Sofia fell on her bed and wanted to scream on her pillow. She couldn't help her emotions from rushing through, but it wasn't like she was angry or sad or even happy
It's all because of that certain Sorcerer across the hall and his shenanigans that got her in this mess. He had been asking her for some advice for Valentine's Day and stuff
Of course, he had to ask her about the things a girl would want... which meant asking her what she wants as a girl. And of course, Sofia had to comply.
Somehow despite the false pretense, it felt like Cedric wanted to know about the things she liked. Even though it was false, Sofia still felt happy thinking about it
With this, Sofia found herself staring patiently at her door. Waiting and hoping that he would come and ask her out in this nice Valentine's Day Morning.
Hoping it was her he wanted all along, hoping he would finally open her eyes and realize she's been there who has loved him unconditionally more than any woman he'll ever meet
Sighing to herself, Sofia decided to get some fresh air and open the windows, and to her surprise, she saw the man himself picking some lilacs on the bouquet of flowers just by the garden. A smile forms on her lips, they were her favorite flowers.
Before he could turn around to see her glancing by her window, she immediately closed her blinds and walked back inside
She imagined if they were for her, and how she would feel when that would happen. But of course, why would he? He never saw her that way anyways
Reality is often disappointing, and it sure did for her.
Embracing her pillow close to her, she closed her eyes, hoping her wish would come true. A certain wish that can only happen by the alignment of the starts or once in a blue moon
And before she could open her eyes
.
.
.
A series of slow knocks was heard from her door and Sofia's eyes widened, but she knew it was good to be true. It is probably Amber yet again inviting her on a date with some prince or anything which she absolutely has no interest on doing
But she had to answer regardless, and so, she stood up from her bed to open the door
As the door opens, there revealed a certain Sorcerer with a tall frame holding a bouquet of lilacs and a picnic basket, he then beamed him a smile
Stunned, Sofia couldn't believe her eyes. It was too good to be true
Coyly, Cedric scratched his neck while looking away "Uh… I have to tell you something. Remember when I asked you for your preferences for the date I was gonna have for Valentine's Day?"
"uhuh…" Sofia leaned closer
Turning to her, Cedric pursed his lips "That girl was actually you all along, Sofia. I didn't want it to be awkward so I made it seem that way"
Hearing this made her giggle all of a sudden, a sudden series of merriment that sure came out of nowhere "You didn't have to do that… hee-hee! Why didn't you just tell me from the very beginning?"
"Well, I wanted it to be a surprise and all… and I didn't have the courage" a sudden change on his expression intrigued Sofia as he then turned serious. He reached out for her hand upon doing so
"But now I do." He said to her "Sofia, will you be my Valentine?"
Playfully, Sofia pinched his cheek which broke the mood. A smile soon followed which certainly made it seem like a fun joke than a serious question
"Being assertive doesn't fit you at all, Cedric" she giggled yet again before finally looking him in the eyes
"Of course, I'll be your Valentine~"
