Hello everyone, my name is J.F. and I'm a rookie for a new hobby that I recently discovered this year. I did have some tongue in cheek experience reading and writing fanfic since 2006-2008, even though I was a child I was smart enough to know what it was and how it lets your imagination spread freely. This story is based on an old cartoon that I've seen as a child around the late 2000s. Once I did research about it, I was happy to rediscover it since it's been years since I've watched cartoons due to financial issues at the time through 2006-2012. This Is my first fanfic ever and planning to do more. So please enjoy this story as I will continue to make more in the future!

New meets Old: The Blue Eagle meets El Tigre
Introduction/ Prologue
Many years has passed since a tragedy that has wreaked havoc on a city that was once and still is a spicy cesspool of crimes and villainy. A young undecided vigilante roamed the streets with his familia, friends, and foes during its heyday. As the years passed by, he decided to settle for a new life with a family, a wife and 3 children, but unknown to him, something unexpected would later come up. In another part of the world, a new young vigilante is on course like him, but instead of the spirit of a big cat, it was that of a bird of prey that symbolizes liberty and justice for all. The new young man is named Calvin Delagua, a boy of Latin American and Pacific Islander descent who was born in California but raised in South Florida. With a new generation of vigilantes in the Neo-Miracle City of tomorrow, he must meet the vigilante and learn from him on his journey to solve a mystery and choose his destiny.
Suniami Beach, mid 2030s 7:23 PM.
Decades into the future, approximately 1,300 miles (about 2092.15 km) from Miracle City northeast across the Gulf of Mexico sits the coastal city of Suniami, Florida. The city is known for its high-rise skyscrapers, nightlife, beaches, rich Latin American culture, and its rising number of heroes and villains and is home to the heroes Cybersurfer and the young Blue Eagle.
On a lukewarm night with a bustling number of tourists scouting around the beach and its restaurants, a trio of friends were walking along the sand discussing what would be their next mission. One of them was Calvin who thought of one for some time since he was around 11 as he heard about him in the news during that time.
"So, what's next man? Fighting alligators or bad guys?" said Gibbs.
"Hmm, what do you have in mind Calvin?" said Eva.
Calvin responded: "Well, I think it's time for a new adventure, one I've been wanting to do for quite some time."
"Well, what is it?" said Gibbs.
"Well, I did research about a vigilante who was similar to me except he had the mantle/spirit of a tiger, calls himself El Tigre," said Calvin.
"El Tigre?" said Gibbs.
"He's that one guy from Mexico, forgot what part where he's from." said Eva.
"Yeah, I heard about him. Quite the legend he was with his folks, his real name is Manny Rivera." said Calvin.
Gibbs responded "hmmm, I did hear that name before, he's Mexican like you and heard he's an artist and married some punk rock star lady but went quiet for some time."
"Lol I'm 1/5 Mexican if you count me born as an American, but yeah, I heard they had triplets, but I heard they separated some time ago." said Calvin.
"Heard about her too, she did go quite some time ago, but no one ever found the reason," said Eva.
"Ah yes, heard the guy side of his family sucks at relationships. Constant divorces and a terrible reputation of short-term relationships," said Gibbs.
"Ha true! Along with his short-lived romance with another woman," said Calvin.
"Wow, wait who?" asked Eva.
"Ah yes the purple bird lady!" said Gibbs.
"That lady too went quiet, heard she got with someone at the same time as them," said Calvin.
"Yeah, but that lady is evil since she decided to go with some dead guy looking like a skeleton, and probably both went quiet since not much is heard about them." said Gibbs.
"True, there's a lack of evidence of their whereabouts, wonder what happened to them," said Eva.
"Heard the land of the dead has changed since then, maybe they vanished without a trace?" said Gibbs.
"Maybe, I don't know much about that place but it's inconclusive," said Eva.
"Like a Florida woman marrying the Skunk ape type of vibe, just weird!." said Gibbs.
"Hmm, I heard she was part of a group that dressed like birds and rob valuables, did criminal activities, and other schemes. Based some research based on what I found on the internet and criminal records." said Calvin.
"Whoa this brings some memories! I remember three ladies dressed like birds and I gave them their nicknames through some pics while reading an article about some city in Mexico," said Gibbs as he searched on his smartphone for them and other vigilantes:
"Black Dodo, Vulture Lady, Ol' Shortie Turkey; THE COOP OF CHICKENS!" jokingly said Gibbs.
"LOL XD" laughed Calvin as he was looking at photos of the villains and heroes of past Miracle City.
"Shoot, what a bunch of weirdos, and I thought Florida was the capital of freaks and monsters of the world!" said Gibbs.
