Chapter 1: Caring Logan
Katie pov:
Ughhh I hate school. It doesn't make any sense. I sit at the table while I'm home alone. Gustavo gave the guys a week off so they spent the first day by the pool. My mom's at the grocery store so I'm gonna be home alone for a while. I start crying as I realize I can't solve a simple math problem. I'm so into my thoughts that I didn't notice Logan walking in. He immediately stops when he sees me
Logan Pov:
I got tired of hanging by the pool so I decided to head back to the apartment. When I walk in, I notice Katie at the dining room table crying surrounded by paper. I hate seeing her upset like this so I decided to approach her to ask what's wrong
"Hey Katie Kat, Are you ok?" I ask gently while caressing her cheek
"No, I'm so stupid Logan" She says crying
"Why do you think you're stupid Katie?" I ask confused and concerned
"Because I can't do a simple math problem. Look" She says and she shows me how she does the problems and how difficult it is for her to solve them
"I give up. I'll never understand math" She says as she gets up to leave
I gently grab her arm before she can have a chance to run
"Hey, just because you can't do simple problems, doesn't make you stupid Katie. It just means you don't understand the material and you just need some practice" I tell her
"Will you help me Logie?" She asks softly almost like she was afraid to ask for my help
"Aww Of course Katie" I say as I pull up a chair and take a look at some of the problems
I walk her through each problem step-by-step and after an hour, she was able to do every problem on her own
"See katie? You got it! I'm so proud of you" I say as I hug her
"Thanks Logie, I couldn't have done it without you"
Katie pov:
Omg! Logan is actually hugging me. Wait, why am I so happy to be this close to Logan? Oh No, am I starting to like him? No this can't be happening. I need to talk to the guys. This can't be good, Or can It?
