Fic Summary:

This is a sort of catch-all series of individual scenes, snippets, drabbles, and other similar mini-writing projects which I have done in response to various prompts, mostly on the LU discord server. Topics covered, characters used, quality of writing, and chapter length will absolutely vary from chapter to chapter, and outside of each scene, none of this is linear.

Lyrics in this snippet are from the song "Defying Gravity" in the play "Wicked"

Entry 1: Defying Gravity

Prompt: There Is A Song Stuck In Your Head

Wild jumped off the side of the cliff, using a couple of bombs to blast himself into the air.

From down below, Wind cheered him on while Legend rolled his eyes and Twilight stared in surprised worry, hoping Wild actually knew what he was doing and wasn't just winging it right now.

...heh. winging it.

Moments later, Wars was startled in the middle of sharpening his weapons as he heard a faint voice that seemed to be coming from the sky.

The voice was...singing?

He paused for a moment, cocking his head to the side.

Yep. Definitely singing.

He went back to his work, but kept an ear out for the voice. Another moment more, and he began to make out the words, slowly growing louder and clearer by the second.

"It's time to try defying gravity!"

Well. That certainly seemed appropriate for a mysterious voice from the sky.

"I think I'll try defying gravity!"

Hmm. This voice sounded kind of familiar. Also, it was starting to draw fairly close...Maybe Wars would be able to see who it was, soon? He hummed along to himself as he worked, following the tune that the person was using.

...What? It was catchy, so sue him!

"Kiss me goodbye I'm defying gravity-"

Wait...Was that-

"And you won't bring me dow-AACK!"

Suddenly, Wars found himself bowled over by a scrawny kid of a Hero who really shouldn't have been able to fly upwards that high, considering the topography of the region, but- heck, who was Wars to say what was and wasn't possible when it came to Wild?
