Chapter 7: Discovery

Harry's exploration took him into deep space. After weeks of searching, he stumbled upon a remote exoplanet rich in resources and untapped potential.

He quickly got to work, deploying his automated construction bots, mining bots, and maintenance bots to the planet's surface.

These bots were designed to work efficiently and independently, allowing Harry to focus on other tasks while they tirelessly mined and processed the resources they found. He was inspired to build them when he was rewatching Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. He chose not to use designs from any of the first 4 movies.

The construction bots then hollowed out a massive underground cavern a mile below the planet's surface, hidden within a large rocky plain.

This was to become the base of operations for Harry's new venture, a sprawling 7-mile long facility equipped with everything his future team would need to thrive.

At the heart of the facility was a three-bay automated shipyard, utilising ring transportation based technology to speed up the shipbuilding process.

Harry had managed to crack the transport ring technology, enabling the shipyards to dematerialise or materialise parts of any ship instantaneously.

This allowed for faster and more efficient construction of new ships, which would come in handy for future endeavours.

It took 11 months of tireless work, but the facility was finally complete. The base housed enough living space for 600 people, a 3-bay shipyard, and a large farming space to provide food for up to 1000 people. The resources available on the planet were vast, with millions of tons of materials waiting to be used.

The facility was also equipped with several labs for research and development, multiple manufacturing replicators(renamed modified rings transporters), a dozen magically enhanced cold fusion reactors for energy, and advanced water recyclers and reclaimers to ensure sustainability.

Harry had thought of everything, including several backup systems and life support systems, all housed in undetectable expanded spaces hidden throughout the facility. He drew inspiration from various franchises, incorporating their ideas and innovations into his own designs to create a truly unique and groundbreaking facility.

Harry had Hogwarts remodelled and refitted, it now resembled 1000 metres long SSV Normandy SR-2. The ship now carried 6000 V.I controlled fighters the size of a small car and designed to look like a dagger with a magically encrypted communication system all housed in undetectable expanded spaces. The ship only needed three crew members to be operated, and could house 1000 space marines. The V.I with permission from Harry could also pilot the ship.

Hogwarts upgrades had been brought over and streamlined, the new ship now sported a massive frontal plasma beam cannon, smaller point defence cannons, triple interlocking shields with triple backups.

The seniors received a much needed overhaul, now able to scan up to a 100 light years, short range scans having a range of 7 light years with better clarity and could pick up Goa'uld clocking technology. Harry's own clocking system worked by partially phasing the ship into a nearby dimension.

New wards designed to keep in the atmosphere, prevent unwanted transportation and climate control.

Hidden turrets could also be deployed if anyone managed to board the ship, special combat hard light constructs with rip-off lightsabers would automatically swarm on anyone Hogwarts listed as an enemy. Hogwarts now had a quantum computer core running the best V.I Harry could make. Hogwarts also had several lesser V.I's under its control spread out on the ship.

Harry also had two fully completed Alliance cruiser's, each being 700m long, based on the masseffect cruiser's.

Like Hogwarts, the two cruiser's also sported everything Harry could stuff into them and then some. The first cruiser and V.I was named Gryffindor. It was Harry's current big stick sporting enough plasma beams to be able to fighter 180 degrees and could turn on a dime.

The second was called Ravenclaw but was spec'd out with better and more detailed scanners, massive devices stored in undetectable expanded space because they were so big. They brought the max range for long range scanners to 300ly, short range scans reserved no enhancements. Ravenclaw was a stealth ship, meant to infiltrate and exfiltrate out of enemy space undetected.

Best of all, both ships could be stored within Hogwarts massive expanded hangar bays. Harry couldn't wait to see the look on people's faces when they saw Hogwarts disgorge these beauties. Hogwarts still had enough space for three more cruiser's or seventeen 200m destroyers.

The smaller the ship, the more defensible they became but the down side being the lack of fighter power to keep up with the cruiser's and Hogwarts.

With everything in place, Harry was ready to embark on his next adventure, exploring new frontiers and discovering the secrets of the universe. The Discovery facility would serve as his launching pad, a safe haven from which he could set out into the unknown.