"And I thought Europe had strange beings." said Eva.
"Sure, we got some strange vigilantes here but not as strange as them, especially they're old school!" said Calvin.
"Yeah, over here they're a tad smarter and serious. Unlike those old goofballs who look cool and all but really are just making fools of themselves, they dress kind of funny don't you think?!" said Gibbs criticizing how the old Miracle City vigilantes were weird, unlike the ones in their current time period.
"Except for the new ones, they look more up to date." said Eva.
"Kitty boy and his folks were awesome though, the new gen is way different from their time," said Gibbs.
"Yeah, he was a bit of my inspiration, those new guys I heard are making a big change in that city." said Calvin.
"Got that right, although I didn't like the fact his side is undecided," said Eva.
"True that and who goes out with a dead guy? Really, I mean you can't have kids nor do anything with a walking skeleton," said Gibbs.
"Maybe wanting companionship or love?" said Eva.
"Maybe, but unknown if those 4 went their own ways since it's been a really long time before we were even born." said Calvin.
"Hmm, what about the tiger dude?" asked Gibbs.
"Well, he's still active but not as much as before has some family left but nothing more. A lot of the original villains, heroes, and people of Miracle city are either dead, old, retired, incarcerated, or living new lives with some exceptions.," said Calvin.
"Wow, almost 30 years ago since then, how time flies," said Gibbs.
"I was inspired by him, even though I disliked a lot his choices, he was still a huge standup and role model for many around the world, especially those in Latin America," said Calvin as he acknowledges the vigilante.
"But why him? He's old news isn't he and has nothing to do with us or here in Florida?" said Gibbs.
"Well, he's a bit like me with some differences, plus he has a strong influence around the world, especially in Latin America. And I believe some of the bad guys here were influenced by his bad guys and could have a connection," said Calvin.
"Make sense, since here is known as the capital of Latin America!" said Eva.
"Plus, a majority of the villains here are influenced by the culture! Like red bird boy and tall skeleton dude!" said Gibbs.
"Sounds like an adventure awaiting us!" said Calvin.
North Sunny Islets Middle School Cafeteria, 11:25 AM.
While at lunch, Calvin sat with Gibbs and Eva Fiske, a Norwegian- American student who is a super-heroine named Sular. Powers powered by the moon and sun, her parents are Daybreaker, a former villainess, and Galunar, a hero who lived in Norway but moved to Florida to settle new lives with his reformed wife. Along with them was Latrell Johnson, a friend and football teammate, and Patricia Garcia, a redhead green-eyed Mexican girl who was Gibbs' girlfriend, who is from West Cove Beach but moved down south.
"So, man what's Poppin?" said Gibbs.
"Well, I think we should travel to the past and try to get El Tigre to work with us to solve a mystery," said Calvin.
"Well why?" said Gibbs.
"Because I have many questions to ask, along with solving a mystery about one of the bad guys here," said Calvin.
"Seems right, always wanted to meet him so I can beat him," said Gibbs
"Also, I heard his adult self is coming to the Latin American Museum of Culture and Arts, opening an exhibit of his works in Winwood. There's a possibility that one of his unknown children is one of our classmates," said Eva.
"His adult self won't likely cooperate with us but his younger self would!" said Calvin.
"Smart idea! I assume Rob man?" asked Gibbs.
"Maybe I kind of doubt it but you may never know," responded Calvin.
Robby A.R. Jimenez is a Mexican kid who has black curly hair, red eyes, and a slight hint of brown on his pale skin, like a light tan but not too dark. Being raised by his adoptive parents, who are of Argentine-Salvadoran descent and work as lawyers in Suniami and live in a rich suburb of Fort Louderdale.
Since the word on the street is that a villain named Red Talon has been spotted doing criminal acts. A bird-themed villain with high-tech weaponry, a lot of gadgets, and a great martial artist. The villain is known to fly and terrorize Sunny Islets and Suniami at night and has a sidekick named the Mosquito Kid.
"Well, I've heard Talon is originally from Mexico, possibly being the lost child of that tiger man and purple bird lady since he has moves and aesthetics like both," said Eva.
"Really? Interesting theory. Would be cool but impossible!" said Gibbs.
"Can't prove that without a DNA Test!" said Latrell.
"Ooh! What if he's a clone of the two?" said Gibbs.
"You crazy but maybe right, we may never know!" said Latrell.
"Enough Gibbs with your loco theories!" said Patricia.
"Yes ma'am. So Cali boy what we finna do?" said Gibbs.
