Making a Kit and a Clank.

Part 1

Despite how stinkerly smelly the swamps beyond it had been, Nova found herself thinking how much more fun it would be sneaking into the megacorp factoryplex through that swamp. 'That wasn't the plan,' the US Ghost agent thought to herself, as she jumped off the side of the cargo shuttle, she'd hitched a ride on, landing fully clocked amongst the goons-4-less paid by Megacorp for security, not one of whom turned their heads. Without missing a beat, Nova broke into a silent sprint towards her first objective: the factoryplex's security command post.

Two armed/muscular goons guarded the command post's only door… neither of whom even heard Nova slip between them. 'Excuse me boys.' She thought, smiling. Once inside the post, Nova found that she had to watch out for the V.2.0 Megacorp Roboguard, who's optics could see right through her clock… but Nova was a professional Ghost agent, and knew just what to do, which in this case meant slipping unseen through the command post, sneaking up behind the Roboguard and planting a bomb charge on his back, before slipping back out of the post and detonating the charge… BOOM!

Less than seven minutes later, Nova was inside the factoryplex, closing on her second objective even as alarm blared all around from the blown-up Command post, drawing out the goons-4-less that would have been in her way. In almost no time at all Nova was arriving at her next objective; the manufacturers floor for all kind of battle-bots and warbots. It was here that Nova used her sniper rifle, shooting hacker rounds down from a catwalk into the controls for the two main assembly lines, before confidently slipping off towards her third and final objective… little knowing just what she'd just set in motion.

Slipping further into the facility Nova arrives at her ultimate objective: the central data hub of the factoryplex, and its secrets. Unfortunately for her, the Goon-4-Less in charge of security… one Mad Dog had encountered ghosts before… and had an idea what to do by then. Right as Nova was ready to leave, Mad Dog, along with his boys and twenty Roboguards rushed in, caught her and captured her.

However, even as Nova was locked up in a cell in the factoryplex… a small silver robot found his way out on a hover bike.

Part 2

After a full night of riding out of the swamps and up into the cliff lands above... the Robot finally found someone who wasn't a Goon-4-less… a furry yellow and ginger creature… but when the robot found him, the creature was sobbing, saying how he had been chased out of town by bullies who didn't know what he was and were afraid of him, and was now living out of a garage on his own. Taking pity on the furry creature… the robot said… "I may not know who you are… or even who I am yet… but maybe we can find out together."

Thanking the Robot for saying that, the furry creature took him back to his garage and thus a friendship was born. The Robot named the Furry creature Ratchet, and the Furry creature named the robot Clank.

But when the sun came up a small group of Goons-4-less rob mutts arrived, sent out from the megacorp factoryplex to find the missing hover bike. Upon finding it and Ratchet and Clank, the mutts attacked. in the ensuing scuffle, Ratchet used his wrench to protect Clank and scared off the mutts. Afterwards, Clank explains where he came from, the factoryplex… and how he remembers nothing about the place, or why he was even made.

Seeing how upset clank is at this, Ratchet reminds him that they could find out who they are together, and began repairing the hover bike to visit the factoryplex… and get some answers. Over most of the following day, Ratchet and Clank prepared for the trip, with Clank warning Ratchet that the Goons-4-less were dangerous, and advised him to learn how to fight… at least a little. But Ratchet did one better, he used his mechanical skills and created himself a blaster.

Good timing…. Just as the two friends were about to head out to find where clank was from… three very angry goon-4-less arrived… saying "we want our ride back… hand it over and you won't be joining our other prisoner."

Furious at the threat, Ratchet attacked, knocking out one Goon, and scaring another off… the third however begged not to be hit, and Ratchet, seeing himself in the Goon… let him go… if he would lead him and clank to the factoryplex… and tell them everything about the prisoner they'd mentioned.

Part 3

The Hover Bike ride down into and through the swamps was Ratchet's first time out of the cliff lands. But despite feeling a bit excited at being somewhere new… he knew he had to focus, this was important to Clank. When they at last reached the factoryplex, Ratchet and Clank make an attempt to sneak into it… but no dice. They are soon spotted by four Goons-4-less. After a brief gun and wrench fight, Ratchet and Clank barely escaped more angry Goons thanks to an unexpected friend… the Goon Ratchet had shown mercy to.

Using his own hover bike, the Goon, named blue rider had set off some of the factoryplex's sprinklers, distracting the other Goons and making them MAD. As a fight breaks out amongst the Goons on the upper floors. Ratchet and Clank slip into the lower ones, where they find a lot of malfunctioning warbots… and the imprisoned Nova whom they rescue at last. After a furious battle, against the malfunctioning warbots, Nova leads Ratchet and Clank through the lowest levels of the factoryplex in an effort to escape back into the swamps, on the way though, the three discovered some pieces of gear and tech; a suit of armour, thruster and magnetic boots, a hacking device code named Glitch, a storage chip congaing some strange stuff called Nano tech… all under the collective label of Lombax.

Seeing all of this, and a picture of a furry creature that looked just like him, Ratchet realised he must be a Lombax himself, and he grew frustrated, "why am I alone!?"

Clank stepped in and remined him what he's said before, "We can find out together."

Hearing all this, Nova decides to give Ratchet some true fighting training once they got out of the factoryplex, so he could stand more of a chance of surviving to find his answers. Using a computer panel, Clank finds his friends a way out… an experimental ship that the three of them could escape on… except, there being a hundred Goons-4-less in the way up to the hanger… Big problem.

But both ratchet and Nova were confident they could make it. And, after a fierce, furious and frantic fight up through the factoryplex… they made it, flying out from the now chaos filled place and into the stars, safe, sound and together.
