Fic Summary:
This is a sort of catch-all series of individual scenes, snippets, drabbles, and other similar mini-writing projects which I have done in response to various prompts, mostly on the LU discord server. Topics covered, characters used, quality of writing, and chapter length will absolutely vary from chapter to chapter, and outside of each scene, none of this is linear.
Entry 2: Poem about Link and Navi
Prompt: Shake It Up
The purpose of the prompt that week was for people to go outside of their normal writing style, or to choose a character they didn't usually write for, or a genre they weren't as familiar with. I decided to do a poem about Link (aka Time in LU) and Navi, and came up with my own type of poem while I was at it (although I'm sure this is already its own poetry style with its own name and everything. Let me know if that's the case, hehe)
Linebreaks are to make it easier to identify when one verse ends and another begins.
Link
sits on
a lonely
tree branch as he
listens for fairies
drawing near his hideout.
His
tiny
fairy named
Navi has left
and he wishes to
know what happened to her.
But...
Sadly,
there's no trace
of where she's gone,
and his hopes slowly
dwindle away to naught.
Yet
still, as
time goes by
he keeps the hope
tucked close to his heart
that one day she'll show up.

places
a small bowl
filled with water
and sugar, to draw
fairies close to his home
And
he sits
as he waits
in the hope that
his fairy will be
with those gathered 'round him.
