with a stern look on her face.
"She's really pretty." Randy interrupted. "Does Ma, and Pa, know they are here?" The male sibling now asked recalling how their parents would throw fits when he'd have friends over when they weren't around.
Sandy laughed as she now pushed her brother with full force down. "I'm sure most fella's think they both are, and I don't care ta know what one ya fancy more, but know... The likes of you ain't their type." Sandy loosened her stance up before now turning around, as she got enough of an approval out of her brother to roll with. "And fer yer information both Ma, and Pa, agreed to me having a study group over when they are out, so long as none are boys."
"Is she seeing anyone?!" Randy asked desperately before Sandy opened the door.
"They both are." Sandy admitted while casting a fast glance over her shoulder before giving way to a short-lived silence while feeling bad for her brother. "Please, Randy... don't!" Sandy begged with a heavy breath of pleading as her brother nodded his understand to her. The female squirrel then closed the door in her brothers face with less force than she'd shut it after their entry.
The male Cheeks twin didn't waste much time before heading back out of the bedroom and back into the small kitchen where the three females sat in an even smaller dinning area. He made his way to the fridge as the girls talked to one another about some assailment they were working on. He kept casting glancing over their way and then went into a full-on stare as he took some orange juice out of the fridge and then gave it a long swig right out of the carboard container.
"Would any of ya ladies like some?" Randy asked awkwardly as he now held out the OJ container in their direction as a bit of juice poured down his chin. He gave his best over confidant grin as all three females looked at him confused and with a bit of disgust.
"Sorry 'bout him." Sandy groaned as she looked back at her new friends. "He's a bit thick in da head."
Sandy's words got a giggle out of the two guest which at first caused Randy's mood to go sour but only for a moment. The dread of rejection quickly left him only to be replaced as his heart nearly uplifting him off the ground after seeing both females giving him an amused glance. Sure, they were laughing at him, but they were still finding him entertaining. He had a chance... at least that's what he was telling himself.
"Sandy..." The lightly tanned skin, and white furred, busty bat spoke as if it was a question. "Aren't you going to introduce us to your little brother?" The black winged female bat asked while giving Randy a sly grin, but her words of "little brother" ate at him causing him to barely be able to hold onto his cocky smile.
"We're twins!" Randy blurted out desperately. Obviously, he didn't understand that him still being only 16 was still far too young for the two older college girls now seated at the Cheeks kitchen.
Both guests looked at one another and then back in his direction a little surprised. That act along caused his skin to turn red, so much so, that it showed through the tan fur on his cheeks. "Sorry, love." The blue furred, perfectly shaped feline female, blurted out after a small laugh. Her slightly bluer lips drew Randy in like no other female had before as she tussled her short, slightly darker short blue hair on her head. "It's nice to meet you." She let out contently while giving off her light taunting smile, and both that and her British accent melted his heart. "I'm Mei, and this troublemaker seated next to me is Rouge."
Randy nodded his understanding as his heat started to beat faster at the slightly older female cat's response to him. Sure, the bat was dressed far more scandalous, but since he walked in the house his mind never left the thought of her... "Mei." He didn't know the first thing about her. He only knew that now he wanted to get to know everything about her. It was his undoing time and time again... just seeing a girl and being into her only to find out about who she really was later. And her finding out about him.
His eyes where his worst enemy as a young man. Looks drew him in and so far, most of the time... it left him broken. He cared far too much about looks he knew, but still... as a young man, he couldn't give up that breath taking shock that drew him in. Of course, he wanted more. Love. Marriage. Children. Understanding one another... but he was only 16, and at this point in his life looks were the main hook and everything else came in a far second. At least for the first few days. And that's why he'd been pushed away by all the females he'd dated. The heart break, and even with those that just used him for money and never gave him any real positive attention other than a thank you and hug after handing over some cash. Never to hear from them again until they needed something else and then they'd be off again. However, even many of the girls he "dated" had the same mode of operation, but here he was again... unable to say no to that jolt of excitement and the hope that this time things might be different. Things might work out.
"Hi Mei!" Randy spoked out thrilled, while not even seeming to noticing he was completely ignoring the other guest in the house that he'd just been introduced to. "What are y'all studying?" He asked in an effort to find out more about her even though he knew full well he was wading into a mine field as he'd just dropped out of high school, and was far from being able to even pass his GED test let alone understand anything from a class that his sister was enrolled in. Randy took a few steps forward after throwing the OJ box back in the fridge and closing it. "Anything fun?" He grinned happily as his sister, Sandy, placed her hands over her face embarrassed.
"Philosophy." Sandy butted in obviously not happy about her brother's interruption. Especially considering she'd already begged him to back off.
"OH!" Randy let out happily as he took the lone empty seat between Mei, and his sister, as he peered over the table at the young women's open textbooks. "Like Playdoh?" The male asked getting the two older female to burst out in laugher. He just grinned happily at the girls as he couldn't help but enjoy them getting a kick out of what he said. Even if he wasn't sure what they found so funny.
"It's Plato." Sandy corrected. "And no. Plato, and Socrates are high school stuff. We're discussing Nietzsche, and Kierkegaard." She explained despite the fact she didn't expect him to understand.
"Ah." Randy now seemed to muse for a moment as he pulled back into his chair so he was no longer hovering over Mei's book. "Dat's da God is dead guy, right?" Randy asked seemingly not too sure.
"Yeah." Sandy let out a surprised laugh as she looked at her brother a bit impressed.
"Don't worry!" Randy let out as he stood up while taking in a deep breath so he could puff his chest out proudly. "I won't tell Ma you and yer friends are taking a devil worshiping class." Randy now laughed uncontrollably as his sister pointed for him to leave, which he finally submitted to. He didn't go far though as he noticed both her friends enjoy his last little joke. The male squirrel of just over 16 took a seat on the steps of their small trailer's front porch. He had already settled on hanging around until he was able to bid goodnight to his sister's guest, and hopefully do so well enough that the next time he ran across Mei he'd be able to convincer her to spend some more time with him. Alone.
