Dan's POV:
Dan: "Finally, we found the Entrance checkpoint."
I keep my gun ready and loaded while I stare down on the ground. Infront of me, SCP-939 covers SCP-096's mouth. Surprisingly, he doesn't really seem to care nor panic but rather is fine with it. I can hear the MTF chatting with their radios through the hallways. 939 then changes her voice into multiple, imitating 2 male survivors.
SCP-939: "Are you sure we're going to be rescued by the MTF?"
SCP-939: "Yes, I'm sure. We just need to keep searching for them but beware of the SCPs."
MTF 1: "Hey, I heard some people right down this hallway, follow me."
MTF 2 and 3: "Rodger that."
We wait for them to come to our location. Soon enough we can hear their footsteps.
SCP-939: "I think that's the MTF."
Once the MTF come to us, 939 uncovers 096 to them, revealing his face to all who's present. They become alarmed as SCP-096 afterwards starts to become enraged, along with the MTF beginning to shoot at him or just run away.
MTF 4: "It's SCP-096 in En-
Before he can finish, I hear a painful splatter, assuming that he's been bludgeoned. 939 along with me start to move out of the area while the MTF are being dealt with SCP-096. I flinch at the gun noises and brutal deaths made by the MTF, as well as SCP-096's raging screams as we run. We then run into another MTF who's listening to commands on the radio in stress. He then notices us and pulls the bolt on his gun, but before he can shoot I fire some shots into his chest.
We continue on until we're almost at an exit...I think? But all of a sudden I get shot multiple times by an MTF from the left hallway and I fall onto my stomach, my vision fades while I observe some small blood spill appearing from me. I'm lucky this armor vest has probably saved me. SCP-939's voice changes back to her original.
SCP-939: "Dan..!..you fucking MTF assholes!.."
I can hear her roar angrily as she begins advancing towards the MTF and scratching them away like paper. I don't try to crawl away as I'd probably rather want to die than wanting to leave 939, but I get lifted up by some dudes in some gas masks and green camo clothing. They shoot their AK's and LMG's at I think the MTF but I'm not too sure if they really did. I try to pull them off of me but I'm too weak to. All I can remember is arriving at Gate A and then going into an elevator, the final moment being taken into a van... It can't be that this is the army, and they were killing MTF. Who are these guys...
Timeskip...
Nothing but a heart monitor is to be heard. It can either be a kind of annoying thing or a really good thing. I look at myself and became aware that my clothes have changed into hospital clothing. After that I look up.
Dan: "..."
?: "...You're awake. Finally."
A guy in a gas mask and camo clothing walks up to my bed, he sounds like he's in his early 20s.
?: "You got shot a few times but the armor vest luckily saved you."
I stare at him for a few seconds.
Dan: "Who...the fuck are you guys, and why'd you take me away?"
Chaos Insurgent: "We're the Chaos Insurgency, we took you away for information on Site-02. We're enemies with the SCP Foundation as we steal their SCPs."
Dan: "...is SCP-939 here with you guys?"
Chaos Insurgent: "That anomaly is still at Site-02, why the hell are you asking?"
Dan: "You guys just left her to die?"
Chaos Insurgent: "I'm pretty sure she isn't dead. We had no other option, more MTF were arriving and she kept killing everybody including us. We couldn't risk it and we had to leave her there. Her and the rest are most likely recontained."
I express disappointment.
Chaos Insurgent: "What? You're in a relationship with her?"
I say nothing.
Chaos Insurgent: ''Nah, I'm just joking with ya. Anyways...what SCPs other than 939 did you see while you were at Site-02?"
Dan: "Uhh...just 173 and 096."
Chaos Insurgent: "Huh, you just saw those? Nothing else?"
Dan: "I'm not done yet. I think I saw the following in glass boxes in which I assume them to be SCPs; a conta cola bottle, a red ball, some pill bottle, and a newsboy cap. I didn't steal any though as I thought my card wouldn't be valid."
Chaos Insurgent: "Oh, well all that'd be valuable to steal."
Dan: "Yeah, whatever. How long has it been since I was here?"
Chaos Insurgent: "Like...a 5 days probably. You were in a coma."
Dan: "Jesus, when are you guys going to raid Site-02 or something?"
Chaos Insurgent: "It seems like you're interested in going back there. It's in about 2 days. This should be enough time to teach you the basics of the Chaos Insurgency. But first I think you should freshen up."
Dan: "Oh, yeah right. Wait, before I go, what's your name? Mine's just Dan."
Carl: "It's Carl. It's good to meet you, Dan."
Timeskip...
Carl: "Alright. So since you were an escaped Class-D rescued by the Chaos Insurgency, you are classified as a conscript, you however get the same loadout as a rifleman. Every soldier will be equipped with an access device card, a gun, first aid kit, painkillers excluding the CI repressor, and combat armor also excluding the CI repressor."
Dan: "So are the CI repressors like lower ranked Chaos?"
Carl: "No, they get better items. They get Logicer LMGs, heavy armor, and adrenaline. For riflemen and conscripts they are armed with AKs. Marauders have shotguns and revolvers."
Dan: "Interesting I guess. What's with the gas masks though?"
Carl: "Us Chaos Insurgents wear gas masks to hide our identity and to avoid any bad gases."
Dan: "Uhh...would SCPs and Chaos Insurgency consider being friendly with each other?"
Carl: "It's hard to convince them when we have to team up against the MTF, sometimes they just become out of control like SCP-939 did."
Dan: "939..."
Carl: "Yeah. Anyways I think that's all for today. It's pretty late so I'll try informing you about knowing how to use some of the guns tomorrow and before the raid. So...I'll see you later."
He then closes the door from my room. I sigh, a bit guilty. I'm hoping I didn't break 939's trust or I'm hoping she doesn't think that I left her to die. Although I'm also wondering a bit, am I in a loving relationship with an SCP? Some moment I've seen 939 blush at me like in that elevator and in Heavy Containment. Speaking of the elevator, I've sworn she whispered calling me cute in there. Maybe this is all true but I'm not sure. Looking at the gas mask the Chaos Insurgency has given me, I stare down at the green tinted hard to see through lenses.
