Fic Summary:

This is a sort of catch-all series of individual scenes, snippets, drabbles, and other similar mini-writing projects which I have done in response to various prompts, mostly on the LU discord server. Topics covered, characters used, quality of writing, and chapter length will absolutely vary from chapter to chapter, and outside of each scene, none of this is linear.

Entry 3: Wars Can Duplicate Stuff Too! Wait, What?!

Prompt: Warriors Week

Inspired By: Watching Part Of A Hyrule Warriors Playthrough And Noticing How Ridiculous Some Of The Game Mechanics Are

Something that soon became apparent, once the Heroes first knew each other long enough to notice these sorts of things, was that different Heroes had a wide variety of magical abilities spread out between them.

These differences showed up in big ways for some (such as Four's stronger ability with elemental magic) and small ways for others (like Time's affinity with fairies). However, the truly strange occurrences were the times when someone had a magical ability that was just plain out-of-the-ordinary, especially when it came from an unlikely source.

Like the captain, for instance.

One day, a few weeks after they first began travelling together, the Heroes noticed that they were beginning to run low on rupees. So, they went to go find some pots to break.

Now, the Minish always made sure to hide their useful things with special magic seals so that their gifts wouldn't be taken advantage of by monsters or thieves. In order to extract the things that the Minish liked to hide, the pot had to be broken, but it must be broken only by a person in need-or a Hero.

However, even with this storage system, the pots usually still only stored one or two items at a time.

"What kind of magic was that?" Four asked Warriors, watching him straighten after his sudden spin attack. "I've never seen any number of pots give out that many rupees at once, and here you just brought out at least thirty rupees from a single pot!"

Warriors scratched the back of his neck sheepishly. "It's a sort of... specialized duplication magic, I guess. Pretty rare for a person to be able to do it, but... It's not all that special, compared to some of the other magical abilities out there. More of a party trick really."

All the Links stared at him in disbelief.

"Alright, that settles it," muttered Legend. He stepped up to Warriors and poked a finger in his chest. "You're the one breaking all the pots from now on, you got that?"
