Disclaimer: I do not own the works any of these snippets are based off of.
This is a sort of catch-all series of individual scenes, snippets, drabbles, and other similar mini-writing projects which I have done in response to various prompts, mostly on the LU discord server. Topics covered, characters used, quality of writing, and chapter length will absolutely vary from chapter to chapter, and outside of each scene, none of this is linear.
Entry 9: Tinkerbell, Tinkerbell, Tinker all the way!
Prompt: Faeries!
In which Hyrule gets into a bit of a situation...
I have very little inspiration to take this further, but I think this could potentially be a really fun basis for a crossover story!
"Smee! Intruder! Catch it!"
"Right away, Cap'n!"
Hyrule yelped as a net came down over his head. A large- yet surprisingly squishy- hand closed over the other end so that he couldn't even *think* of escaping, and he found himself abruptly shoved inside a large glass lantern. A tall, dark-haired man with an odd mustache sneered at him from the side of the enclosure.
"There! Now you won't be going off and telling your friends where their little fairy girl is, will you! Smee! Watch and make sure the fairies don't start trying to work together. I'll be outside...watching for Peter, heh heh heh." The dark-haired man walked out of the cramped captain's cabin, laughing to himself as he went.
Suddenly, Hyrule's interest in the ship he'd been exploring while looking for the rest of the Chain took a backseat to the immediate urgency of being caught and placed in a cage.
He stayed put at first, watching the strange, fat man who'd just *kidnapped* him, but once he'd made sure he wasn't about to be further manhandled, he closed his eyes for a moment to gather his wits about him, then opened them...only to let out a squeaky chime in surprise.
He wasn't the only fairy in here.
Standing across from him, arms crossed and lips pursed into an angry pout, was a young fairy with blonde hair in a green dress.
*Weird,* Hyrule thought to himself. *Most people only put one fairy into a bottle at a time, to prevent accidentally using both the fairies' magic at once.* He peered over at the girl. *Are we being captured for some other reason?*
*Well...I won't get any answers by keeping to myself.*
"Hey!" He called over to the girl. "Where are we?"
She sniffed at him and turned on her heel. "If you don't even know where you are, then why should I tell you anything?" she chimed.
Hyrule blinked. *Well. That's not the sort of reaction I was expecting.*
