This is my fourth chapter! I hope you love it so far!

Once again, you guys know the drill. No credits or rights are mine. Only Phyllis Reynolds Naylor

Edie POV:

"Oh, I can't stand him. Trying to look all cool. Ugh." I said, as Beth and I walked into our new school.

"I know you can't, but please, don't cause a scene." Beth said, grabbing my arms. "This is no place to start a fight."

"Hello girls." Josh said, as he passed us. Then he nudged Jake. "Hello, Beth. Hi, Edith." Jake said, smirking at me.

But I decided to play along with it. "Hey Joseph. How are you?" I smirked at him. Which only made him mad.

"My name is Jake! Not Joseph!" He cried. "And my is not Edith! It's Eddie, and don't you ever call me otherwise." I retorted.

"Fine! Whatever, I don't care." He said, and walked away.

"Eddie, I'm really sorry about him. He's a grouch this morning." Josh said.

"It's ok, but isn't he always like this?" I asked, grinning.

Josh smiled. "Yeah, pretty much."

"We'll, I'll see you guys later. My first period class is starting in about..." Beth said, as she glanced at her watch. "Now. I've got to go. Bye."

"Bye!" I said, waving. "I'll see you at lunch though."

"You ready to head to our geometry class?" Josh asked.

"Yeah, let's go." I said. "But I wonder what Caroline and Wally are doing right now?"

"Who knows?" He said, as he shrugged his shoulders.

Caroline POV:

Where am I supposed to go? I asked myself. Where's Wally?

I checked my schedule, for my first period class. It said English. Room 402.

I searched for a teacher near by to tell me where it was. There wasn't a teacher anywhere, so I just settled for a tall brown haired boy by a vending machine.

"Um, can you please help me?" I asked, stepping up to him.

"Uh, sure. What is it that you need help with?" He asked.

"Where's Room 402? I can't seem to locate it." I said.

"Oh, Room 402? My classroom is right around the corner from it, so you can walk with me." He said.

"Oh, thank you. Honestly, I was so lost." I said. "I'm Caroline Malloy. What's your name?"

"My name is Blake Jones. Nice to meet you, Caroline." Blake said, smiling at me.

Does he like me or something? But I don't like him, I like Wally!

"So, what do you like to do in your spare time?"

"We'll, I like to act. Someday, I want to act on Broadway." I said.

"Oh really? Well, did you know that this school is putting on a play this year? I think it's either Wicked or Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory." Blake said.

"Oh! That sounds like so much fun! I think I would like to do that! When are the tryouts?" I asked.

"I think they're Monday after school." He said. "You should come! You might want to tryout!"

Then we walked up to Room 402. "Well, it was nice talking to you." I said, walking into my classroom.

As soon as I walked in, 30 pairs of eyes turned towards me. "I see you finally found our classroom, Miss Malloy." Mrs. Johnston said, smiling. "Take your seat behind Wally Hatford."

"Yes, ma'am." I said, smiling at her. I walked to the seat behind Wally. "Where did you go?"

"Me? Where did you go? I turned around and you were gone." Wally muttered back.

"Whatever. At least I made my way to the classroom ok." I said.

"Yeah, I'm glad you're ok." He said. "But how did you find your way here?"

"Some boy named Blake Jones helped me." I said, opening my English textbook to page 2.

"Wait... Blake Jones helped you? Are you serious?" He asked.

"Yeah. What's wrong with him?" I asked.

"He's my enemy! He's beat me out for every single starring role since you left. I tried out for every play since you left, you know, to keep your memory running." Wally said. "Plus, he's a backstabber. He stole my ex best friend."

"Oh, I'm sorry, Wally. He seemed so nice." I said.

"Yeah, he does, that is, until you get to know him." He said, shaking his head.

"Well, let's find a way to get back at him." I said, grinning. "You mean it?" Wally asked, grinning.

"I 101% mean it." I said, giggling. "Let's get Blake back."