"Hmm if I can make a spell with the right equipment, I can travel to the past and bring them both here! Said, Calvin.
"Yeah, bring them both and we can prove that Talon's their kid and work with them plus learn!" said Gibbs.
"I'll try but how can we get them to come?" said Calvin.
Patricia responded, "You guys are in the IHS program, get a request from Mr. Kook and y'all can get them to come as foreign exchange students!"
"Aww my girl is smart!" said Gibbs as he hugged her with a smile on his face.
"Alrighty love birds, settle down, and let's get down to business, Gibbs, we're going to your house after school since you have a lot of land." Calvin said. The boys knew what they had in mind as they planned out how to catch them after school.
Estrella Island, 6:07 PM
Calvin's home is a mansion located on a manmade island called Estrella Island connected to Suniami Beach by road, from his backyard he can view the city's glittering skyline and waters. After football practice, Calvin gathers his mother's old spell book and flipped to the page of the time travel spell.
"Got it! Now gotta go to Gibbs' place" said Calvin taking the book with him.
Pembroke Springs, 6:30 pm
After leaving his home, he drove his car since he gained early privilege from the government to drive because of his heroic duties. He drove to Gibbs since he lived in a farming community in a rural area of Pembroke Springs near the Foreverglades since he had a lot of land to avoid detection and damage around the big city. He used his magic to shrink his car into a pill for storage until further use. Gibbs was there waiting for him outside his house.
"Sup bud let's go to the back and do this thing," said Gibbs.
"Yes, but first we got to plan this out first since I got the invites for who I'm bringing," said Calvin.
"First, I'm bringing in a Manny Rivera known as El Tigre, and a Zoe Aves known as Black Cuervo, and 2nd we'll do a DNA test to not only find their adult selves but also to prove a point. We'll first attack the Flock to get the tiger's attention to verify that it's him and the younger villainess, plus you'll get your part at it too, be the Florida boy you are! After that we'll trap them to the side of their building near the ground with the traps, I made that neutralize their powers or weapons which you throw at them." said Calvin.
"Hmm, wonder where they are in our time right now. Wait how did you know their secret identities?" asked Gibbs.
"Tiger dude's known already by a lot of people, the other was pretty easy to figure out," said Calvin.
"Lol I knew about tiger dude but not that crazy bird! " said Gibbs.
"Lol" said Calvin.
"Hey what if they went their own ways based on what we researched?" asked Gibbs.
"Maybe, they two have a history of separations, plus it's been years they could be separated because of that, but the information is very little due to a lack of presence of the two." said Calvin.
"Well, shoot, you know you are kind of like him since you and Oscura have a similar relationship with him and that bird lady," said Gibbs.
"Except I had the guts to apologize to her, he didn't do that to her which says a lot about his bad morality," said Calvin.
"True, but still a lot in common! Plus having a best friend that is a girl except me and living in a big city with the family!" said Gibbs.
"Yeah, Eva is my best female friend for a long time. Cybersurfer may not be my father but he's like a father figure since he trains me and helps me through the toughest situations. Tiger kid has his biological mom and dad but I don't, but I'm lucky to have my adoptive parents who guided me and instill good values to me becoming who I am today." said Calvin.
"Love that guy! Such a cool retro hero with on a flying surfboard and sci fi powers! But still man family ain't all about blood it's the love that matters!" said Gibbs.
"Right, if it wasn't for those who cared and loved me, where I would be today?" said Calvin.
"Right, but let's get going! We got an adventure awaiting us!" said Gibbs.
"Alright but remember, the only thing we can't do is tell those kids too much of the future. Only their adult selves should learn because of the laws of time and continuity," said Calvin as Gibbs agreed too.
Calvin with Gibbs carefully plans an idea to lure who he wants through careful analysis and actions doing research on the web. Mr. Kook approved of his idea as he saw this as the boys' opportunity to earn credits towards graduation and college opportunities once they reach high school. Reading a time travel spell from the spell book, Calvin and Gibbs gathered 3 objects, a digital clock, a phone, and an older clock as the spell requested 3 objects of different time periods at best to act as a tether. Summoning the spell, a whish of blue waves went around them, and a circle of magic appeared as the staff glowed bright blue. A portal opened and Calvin punched in the date and time on the phone to where they were going; they walked in and felt the wormhole pulling them from their present to the past.
Note: I'll be providing the link to my characters' origin and profile of my story in Fictionpress in the next chapter along with the other characters going to be involved. In the meantime, I made a theorized future canon of the show if it went much far into the future taking in the same place as the show where the once young characters would be around their parent's age at the time period of the show's run based on my research and understanding.
