Chapter Three: A New Reality
It had been a week since Harry found himself in this strange new universe. He had taken the time to do a full inventory of the ship and make any necessary repairs from the damage incurred during his running battles.
Harry took stock of his possessions and supplies. He found ten fully-stocked armouries, two large-scale matter forges, an ore processor, and several rooms filled with spare parts and processed materials.
There was enough food and water for two years, and the naquadah reactor core had enough fuel to run the ship for 50 years.
In addition to these supplies, Harry discovered ten wings of Death Gliders, three wings of Al'kesh bombers, and a single sarcophagus.
He spent the next several weeks absorbing the knowledge of the Tok'ra and familiarising himself with the ship's systems.
As he worked, Harry noticed something strange happening to him. He was becoming younger and fitter with each passing day.
During the next month, Harry dedicated himself to exploring the ship and learning about its technology. Despite its advanced nature, the ship was designed to look like something from ancient Egypt, with stone walls, statues and carvings decorating every hall and room.
However, as Harry delved deeper, he discovered that the technology was far beyond anything he had ever encountered. He had yet to gain understanding from the Tok'ra's memories.
One of the things Harry found most fascinating was the ship's power source, the Naquadah generator. Harry was a talented wizard, and he couldn't help but feel the urge to try and enhance the generator's output.
With a wave of his hand, Harry cast a series of spells, each one more complex than the last. He wove intricate patterns of magic around the generator, pushing it to its limits.
Despite his efforts, the generator refused to give up any more power. Harry was about to give up when he remembered the tattoo on his left arm.
It was a magical storage dimension linked directly to his soul, and it was where he had stored all of his wealth.
Harry had been forced to carry it with him after the break-in and subsequent theft he, Ron, and Hermione committed at Gringotts in London.
It was during their escape that they had lost Hermione to a stray spell from Death Eaters who had been waiting outside the bank.
The tattoo also housed a massive library of magical tomes, books, scrolls, and artefacts. Harry had collected these over the years, from all over the world, as he travelled and learned from various magical communities.
He had lived in the Muggle world for a decade, and it was there that he discovered computers and other modern technology. Harry had enchanted these items, giving them enchanted processing power and memory, including a custom smartphone. He had a large TV show and movie collection.
He also had cars, tools, and a digital library of every recorded book on the internet.
Back in his native dimension, Harry had only one family member left, his best friend Ron. Ron had a family of his own now, a wife and three sons, and they spoke several times a month before he found himself here.
Sadly, Ron was the only person who survived the war with Voldemort and the dark faction who fought with him during the battle.
As Harry gazed at the tattoo, he realised that its contents could hold the key to unlocking the full potential of the ship's power source.
He quickly willed books to appear in front of him, searching for anything that might help him in his quest.
It wasn't long before Harry stumbled upon a particularly ancient tome, written in a language he couldn't understand. Undeterred, Harry cast a spell of translation and began to read.
The tome was filled with information on ancient spells and incantations, many of which Harry had never heard of before. He pored over the pages, taking notes and committing the spells to memory.
After several hours of intense study, Harry had an idea. He cast a spell of amplification, directing its energy towards the Naquadah generator.
To his amazement, the generator began to glow with a brilliant light, and Harry could feel its power increasing with each passing moment.
Harry continued to channel his magic into the generator, refining and enhancing the spell. Finally, with a blinding flash of light, the generator reached its full potential.
Harry felt the ship come alive beneath him, its systems powering up and humming with energy.
With a grin on his face, Harry sat back and admired his handiwork. He had truly brought the ship to life.
After several moments, he had a passing thought of what might have happened if the reactor had overloaded and blown up the ship. With a sheepish look he promised outloud to only experiment on dead moon or planet and with plenty of protections in place.
