Dan's POV:

CI Repressor: "Today is the dangerous day, we're gonna attack the Foundation again. While last time was just to get a few Class-D and scientists for information, this time is to rob Site-02 of it's SCP items for our own use and to breach EVERY SCP. One of our soldiers are undercover there and has also made a deal with SCP-079 to cause havoc."

Carl: "Wait, but what happens when half of our squad dies?"

CI Repressor: "If it gets to that point we'll call reinforcements ASAP full of repressors and marauders. Now are there anymore questions?"

I feel like asking if we cannot attack SCP-939 but it'd made me look suspicious and/or stupid so I didn't.

CI Repressor: "...I guess not. Everybody put on their gas masks and armor vests if they haven't, make sure your guns are loaded. In a few minutes the van is going to arrive so don't be in such a delay."

Timeskip...

Butterflies fly around in my stomach as the Chaos Insurgency theme plays in the van, my hands clutching onto my AK. I'm glad I can see through the gas masks' lenses though, from the front it looks like you wouldn't be able to view a single thing as it's opaque.

Carl: "Hey, it might go as planned Dan."

Dan: "I'm worried about something else."

Carl: "Oh, don't stress on it too hard."

Dan: "I know.."

5 minutes later, we finally arrive at Site-02. We all get out one by one, a total of 20 CI coming out. One of the CI marauders pulls out a phone and calls who I assume to be the undercover CI. Then the lights on the surface flicker repeatedly for some time, and finally the containment breach starts. I remember that every SCP was said to have breached containment as the repressor said. This is going to be some tough shit...as well as chaos.

Half the squad splits up as the other half goes to Gate B while we go to Gate A. Once we get into the elevator I see some rifleman with one of his unoccupied fingers crossed while another is just praying quietly to God I assume. I'm just hoping whoever deserves the luck gets it. Exiting the elevator and opening the gate which leads to an office, the CI open fire on the scientists and facility guards in the public. I hear screams of terror as I just watch them light things up. After the massacre has ended, there's just the regular corpses and broken computers, along with scattered papers.

We keep moving and shooting any remaining as we desire to find Heavy Containment, and surprise surprise we find it easily to one of the CI members knowing the layout some how. The first room we find is 096's chamber, the room where I got the sergeant card. Next to it is some glass protected pill bottle, it's one of the things I mentioned when I was taken. Carl taps his card on the key reader and loots it.

Carl: "Nice, this will be valuable."

Chaos Insurgency Rifleman: "With luck we could start cloning these if we get a cloning SCP."

Echoed, I hear SCP-939's roars...of pain. 2 other CI riflemen start walking away to the location. My heart starts racing.

Dan: "Aw shit...I'll be right back."

Carl: "What? I thought you agreed to stick with me."

Dan: "I'm going to, I'll just be right back. Don't stress too hard."

I follow the 2 other guys leaving the 7 member group alone to do their own things. For half a minute I've been running to the gun shots, noticing a CI corpse savagely mauled, along with a few muffled yells for help. At that time, the noises stop. Some marauder is running of heavily damaged, wrapping himself up with a first aid medical kit.

CI Marauder: "Run away guys! SCP-939 is real fucking angry from something!"

He then disappears out of my view. Instead of his request, I do the unhurried opposite. Sneaking into the hallway, it's just some bodies of the other CI group. I'm quite afraid. Immediately, she comes out visible at an open door, bellowing with blood all over her snout and claws.

SCP-939: "I just asked if they've seen him, but they just had to attack at me without hesitation."

Letting my survival instincts down, I start walking down the hallway towards her and with my AK aimed at the floor. 939 turns her head towards me and she doesn't attack, I don't either. Making it obvious, I throw the my AK to the floor. We take a good look at each other.

Dan: "..."

SCP-939: "..."

Remembering somethings she said to me when we first met gave me an idea.

Dan: "...you know, I got to appreciate you for not attacking me on sight."

She turns herself fully towards me, able to recognize the slight muffled voice behind my mask.

SCP-939: "..."

Dan: "We both already know you have a voice for me to talk to."

SCP-939: "Yeah...I do."

All perfectly said. Approaching her without terror but only peacefulness, I gently pet her head to comfort her in which she reacts in steadily hugging me softly. I can hear her "monstrous" breathing slowly transition to quiet crying.

Dan: "Hey, hey.. It's alright. We're here for each other."

SCP-939: "...I thought you were going to leave me here forever or I would never see you again..."

Dan: "Never would I want to, neither would I need to. I try the max limit to not be like them."

SCP-939: "..."

SCP-939: "Please don't let go of me after too short, Dan.."

Her crying increases a bit, pulling me into her hug tighter in which I hug her back. We hold on to each other for a minute until she slowly stops crying. It felt, meaningful. Eventually...

SCP-939: "I feel fine now, you can let go now.."

Dan: "Are you sure?"

SCP-939: "Yes.."

Dan: "Okay...don't begin crying like a baby again once I do."

Smoothly, we let go and gaze at each other. She's seem to have calmed down.

Dan: "You aren't too badly hurt right?"

SCP-939: "..Somewhat, it's only bullets that I just healed from during that hug.."

Dan: "Even better that you healed. We have to get out of this area quick before anybody else arrives to see us, whether it's your friendly SCP buddies or the Chaos Insurgency squad, it's going to or could be both be bad for us."

SCP-939: "Okay, should you follow me or should I follow you?

Dan: "Just follow me, I think I know where the CI are so we'll stay away from them."

939 then looks behind me.

SCP-939: "...uhh."

Dan: "What?"

Turning around, I see some plague doctor and corroded man standing at the door. The 2 express confusion and curiosity.
